We always have liked PF Chang's. This was our first time at this location and were looking so forward to it. We ordered takeout: 1. BBQ ribs 2. Lettuce wraps 3. Salt and pepper shrimp 4. PF Chang's chicken 5. Pepper steak My wife both and I agreed that this could be THE WORST Chinese meal we have ever had. Every dish was terrible. The shrimp were simply breaded, they missed adding the chili sauce. Pepper steak tasted of corn starch (used to thicken sauces) and had no flavor. On and on with every dish. We've been coming here for a few years and have never had a bad experience. For those not sure about some of the more adventurous offerings on the menu, the Mongolian beef and Chang's chicken are good gateway dishes. The ginger beer is a personal favorite of mine. The staff are always friendly and attentive and the food is fresh and delicious. Parking can be a bit tight when the shopping center is busy. We usually make a reservation if we're going to be there during peak dinner hours and have never had an issue there. This P.F. Chang's was part of an outdoor mall. The restaurant was pretty spacious and the service was pretty good. My friend ordered the appetizer, which was the Chang's Lettuce Wraps while I ordered the shrimp rice. I honestly think the Chang's Lettuce Wraps was worth the money because even when it was an appetizer, it was very filling, delicious and of course, since it's an appetizer, the cost is cheaper. The shrimp rice was decent and I liked the fact I got a refill on my rice when I got the meal to go. I really recommend going to P.F. Chang's and getting their lettuce wraps. I am EXTREMELY disappointed with this location. I ordered to-go, and mistakenly trusted that my order would be fulfilled correctly. First, I got there and called that I was there for the curbside pickup, and proceeded to sit in my car for 8 minutes waiting for it to be brought out. After getting tired of waiting I went inside to find my order sitting at the to-go counter getting cold. I got the order and proceeded to go home. Keep in mind I drove over 45 minutes to get P.F. Chang's as this is the closest one to me. I get home, and find out that half of my rice is missing, and a couple of the entrees were wrong. But the best part of all is that they had the audacity to serve me this egg shell filled entree of pork fried rice. Every other scoop had a shell. Saturday night I went to the P.F. Chang's in Warrington with some friends it was my first time ever. I can't rant enough how amazing my entire experience was the server Jen was the sweetest and was very patient in answering questions giving advice and helping us all order. She did not rush us and was one step ahead of us our whole entire time there. She also must have over heard us say that one group members birthday was this week coming up and are had everyone sign a card and brought out a dessert. I have never had such a personalized experience at a restaurant in my life. However I'm giving 3 stars based on the inconsistent service which can either be very good or very bad. Listen! I have never been to P.F. Chang restaurants and was very skeptical of trying them out. My husband and I went to P.F. Chang in Warrington, P.A. Upon walking in, the hostess was very friendly and pleasant. The ambiance was beautiful and place was very clean. I was also greeted by the manager Mallorie, who was very welcoming as well. My husband and I ordered the Miso Salmon, fried rice, Asian salad, Lo Mein, Dynamite shrimp, Ginger chicken and some kind of dessert with apple cannoli's and vanilla pineapple/coconut ice cream. All the food was great. The Manager Mallorie and Waiter Joe was very insightful/informative on the food product, ingredients and how it was going to be prepared. When I say they were very accommodating and patient with us, that is an understatement. My husband is very picky and particular about foods and preparation. Our waiter Joe to say the least, was the best waiter I have EVER had. The highlight for me was, before I can ask for a refill, I literally was on my last swallow, he asked me if I wanted a refill on my drink. I asked "how did you know I needed a refill and took the words out of my mouth before saying it." He responded, "I heard the ice cling against the glass when you were finishing." I was impressed. His mannerisms, his smile, friendly small talk, very engaging. It seemed like he really loved his job at P.F. Chang. I would recommend Joe the Waiter/Bartender to anyone for great hospitality. I give this a 3 star rating because the appetizers and entree's (that I've been ordering since the last 10 years) really changed! Kung Pao chicken is always a winner, thick cubes of juicy chicken marinated in a sesame ginger glaze with a side of white rice. Ever ate at a restaurant where your food tasted like it was doused in Pine Oil? Well, I have and it was P.F. Chang's. Horrible experience. I ordered sweet and sour chicken along with crab wontons. First I tried the wontons. The crab wontons, alone were tasty and delicious. The dip on the other hand tasted like pine oil. I can still smell it in my nostrils. HORRIBLE. The sweet and sour chicken is something I won't forget soon. One bite was good, the next had a Pine Oil taste in the sweet and sour sauce. HORRIBLE. On top of that, the rice was dryer then the sahara desert. On the plus side, the soda was cold and the waitress was responsive when I said something about the taste. The manager took it off the check, according to the waitress. Manager never even came over to see what was wrong with the order. Just had take out, Omg the worst meal ever, it used to be pretty good but this was terrible. My son ordered sweet and sour chicken, my wife wanted the crispy green beans, and I wanted to get the kung pao scallops but they said they didn't have that on the menu.??? We are a regular client of PF Chang, William T McNabola and wife Yvonne Wessel. We lived for 20 years in Bear Delaware and came a lot of times to PF Chang in Delaware. Since one year we moved to Ann's Choice in Warminster, PA. Went a lot of times to PF Chang in Warminster. Since today 5/17/22 we had the worst experience in years. My husband had soup. This was cold and had to be heated. We ordered Miso glazed salmons and extra noodles. Salmon was with mushroom. They were very cold like frozen. Salmon and spinach, cold. Noodles very cold. They were heated up again. We always order wine and that was the only thing we had for lunch that was good. Manager came and got us warm lunch. Just put the lunch in front and no comment. read more

The things we do for family. When I agreed to go to dinner at a chain restaurant in the suburbs, my expectations were not high. Still, this place managed to disappoint. Things started off eh-ly when our party of eight was shoehorned into a table that would've been just fine for four or five. If you're going to be elbow-to-elbow with with your dining companions, it might as well be with your folks, but this made for quite a cramped meal when drinks and dishes had to be on the table. Any time anyone wanted to get up, everyone else had to stand up and dodge other patrons and an awkwardly-placed coatrack to let them out...and the room was really cold. Small, whiny details, I know, but taken together, it added up to an uncomfortable setting. After sampling my companion's sickly sweet Jade martini, I opted for ginger ale and water. I was happy to see that there's a vegetarian section on the menu and several appetizer options. We ordered the vegetable dumplings and fried green beans to start, and that's when things really started going awry. The dumplings were filled with a singularly unappetizing mealy gray paste, and the green beans were mushy and completely unseasoned - the sauce that accompanied them did have some welcome heat to it, though. When the main dishes came out, the server "auctioned off the food." This practice (you know, the "Who had the pasta? Chicken?" routine) kind of irks me anytime, but it really becomes difficult when the server doesn't know what the dishes are: "OK, who gets the ...ummmmm (inspects plate)...noodles? I think with shrimp?" Those noodles with veggies were overcooked and bland, bland, bland. Most of them came home with us in a doggie bag, and I think with some soy sauce, red pepper and scallions, they might be edible yet. My tofu was the highlight of the evening - crispy and chewy with a garlicky, flavorful brown sauce, although not nearly enough sauce for the plain, not-so-fresh broccoli that was also part of the dish. I like the mini dessert concept a lot, and the little layered desserts-in-a-glass look really cute, too. My red velvet tasted mostly like Philadelphia cream cheese and granulated sugar, but at least it was fun to eat. There were a number of other little service (forgotten drinks, not nearly enough rice at the table for eight people, awkward chatter) and food (moo shu served with tortillas, wtf) issues that detracted from the experience as well. I was nervous after some negative reviews regarding service, but I would easily give the service and waitstaff 5 stars. It was our first time, and we were seated immediately and attended to throughout the entire meal. Wait time wasn't an issue, especially considering we were there at 5:00 on a Saturday. We told out waiter it was out first time, and at the end of the meal we were given two 10 percent off coupons by the manager to use at another time. The food and portions were decent. For some reason, I always thought PF Changs was known for using very fresh ingredients and I thought the portions were going to be HUGE. I ordered the Shrimp and Lobster sauce. At PF changs, you have to know what to order in order for the food to be what you expect. DO NOT order any of the soups here-or you will be very disappointed. Only authentic Chinese restaurants can make good egg drop and hot and sour soup. The shrimp dumplings and key lime pie martinis are the reasons I keep coming back to Changs. The dumplings are phenomenal and even better than the ones at Buddakan. The other appetizer we had were the spring rolls-not great, but not bad. I think the next time I come, I will order the crab wontons. For my main entree I ordered the shrimp and vegetable lomein which was the best I have ever had and my husband ordered the crispy honey shrimp which was a little too sweet for my taste, but nevertheless, pretty good. This review is specific for the Warrington location. Had a pretty disappointing experience last night, and looking at recent reviews, this sadly does not seem to be an outlier. Restaurant was not very busy (it was a Tuesday) with plenty of booths open and they sat us at a middle table sandwhiched between 2 large family parties of 6 or more. Minor detail but first clue as to an "off" experience. Server can best be described as aloof - not that engaging, not that present and definitely not that concerned if our food was ok or we needed anything. The chicken lettuce wraps are typically consistently good, last night they were almost uneatable. The chicken was very fatty, and the portion just seemed like it was scooped out of a pan that had been sitting for a while...hard to describe but it all was stuck together in a form, as opposed to the typical "grainy" texture. It was hard to distinguish the chicken from the other ingredients, sort of like a mush. The mongolian beef was not as flavorful as usual and several pieces were very very well done and tough. Tried the shrimp with lobster sauce - I always have to "relearn" the lesson to stick to the basics here. First, there was probably a 25 minute gap from being finished with app to entrees appearing. The shrimp were tiny (would rather 3-5 nice size shrimp than 12 mini shrimp) and the entire dish had a congealed film over it -- it had obviously been sitting under lights for some time. Not surprisingly I was not impressed, it was bland and almost tasteless. I had to stand and peer into the kitchen in order to catch the attention of the waiter to ask for a check. As did the table next to me. Ridiculous. First time in recent memory we did not tip 20%, I didn't want to reinforce the poor service - we tipped closer to 18% - symbolic gesture, but overall the experience was poor and not a typical PF Changs experience. read more

They will quote you a 30 minute wait in the evening and then at 45 minutes call you a liar and say they said 55 minutes while rolling their eyes at you in front of your small child. I've eaten at PF Chang's in Princeton, NJ in the past and thought it pretty good. My wife and I met her sister at their restaurant in Warrington, PA last week. I must admit that I was rather disappointed relative to past experience. Granted, this is Americanized Chinese but at the same time when you request a dish labeled "hot and spicy" on the menu to be extra spicy only to have what is served barely luke warm on my scale of hot, I guess they're cooking for those who only think that they like hot food? It took two complete little dishes of crushed pepper hot sauce to get it warmed up to get onto the scale that I wanted it. Oh well... The server, however, was quite accommodating when it came to getting me more hot pepper sauce and the service was good despite the restaurant being full to capacity for lunch that day (MLK Day). read more

I tend to always make a reservation when coming here. It is so super easy since you can do it online. I made a reservation and came with my dad and fiancé on a Friday night. We started our meal with the dynamite shrimp and their new butternut squash dumplings. Both were AWESOME! The butternut squash dumplings were just a right amount of sweet and savory and the shrimp had just enough sauce on them. As an entree I ordered Chicken Lo Mein, my dad ordered Beef á la Sichuan, and my fiancé ordered the Walnut Shrimp with Melon. All of the entrees were great. My Lo Mein was such a spot hitter and my dads beef was a good accompaniment. My favorite was the Walnut Shrimp. The sauce, melon, shrimp and walnuts were such a great combination! What could have been a bad evening ended up being good thanks to our server. We drove an hour to come here after having only been to PF Chang's in Boston. The meal we had in Boston was when we were starving and exhausted, so we were anxious to see if the food was so good because of the circumstances or because it's good. Made reservations, were seated immediately, the restaurant was relatively busy for a Monday. It took a really long time for our appetizer to come out, we were really hungry, but not complainers. Without us saying anything we were told that our appetizer was taken care of by the manager due to the wait, it was a nice surprise. We were seated near a teenage boy's birthday party and a crying baby. I could see from my seat that the people in the kitchen were screwing off. Our poor server seemed a little agitated by another table and the kitchen, he was obviously having a bad night and trying not to neglect us despite everything going on. Our entrees were held up by the kitchen nonsense too, between our appetizers and entrees the manager came over and offered us an "extra" plate of sesame chicken that the kitchen made by mistake, free of charge. We gladly accepted. The food was good, when they say spicy they mean not really that spicy, I'd call it corporate spicy. The mixed drinks were sweet, but fun, I really enjoyed the black tea gimlet. The mini-desserts are a great idea, I got the chocolate peanut butter crunch. We made sure to tip our server extra since he tried so hard, he came back over to thank us, really nice guy. Overall I would say if you just want Chinese food, get it from a local place, but if you want a night out with Chinese food, come here. read more

I had gone to PF Chang's in Boston a while back but haven't been to another one since then, so when I went to visit a friend in PA and she suggested going here I was excited. The service was excellent. She asked right off the bat if anyone had any food allergies/restrictions that should know about (I mentioned that I was vegan) and she directed me to the vegetarian section on the menu. She was very attentive to our table, but not overly annoying and made sure that are drinks were re-filled. I ordered the Coconut Curry Vegetables and it was delicious. Took about 45mins to get a table, but it wasn't their fault at all, they were slammed. Once we got to our table we were greeted by our server and placed our drink orders... My drink wasn't really all that good, it's hard to mess up a Moscow mule... But when you use bottom shelf vodka and charge top shelf prices, that'll happen. The food was what you'd expect from a pfchangs... Good, standard quality Chinese food. Nothing was knock your socks off good, but nothing was bad. The only real struggle we had was getting our drink refilled as the waitress was pretty busy I guess. My girlfriend and I love pfchangs. However we waited over an hour for our food, and when it came my pad Thai had dirt in it, quite literally DIRT. I bit in and it was like having a mouthful of sand where you can hear and feel the grains. I can agree with some of the reviews that give this place poor reviews for the service, though I've only been here twice, and called once, the service was bad twice, and average once. I can't really understand why people go there other than there are no other decent options and/or people just don't know any better. What I cannot agree with is the food being good. I eat ALOT of Asian food (Wife is Chinese, her kid's grandmother is Thai) and this stuff isn't Asian food. It's not even close. I tried twice, the first time was so bad, I stayed away for nearly a year, but I figured maybe I had a bad experience and that I was being too harsh. The second time was just as bad, so I think I'm being fair in saying the food is just not very good. If you want a decent Asian dining experience outside of Philadelphia Chinatown, Try Golden City on 309. It's pretty good. If you don't mind the drive, You really can't miss in Chinatown. I will not be coming back here. First off, my table had to wait for over an hour to even get our orders taken. It took 15 minutes to even have our drinks brought out to us. We had to seek out the manager for the horrible service, and after requesting help, he was less than enthusiastic to help us. I always have a good experience at PF Chang's. I've been several times although this was my first trip to this particular location. This was also T's first trip to a PF Chang's. We had the lettuce wraps, crab wontons, orange beef and kung pao scallops. Everything was really good, I particularly liked the orange beef. Our waiter was a bit of a no-show at first but he shaped up and drink refills were prompt. He also mixed a great spicy sauce with the soy, mustard and chili sauce. Delicious on the lettuce wraps. Yes, it's a chain but I feel it's one of the better ones. A great place to go with a group because you'll get to try several dishes. I'm a big fan of trying everything so I love places where this is encouraged and I don't have to pick off of people's plates.
