Our party of four was pretty disappointed in the food this past Saturday night. There was only one entree and an appetizer that had some flavor. Everything else was super bland and needed a ton of soy sauce. Even the fried rice was super boring. Birthday outing for a friend last night- Sunday- dinner and our server was amazing. She was so professional, attentive and friendly. Loved everything we tried: crab wontons, chicken lettuce wrap, sweet and sour chicken, kung pao chicken , honey chicken, Mongolian beef. Our server even had a cheesecake ready to go for our birthday girl. Decided for a takeout dinner a few weeks ago and tried their seasonal Item: a Korean glass noodle dish with beef (what Koreans call japchae). It was delicious too. I was pleasantly surprised. Great food and service. Not that I expected worse but I was a little tainted by the reviews before I walked in however it was something I overlooked and I am so glad I did. Lettuce Wraps, spring rolls, chow mein, Mongolian beef and Chang's spicy chicken. Everything was a hit and easily fed a party of 4. Food was fresh and hot and service was good. Omg! The Brussel sprouts are EDIBLE GOLD ! The best way to cook Brussel sprouts! The waitress said it's the Wok char that does it. She said they steam or blanch also prior to cooking in wok. The flavors are amazing and even if you don't like spicy it was not spicy to me just filled with flavors. Banana spring rolls are great too and served with pineapple ice cream so yummy. When we walked in the front lobby, it was very dirty all over the floor and as we walk to the table, I saw a lot of unclean tables along the way. We were seated next to a station where the employees hang out, and we heard them complaining about the customers. Service was good and they said all the right things, but I could tell none of the employees seemed happy to be working there. Their demeanor was like just going through the motions. We went for my birthday meal. But ended up using a Changs cash because that deal was better $15.. so no mention of my bday at all after I told the waitress it was my bbirthday. We ordered BBQ pork spareribs. They changed the name but it tastes the same as Changs ribs. That was my husband and son's favorite thing they ate. My son ordered Lo Mein kids meal. We ordered teriyaki beef, broccoli beef and honey chicken to eat family style. My son's 2nd favorite thing was teriyaki beef and 3rd was coconut pineapple ice cream. I like the ice cream the best. My husband liked the ice cream 2nd and teriyaki beef 3rd. I liked the broccoli beef and honey chicken better than the teriyaki beef. Overall a good meal. Pak greeted us and took our beverage orders shortly. Since it was my birthday, I ordered a free appetizer of spareribs.. We also ordered the sesame chicken and the honey shrimp with brown rice. The sesame chicken was especially tasty while the honey shrimp was excessively sweet for my taste. Throughout the meal Pak attended to our every need. We needed finger wipes after those sticky delicious ribs. We need refills several times for our soft drinks. And occasionally we need a plate removed from the table at the end of our meal, Pak offered me a complementary dessert as well. My husband and I haven't been here since before the paramedic. We use to come for the great happy hour and decided to go check out what has changed. We were pleasantly surprised that they still had one. We enjoyed $10 appetizers (chicken lettuce wraps, crab wontons, shrimp dumplings and crispy green beans) that were tasty and plenty for just the two of us. Very disappointed always a favorite of ours. To go order... Said be ready in 15.minutes waited 40 minutes. The girl kept saying almost ready. I ask for extra soy sauce! No soy sauce at all!!! Chicken fried rice is had 8 small pieces of tough chicken pieces with Brown rice that was obviously sat in a pan. Very little veggies. Honey chicken we always order again a taste of old oil used. We called back to complain and left on hold for 20 minutes finally hung up. transferred 2 times. We love the left overs! In this case we tossed it. I'm waiting we watched the girl leave the front area a visit with bartender why we were waiting on food. And saying oh I'll go check. 40 minutes after a we arrived and told 15 minutes it be ready. I heard SONYA a server at P.F. Chang's say "someone will trip over this" with attitude (that's what caught my attention) and looking to see what she was talking about, it appeared as though, instead of politely notifying me, she had kicked my purse under the chair resulting in both of my lip sticks on each side of my chair!! So the next time she walked past me I asked her " sorry but I missed what you said, did you say something to me, she said " I kicked your purse under your chair" fast forward explaining to FOH manager about the situation she was not helpful, she did not care! Beautiful day in Temecula, CA Came to the Promenade Mall to shop and decided on PF Changs for lunch. Just so happens; I had an offer for a free entree of Ginger chicken. I only needed to order an entree off the menu to receive the offer. "Tip" Dn load the PF Changs' app and sign up. You too can receive offers. My wife loves the food and service here at this location. Yes, friendly service, ambiance and lots of parking are huge pluses. My take on what we ordered: Ginger chicken w/broccoli was just okay. Flavor was on the bland side for me as I was not tasting the ginger. But that's me. My wife really enjoyed this dish. Signature Lo Mein w/shrimp was the better dish, imo. On the sweet side, (which my wife likes) though it balanced out the savoriness of the shrimp and vegetables of this dish. Please remember, recipes here are developed for the American palate.
