Had reservations and were seated within 10-15mins of our arrival/reservation time. For this side of Troy it's nice to be able to go out to eat (two of us) and have it cost under $100 for dinner and drinks. Felt like the food was reasonably priced for entrees, but wished that the entrees included more veggies. I had the sesame chicken (comes w rice), $17, my husband the pepper steak $19 (comes w rice), and we both enjoyed our dinners. The shrimp tempura app at $14 felt steep considering it was only 8 pieces and the shrimp tempura was cold. My favorite part of the meal was the Old Fashioned (guess there's a "Japanese Old Fashioned," on the menu, but since the waitress couldn't even explain what it was I went with the traditional). That drink was amazing--super smooth, but clocked in at $16. Do I need to go back? Nah. Food was solid, but not amazing. Ambiance is chain-chic and a little too noisy for my taste. I give this a three-star only because the food is so generic, but is totally expected from a chain restaurant. It's kind of like the Denny's of Chinese. So many people rave about the food here but it's just basically Panda Express with a waitress. A lot of people don't feel that way, but I have to be honest. My sever while very sweet spoke super quiet and I was wearing a hearing aid. I was excited because of an illness I haven't been able to go there and eat in over 3 years. I ordered the Won Ton soup with no mushrooms and decided on the beef & broccoli. The soup came out loaded with mushrooms. I couldn't find my waitress so I ask someone else in the area if the could take it back. After a bit, it came out again with mushrooms! Looked like someone tried to pick them out of the broth and missed a couple. After that time, I said no soup. If you are allergic to something, you can't just pick it out. after a few more minutes she brought out the beef and broccoli. I figured the meat was going to be chewy, but it was like leather, The worse part was I couldn't even bite a piece of the broccoli. I like it when my broccoli is cooked enough so you can cut it with a knife. This might have been ok with a steak knife. The really sore part for me is a manager never came out to the table to apologize for the two mess up with the soup. Yes, they took the two soups (she charged me 2 times for it) off the bill, the manager maybe was busy because there was about 5 tables with people. I believe it was the hostess (very sweet lady) offed the get the manager, but I have some side effects from my illness, and I have to get home within a short amount of time. Place: This place is in sommerset and I feel like they changed up the menu and layout. They take reservations and very spacious. Service: The service was amazing! They gave us time to order and gave us some recommendations. We came during my brother's graduation and they gave us a complimentary sparkler and dessert. Food/price: The food display has changed as dry ice came out and they had a stacked design for a sample plate. We had the miso soup and it was so good. This review is based on past experiences and a more recent one. So this place is finer Chinese mall food basically. It works in a pinch for me! However, I have friends that want to come here for dinner, so obviously others think it's much better than I do. It's a bit too much $ for what you get IMO. I guess this place works if you want American Chinese food! And maybe years ago I thought their food was very good but since then my tastes have evolved. On my recent visit my server seemed a bit irked as I had a complicated other, sauces on side and the food steamed. I admit I was a bit high maintenance, but I had done my research prior to my visit, so I wasn't a big pain. (Watching carbs/calories). I do have to add she got nicer as time went on. I was given a paper menu to scan, however, it didn't have any of the prices listed and that made more work for my server, which may have annoyed her. Came here for lunch and the food was great. Great for those who have a gluten allergy. They have specific bowls and plates to ensure gluten allergy is noted. A ton of options as well. Food not brought out so I went in looking for it. My food was sitting there at the bar. The worker was chatting to another employee and said, "oh if I had known I would have brought it out." Duh. Called to place a to go order, they refused to take over the phone orders and said they only accept online orders. Placed order online and was given a pickup time. Arrived at pickup time, was told their website "didn't work" and that it was going to be an additional 30 minutes until it was ready. No worries, waited another 40 minutes before going back up. I asked for an updated time that the food would be ready, was told "I am not sure". When I pressed for more info, I was told it would be an "additional hour and a half". So overall I would have ended up waiting 2+ hours for food. Disheartened at poor service, poor communication, and overall poor experience. read more

We also had a gift card so the choice of where we should eat was simple. Looking at my previous review from a year ago, must have also been here for anniversary! We informed our server, Lauren, that we wanted to use up the gift card and then run a tip on Credit Card, so she could make sure we weren't under but also not too much over; it worked out just right! We really liked our dishes last time but decided to explore a bit this time. We repeated the Bowl of Wonton Soup (serves 6) for the two of us. Then my wife chose the Miso Glaze Salmon, seared and rare on the inside, just how she likes it. The chef knows what he's doing because that's how he prepared it. I decided to try Chang's Chicken which seemed to be similar to Sweet & Sour but without the sour and plus a bit of spice; I upgraded to Fried Rice. This was also delicious, but I think I liked the Shrimp & Lobster Sauce I had before a little better. Service was great; thanks, Lauren! Definitely felt safe and appreciated. We wore masks to our table and when going to the restroom. They seated every other booth. There were sanitation stations every few tables. Our waitress was attentive, clearly spoke even with a mask. She was efficient and friendly. I did not get her name. My guest had shrimp lo main and I had kung pao shrimp. Very tasty. I have had every order the past 3 years delivery and on-site wrong...no one has ever apologized and I try to support business but I have been on hold now for 45 minutes without ever speaking so someone after call 3 times prior to ensure my order would be correct and nothing was correct expect the cause and chop sticks...just save your time and money...honesty tai pei frozen meals are just as good and then you don't have to go through all this...smdh I ordered shrimp fried rice and got beef...and paid the extra cost for shrimp...don't bother with this and I'm still on hold read more

He gasped upon taking a bite of his sesame chicken. And I quote, "this is so sad...worst than losing your childhood best friend" [he remembered it being so good]. I also felt like I walked into a funeral service or someone had just hit our waitress. P.F. If you follow me, look at my check-in's, or even my past reviews you'll see I'm a P.F. Chang's regular, I'm here AT LEAST once a week - if not more. This location is now doing reservation only, you have to call to make a reservation as well, you can't do it online. The bar seating I believe is first come first serve but good luck, it's very hard to find a spot with only 6 spots available spaced out. This place is overwhelming carry-out and the bar does get a little cold with the doors opening and closing so often. Since my last review P.F. Chang's has made some updates, they've got new menu styles, new items, and they got rid of some items. The staff also have new uniforms which they tell me they love, and it looks very elegant compared to what they used to wear. They have this new thing called theatre at the table, which goes back to the new menu items, it's all about presentation now, if you order certain drinks/dishes they come with smoke or if you order deserts they will light them on fire and drizzle Carmel to put it out. Very fun and a new exciting thing to add to P.F. Chang's. This last visit we got two new things from their menu, 1) for dinner we got the Peking duck, it comes on a platter with a sort of build it yourself style platter - the duck is FANTASTIC and a 10/10 recommend from me and my partner, as well as the staff. 2) we also decided to try a new dessert, our main dessert is the Great Wall cake but to try something different we got: the Fire & Ice Dessert which is "warm bread pudding with the chill of vanilla ice cream, encased in a rich chocolate shell and served flaming". It was a solid 8/10, not sure if I would order again when compared to the Great Wall cake, but it was still good nonetheless. Unfortunately they're getting rid of our FAVORITE wine here, the Campo Viejo, so we will just have to bring our own and pay the cork fee, which I believe is only $10. Will still end up being cheaper than buying a bottle like normal, but having to bring your own just doesn't seem as fun as ordering on there :) All in all I'm a P.F. Chang's fan if you haven't gathered and I'd recommend checking this place out on a weekday night with a reservation, they won't seat walk-ins unless its very early is my understanding. If you're at the bar I hope you get Amanda or Jackie, they're the best! read more

I want to preface this review by saying that, normally, I'm not a big fan of chain restaurants, but this time I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered appetizer - duck spring roll - from their special holiday menu and it was absolutely delicious. I wish they would make it a menu staple! There was a good size portion of duck in the roll and the dough was so good! Next up was Wonton soup. And, another pleasant surprise. Many restaurants make the soup with pretty much just broth and dumpling. Not here. PF Chang's soup was just right! And besides the expected dumplings there was also fresh mushrooms, water chestnuts, shrimp and green garnish! Winner! I also ordered Asian Caesar with chicken - and greatly enjoyed it as well. As we all know Caesar salad is all about the dressing and this one was good- not too watered down, great taste and consistency. Grilled chicken had a good flavor. Since I didn't have anything to complain about- 5 stars it is :). And service was great as well- the waiter was helpful and attentive. read more

I've came to this location a million times and finally decided to finally do a review. I can only muster up three stars because I've had both good and bad experiences here. Luckily this was a good experience. There's a very grown and sexy vibe when you initially walk in with the lights dimmed really low. All of the servers wear black as well to go along with the color scheme of the restaurant. (I assume) When we first walked in we were immediately seated and our waitress came over very quickly and took our drink orders. She was new, but she still knew a lot about the menu and whatever she didn't know she'd ask the person training her. I appreciated that because I'd rather you ask than give us the wrong information especially when it comes to food! Since I didn't have any gift cards or coupons like I usually do, I skipped the lettuce wraps as they can be slightly pricey and things add up very quickly here. I ended up getting the Veggie Pad Thai which tasted amazing! In my opinion the best item on the menu are the banana spring rolls. I always ask for strawberries on the side and they always bring them free of charge! This is the perfect location to grab a bite to eat if you're shopping on the really fancy super expensive side of Somerset mall for those who build up an appetite shopping at Gucci & Louis Vuitton! After this moderately well experience I'd say I'm open to coming back trying more things on the menu! read more

Must haves every visit and after a bit of chaotic shopping at Somerset Collection. It's not bad to put in your name and do some browsing on the south side of the mall. It depends on the time you go, but during the core lunch hours, it's usually anywhere between 15-60 minute wait. I tend to like to eat here late afternoon and well after 2pm. The things I like at PF Chang's are the lettuce wrap, still the better version here. The Chang's chicken and the Mongolian beef are all good. Simple dishes with a protein and veggie and an addictive sauce to accompany it. read more

Last night my wife and I went here for dinner. It was our first time in a long time at a P.F. Changs and was I ever glad! I give this 5 stars but will first say that my wife was not as impressed as I was. She enjoyed the meal but thought some of the flavor was weak/missing. Our only other complaint was that there was a group at the bar that just could not keep their voices under a sonic boom level...but that is not the restaurant's fault. Ashlynn(sp?) Was our server and she was attentive, polite, friendly, and nice. When we go back, if she is there, she will be our server again! I'm not sure what to really say about this PF CHANGS. The only thing that was good that I ordered was the shrimp dumplings and the sauce. The mandarin salad had rice "sticks" that were stale. The salad dressing was pure peanut sauce. The orange chicken was flour filled, barely chicken in it. The kung pao chicken was breaded and mushy. The white rice was cooked good. The "signature Lo mein" was lo seasoned, flavorless. I had to add soy sauce and salt to bring it to life. The spring rolls were good but the sauce was gross. Waitress was efficient but when we told her my spouse waited 30 minutes AFTER his meal was delivered to get his noodles, she said, "sorry about that" and walked away. Overall just decent food, what you'd expect from a chain. I will say the Mongolian barbecue is very delicious and has a perfect balance of sweet and salty. The Lettuce wrap appetizers are INREDIBLE. Likely the best item on the menu in my opinion. The orange chicken had a very strong orange flavor (like the actual fruit), and I wasn't the biggest fan unfortunately. Would not get it again. The kung pao shrimp was pretty salty but the spice was good. The staffing is very friendly and quick service overall. read more

Decent food, but very poor customer service, Last time I ordered delivery from PF Chang's, I noticed there was a gift card field on the website. So, when my mom asked me which restaurant I wanted a gift card for for Christmas, I told her PF. I went online two days ago to place my order, and the gift card wouldn't work. I got an error. When I called the restaurant, I was told that -- although there is a gift card field shown while ordering -- gift cards won't work online. The guy told me I could use my gift card for carryout if I ordered over the phone, but not for delivery, and I would have it go inside to pick up my order. I couldn't do it that night because I'm pregnant and can't go in anywhere due to COVID risks. Two days later I called to place an order (for my husband you pick up) and was told I had to do so online, and that orders are not taken by phone. I explained that gift cards don't work online, and he said ... sorry ... we're just not taking gift cards today. (Apparently, because it's Valentine's Day? Not sure.) He said they will take my gift card another time, but not tonight. This experience left me disappointed, and with bad feelings about this restaurant. Needless to say, i won't be asking for a PF gift card again, and I don't recommend giving them as gifts. That said, both employees I spoke with acted professionally, and no one was rude. Went here tonight for dinner. It was a Friday night and we beat the rush by arriving at 5:00pm. They sat us at a small table for two next to another couple--a little too close for comfort. Our waitress greeted us and took our drink and food order. She was pleasant but didn't seem to want to chit chat at all, basically I'm here, what do you want?--at least that's how it felt. She seemed very busy/rushed and it did not make for a good dining experience. We ordered the hot and sour soup, lettuce wraps, Kung Pao chicken, and pepper stead, with brown and white rice. The food started coming within 15 minutes. The soup was tasty and hot. The lettuce wraps did not come with enough lettuce but the seasoned chicken with it was good. The king Pao chicken wasn't spicy enough and the pepper steak was cold. We never got our white rice, just two bowls of brown rice. For dessert we had the lava cake and ice cream. The lava cake was far too spongy and too light, almost like they made it in a microwave. The ice cream was far too hard to spoon. Speaking of spoons, the waitress actually gave us forks to eat the dessert, we had to ask for spoons. Who eats ice cream with a fork?! Overall I was not impressed with this location and the so so decor. It's far from elegant, and the wait staff actually wear jeans. Last I checked, this isn't a western saloon. The food quality was sub par and the tables are too close together lacking any privacy, unless you get one of those horseshoe type tables. read more
