We order from this place often (like once a week often) and something is always wrong but they're nice people and we never wanted to complain. Food is pretty good but it is extremely inconsistent and you really never know what you're going to get. We've been told they're too busy to give us a special that is advertised on their menu. We've ordered dishes packed in the wrong containers to the point that they spilled and leaked all over the bags and other containers. We've ordered breaded shrimp that has been cooked in the shells but isn't meant to. And we've never once complained. Tonight was different... We placed a fairly normal order for our house, paid $60 on cc and tipped $10 in cash. We don't care how long the food takes to arrive but this time everything hot arrived ice cold. No sauces for the side. Our kani salad had lettuce instead of cucumber. We've never complained and really didn't want to but tonight a call was made. After many excuses and "yeah okays" we were offered $3 off our next order. This is flat out insulting after the amount of orders and dollars spent over just the last few months. This offer was declined and we told the woman on the phone we would order else where going forward. A few minutes later we received a call from the woman who delivered our food. She was pleasant and told us she had just returned to the restaurant and was told to call us. She offered us $10 off our next order but continued on the excuses train that were fed to her. (None of this was her fault and we truly stand by that statement-cold and incorrect food has nothing to do with the driver). All in all, we're very disappointed. We've had a good handful of bad experiences with Sunny Asian Cuisine but we enjoyed the place enough that we kept ordering but their complete lack of customer service broke us this time and we will never be ordering again. It was date night for my 4 year old daughter and I and we really wanted Chinese food. We decided here because it is super close by and also a new place to try. The restaurant was vacant minus the employees and one other diner. An occasional person came In to pick up food. I heard most of those people complain about the price but I have nothing to compare it too since it was our first time. Also apparently new prices don't reflect on the menu but there is a sign hanging up with the notice or change in prices due to pandemic. We ordered our food quickly and it arrived quickly. It tasted really good and the server was friendly. The woman working the phones was also pleasant enough. We will be eating here again soon! read more

I absolutely love this place. It's just a little "hole in the wall", and you could drive right past it, but the food is out of this world. Now, don't get me wrong, it isn't anything fancy, but it goes above and beyond when you're craving that typical Chinese meal! Sunny is also BYO, so you can spruce up your Chinese with a little wine! In addition, the sushi is spot on and always fresh! And I can't say enough about the owner, she's an amazing lady who always makes sure you're happy with your meal! read more

This used to be my favorite go to sushi place, and I have given them a lot of my business regularly (once a week or so) for the last 3.5 years. Recently, their attentiveness to orders has dropped dramatically, and they tend to forget at least one portion of the order every other time I order. When my husband called to remind them of drinks they forgot, the woman on the phone just blurted she was sorry and hung up on him. It's frustrating because this place used to be awesome with orders, and the food is still really good! I just think the customer service and order fulfillment needs some extra attention before I order again. read more

Spicy tuna roll is yummy. I usually get the chicken and broccoli it's well done. This restaurant is one of the few in the area that deliver. Which of course is always a plus! read more

Excellent Food and Service! My family eats faithfully at Sunny's to the point Fanny (the owner) knows what we'll be ordering as soon as we walk through the door. I have never had a bad meal here and I have suggested Sunny's to friends and family. This past Christmas Eve Sunny's came through after a group of 23 from our church had reservations at another local Chinese Restaurant and left us stranded. Chinese Cuisine Meal. I gave this a 4 star based on the entrees, generous proportions and quick delivery. Both the seafood and vegetables in the Seafood were cooked well. The Ginger and Scallion with the Chef's Special Sauce was tasty. Not so successful was the soups (Egg Drop, Won-ton, Hot and Sour). Best way to describe is that they were gelatinous. Spring Rolls lacked sufficient filling and were not a crisp fry. I certainly will visit again, just be a bit more careful in what I order. read more

First time eating delivery from here. The General tso chicken was cooked well and quality chicken. It could've been spicier for my taste and had probably too much sauce. I've had better egg rolls. a minute ago I tried to call in a takeout order. The person who answered the phone seemed to have difficulty with the phone. After asking for my order her end of the conversation was peppered with "Hello?" "Hello?", interrupting my attempt to give her my order. She abruptly put me on hold. When she came back to the phone she read some of my order back to me, and asked for my phone number. I have an out of state number, an area code that was unfamiliar to her. She repeated back the local area code for confirmation. My attempt to provide the correct area code was met with her talking over me with her "Hello?" "Hello?" and hanging up on me. After a few minutes I called back and immediately received the "Hellos." No attempt was made to take my order. I hung up and ordered from another restaurant. Within 5 minutes I received two hang-up calls coming from Sunny's number. A third call asked if I had called with an order; they were ready to take it..... I don't know what was going on at their end, but it did not instill confidence in me of their ability to prepare my order. There are too many other options out there to struggle to order food. read more

I believe leaving positive feedback is important, as people are more likely to leave a negative review when something goes wrong than they are to leave a positive review when things go smoothly. So I really like to leave positive reviews. In this case, I can't. The prices were competitive. The food was just okay, but acceptable. The customer service, however, was truly terrible. Nothing short of just plain rude. I ordered online through GrubHub, and requested that pork fried rice be substituted for the white rice that came with my General Tso's chicken entree. I didn't think it would be an issue, because there is a General Tso's chicken combination platter that comes with your choice of either white or pork fried rice that cost about the same price. A woman from the restaurant called me a few minutes later to hurriedly and abruptly tell me there were no substitutions, followed by a perfunctory "Sorry." I annoyed her (I'm guessing, by the tone of her voice), by politely pointing out the same entree as part of a platter comes with a choice of rice. She again repeated harshly, "No substitutions!" Okay. I asked if I could have the pork fried rice as a side. She said, "Yeah, sure, $5.95" (I think that's what she said. She said it so fast). Then she slammed down the phone without even asking me if that price was even acceptable. I would have been happy if someone had taken a few moments to politely explain there were no substitutions, even simple ones. I think this is bad policy, but that doesn't matter: if that's the restaurant's policy, you accept it or take your business elsewhere. I would have been happy if they'd politely explained that they could make the substitution for an additional price, and then given me even a second to respond. Hey, I would have been happy if they would have been polite at all! But barking at me, spouting out their price to "favor" me with a request, and then hanging up and charging me that price without my ever even having a chance to say yes or no, is rude and unacceptable. So, skip this place. The food is on par with any ordinary Chinese takeout place, but their treatment of customers is insulting. You have several choices; don't make the mistake of giving your money to this business. read more

I don't like leaving bad reviews, but when a meal is so bad you get anything else a bad review is needed. The tofu in the hot and sour soup was dried out and crumbly, felt like ash in my mouth. The wontons while huge were all dough, literally out of the three in my bowl 2 had not filling. The chicken with eggplant had very little sauce, and the chicken was rubbery as if it had been microwaved. I tried to feed it to my dog but even he didn't want it. Ended up trashing the food and going to McDonald's. Won't be going back to Sumny's anytime soon read more

General Tsos Chicken. Barely average. Nice chunks of white meat but lacking good flavor. And the salmon and rice roll wrapped in rice. It's just a regular salmon roll, but, well with extra rice. I go there quite often. The food is very good and the woman who owns it is very pleasant.

I have never had an issue ordering at this establishment, and have always been greeted by a friendly face. This has been my go-to asian takeout place for a few years now. While its not the greatest food, its better than most Asian takeout in the area. Maybe a little high-priced, but still very reasonable. Their variety of food offered is also a selling point, as there's much variety. Not top of the line cuisine of course, but reliable and tasty. I definitely suggest the Chicken Pad Thai! read more

(Prior GrubHub orders came well under the estimated time). Come 6:50 I called for a status update (fiance had to leave for work and needed dinner). The lady who answered the phone, asked for the address, and said it was on the way. She was quick to get off the phone. Maybe 5 mins later the driver arrived. He was very nice.
