P.F. Chang's is one of my favorite places to go for dinner or lunch. They have friendly service and a stylish decor. Their food is great! I usually start of with a tasty lettuce wrap or some crispy green beans- both delicious! But what really kept me coming back was the Kung Pao chicken- Chicken, peanuts, and onions covered in a spicy sauce. Fantastic! The only down side is that because it's so popular, the wait can be pretty long. But I say it's worth it. Definitely a place I'd come back to! read more

I used to love this restaurant, but it has gone downhill. The spring rolls are still crispy and delicious... but the rest of my order (vegetable fried rice and crispy honey shrimp) was not. I absolutely love PF Changs! Especially on a Friday to treat myself and family or even after church on Sunday. Today I am extremely disappointed. I ordered two dishes and two dynamite shrimp my favorite! In my dynamite I had 1 shred of carrot 2 small pieces of lettuce 3 shreds of cabbage and sauce dumped on my 9 shrimp. My husband picked it up didn't look this dish is 10.95 a piece. I called and talked to a manager name Dillon he said it could have been the ride home and or he didn't understand the problem. Problem is who wants to pay for food that isnt made with the ingredients that you paid for to be on it to eat! He kept us on the phone for 15 min to discuss this! Finally we said that was enough! Hey! I like PF Chags their management is usually kind and fair. Customer service I've never had a problem until........Dillon the keeper of cole slaw! I was skeptical about this place, but Somerset South usually has decent dining (e.g. the old Portobello). It was my first "chain" Chinese food experience, and it felt really really weird, and sort of wrong. When I think about a Chinese restaurant, I think about low lighting, and Chinese music (if any), and lots of my brethren. I can't take away a star for ambiance, because this is Somerset South, and the ambiance was perfect for the crowd. The food was quite extraordinary. There was a large variety of options for all diners, including gluten free items. Apparently the lettuce wraps are a must-order appetizer, and they are a good way to start off. The Banana Spring Roll Dessert (with homemade ice cream!!!!) was one of the best dessert items I've ever tasted. The prices are very reasonable, as well. The place does get really busy at lunch and dinner times, so it is a good idea to make a reservation. read more

SO I just came back from P F Changs with the love my life and let me tell you...we had an awesome time. They must have known that we were gonna be PDA central, so they sat us in this cozy booth in the back. The waiter was kind of weird (he wouldn't put my ID in my hand) but he made sure we were taken care of. Today I stepped outside my comfort zone and tried some crap wontons. It actually was pretty good. Of course, for my main entree I had my old faithful Sweet & Sour Chicken, and he had the Honey Chicken (which I personally wasn't a fan of but he scraped the plate). I'm usually a fan but my last visit was so disappointing. We had four different servers to start with, it was utmost chaos. Our food was so incredibly salty, it was almost disgusting. They messed up our order and conveniently forgot to serve us a dish we had ordered. They didn't even have the decency to apologize or try and make amends. Hmm - Well I will admit I like more "authentic" places. To me clean and high end mall based restaurants are not quite right for good Chinese. That said I think they do a failry good job - food would give it a four stars, noise and prices kick it back to 3. But all in all a safe, family friendly choice for Chinese. The food was good, but at other PF Chang's (Las Vegas) I've had better focus and offerings of sauces to spice up our meals. NONE were offered HERE! We were told via the menu that spicy chicken was spicy (one red pepper symbol) but it was actually quite bland. That was a disappointment. Service was good, meals were tasty overall, but again bland. Dessert was scrumptious. Also, if you crave draft craft beers, DON'T GO HERE! They only offer pricey bottle beer. read more

What on earth has happened to PF Chang's? I'm old. I remember when eating Chinese food meant going to a family owned restaurant with tacky red wall paper, lots of gold and plastic furniture. The food was greasy and salty, loaded with MSG, but we still loved it. Then along came PF Chang's and offered us a western style dining room with a real bar and higher quality food. Well, that has gone into history. I had heard from friends that the quality of food had gone downhill and that everything was greasy and salty. Yep. Ordered the hot and sour soup. They have replaced the previous cups with smaller cups. Mine was not even 3/4 full and there was no chicken, tofu, or anything other than bean sprouts. I ordered the Chang's Spicy Chicken as an entree and although it used to have a bit of a crunch to it, today's dish was soggy and so salty I could hardly choke it down. I used to love this restaurant. A real "go-to" destination. But I have been for the last time. It looks like management is so intent on decreasing food costs and increasing margins that they don't care any more about quality. I'm going to look for another one of those family-owned joints and just deal with the MSG. read more

Went in about a week ago as I really like the Sweet and Sour Pork to find no pork on the menu except the pork dumplings which, by the way, are delicious! They made us Sweet and Sour Pork with thin strips of pork but it was not the same! Very disappointed! Please bring back the pork! read more

They had great service, great food, and was reasonable timing for getting food out, especially with how busy it was. Any other Chinese restaurants I've been to I haven't been to big on their food. This place totally blew me out of the water as to how good their food is. read more

Comically bad service. We actually picked this as spot for dinner on my birthday, wanting their lettuce wraps as something light before going out. We were seated quickly, right next to the waiter stand. Nobody came to our table or even looked at us for over 10 minutes. We finally got up and found the manager. A minute later our waitress came over. She said she was sorry but that she was busy with a huge group. However, she had was directly by our table at least 3x without even looking at us. Then during the meal we were both out of water. And nobody came by for over 10 minutes again. Mind you. We are siting next to a waitress station and a dozen waiters are flying by our table. But we can't get a single ones attention. Finally I get up myself and grab a water pitcher and fill our glasses. The best part, the manager walks right by me as I'm doing it. Doesn't even notice! He was a total dunce. We like the food here but clearly their service is not a priority at all. Not going back. read more

PF Changs is pretty predictable but generally has much more atmosphere than your typical chinese restaruant. Loved the martini menu and the lettuce wraps were tasty. I think it satisfies everyone and its a nice option at the Somerset Collection. Is it the end all and be all? no, but its decent. read more

This PF Changs is constantly crowded and not the best service. After waiting for 20 minutes for a lunch table. I had to ask the person seating us to wipe the dirty bench off - which he did. But, then he didn't dry it. I needed to stand and wait until it dried. It took another 20 minutes to get drinks. Then our order was incorrect. I don't feel it was the fault of the server - they were just too swamped. They should honestly think of more staff. They could turn more people through the restaurant with faster service! read more

I'm always traveling around with work and always end up at P.F. Changs in TROY MI. The food and atmosphere are amazing. Ted the general manager always comes to our table and asks how everything is and makes it a friendly warm atmosphere. Leslie the bartender remembers everyone by name and always builds a relationship with her customers. I always recommend this place to my other co workers n friends. The food and atmosphere are great! The service? Even better! We love Nick the manager, always stopping by to say hello. He really understands the importance of making regulars feel important and welcome. We traditionally sit at the bar. Leslie and Nadia are great. They are always good for a smile, a laugh and impeccable service. And if all that weren't already enough, the Sea Bass melts in your mouth. The Changs Chicken Noodle Soup will warm you up, make you feel better, cure hang overs! It's a miracle in a bowl. And I know they are known for their Lettuce Wraps. They are great. We were a group of 3 couples and an year old baby.We went there to celebrate our friend's birthday.To start with the service was pathetic, we did not get what we ordered and it was apparent that the waitress was intentionally making mistakes.With all this our celebration mood was totally spoiled and hence we cannot even enjoy the food.After a week while checking our bank statement we got to know that the tip that my husband gave was not what he paid !! He gave $1 as a tip and on the bill it was 9. The bank is dealing about this with the restaurant. read more

The food is good...the service never is, for me at least. I have been to PF Chang's 5 times in the last 6 months (not by choice) and only ONE out of five times has the server been nice, polite, attentive, and worth my hard-earned money. I was in the service business for 20 years and now am on the other side - the businessperson dining out, so I know there are bad days and good days for everyone but PF Changs seems to have only those people with bad days. read more

Our recent visit to P.F. Changs was not a pleasant experience! After we were greeted by our first server, 5 minutes later she told us a different server would be serving us. We ordered our usual appetizer of chicken lettuce wraps. We had to send them back because they had a burnt flavor! When we finally received our main courses, (with the dining room half empty) the shrimp pad thai had no flavor. The great chocolate cake for dessert was very lacking in the usual raspberry sauce accompaniment. No one ever bothered to re-fill our water glasses! When the server asked me if I would like a 2nd cup of coffee, it was never brought to me! For the restaurant being over half empty, the server seemed very slow and disorganized. We were so disappointed with our meal at P.F. Changs. Unfortunately, we will not be returning for a very long time! read more

Visited on a Sunday afternoon. Food was good, as always, esp the chicken lettuce wraps. Service was however very slow/ poor. Maybe they were busy, but even then.... There were two servers. One was the lady who took the order, got you the bill. She was okay, competent, but did not check on us often, and twice I had to get up to chase her for stuff (e.g. for serving spoons, clean plates). One was the guy who delivers food. He was not good at all - maybe he was new, maybe he was having a bad day. Served poorly, moved plates roughly, did not give us clean plates till late etc. Overall, a poor service experience, at some stage we just asked for the check, paid and left. Worth going back for the food, but only when it is less crowded. read more

It was in January 2015 that I wrote a review of this promising restaurant, when it barely opened. It remains to date in the "promising category". I have eaten in other P.F.Chang restaurants and have been very pleased. I visit Briarwood Mall occasionally and realized how ideal it is to move from shopping to eating within steps of each other. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the gallantry of our server. As well as with the impressive selection of food items. Sadly, my soup was cold and landed back in the kitchen. The sauce for my husband's dish was overly sour and the rice was hard to pick up with chopsticks because it was not "sticky rice" a standard Chinese fare. (We lived in Asia 14 years). The food needs to measure up to the looks, decor and service of this promising restaurant. I don't know anyone that goes there to just enjoy the decor of the place...... read more

Placed an order through GrubHub last night (18 Mar 2017) for over $77.00 that included 4 meals and one appetizer, to feed family drop-ins. Three of the meal orders and the appetizer ordeer were marked clearly GLUTEN FREE per the directions on the website for people with allergies & medical issues. One meal was gluten by it's very nature, but was for a non-Celiac. 1.5 hrs later the food shows up. The labels showed it the way it was ordered, but someone had written on the top of TWO meals & appetizer that they were NOT gluten free. Surprise, here we are, 3 Celiacs that can't eat gluten and only ONE gluten free meal. I called the restaurant and the attitude was "we marked them so you'd know." When I said it wasn't want I ordered, I was given the manager, who's attitude was "sorry." I'm digging leftovers out of my fridge so we can eat without getting sick after spending over $77 for food and they didn't give a DAMN! BTW, the manager then claimed "someone" tried to call us. We were sitting right by the phone and it NEVER rang. Lying to me after screwing up my meal and wasting my money is the biggest insult. read more
