We are back for another round of taste testing at our newest try! Austin, our server, was hands down the best server we have had in quite some time. He was personable, polite, helpful, and professional. We had the egg rolls, the pan fried pork dumplings, cucumber salad, sesame chicken, house salads, firecracker shrimp, beef with broccoli, brown rice, and red velvet cake. Egg rolls-phenomenal. I liked the hot mustard sauce, but at the suggestion of Austin we also tried the sweet and sour and both were very good! Dumplings- not as good as the first time, but still really good! Sesame chicken- phenomenal Beef with broccoli- phenomenal Firecracker shrimp was not for me, but would be great for you if you really like shrimp in Asian cuisine typically, I like shrimp a lot but this one had a very strong seafood flavor and I wasn't very keen on that. This was my first time to a P.F. Chang's and it was for my birthday! We had a party of 6 with a 7 o'clock reservation. We were seated immediately and within a minute or two our server arrived to introduce himself. Jeffrey was probably the best part of our experience there. He has worked there for 9 years, having been a cook and also a server during that time. He's very knowledgeable about the menu and offered lots of helpful information to help us make our decisions. (It was the first time at P.F. Chang's for everyone in the party) The food came out much quicker than I expected given how busy they were. Every single dish we ordered was not only visually beautiful but it was so delicious! I am an eggplant lover and was excited to see they had eggplant stir fry! It's included on the vegetarian menu and as a non-vegetarian, it was a great choice!!! I had a couple friends recommend the lettuce wraps and my daughter tried them and loved them. For birthdays they bring explosives to your table. Not really.. but they DO bring a sparkler which makes for a great birthday celebration photo. They also allow the birthday guest to choose from their dessert menu, which has some really great options! I asked Jeffrey to surprise me as I couldn't decide. He brought the banana spring rolls. We haven't been to PF Chang's in quite some time for no specific reason, it just hasn't popped into the rotation. This particular restaurant is one of the better ones. Just meh. We had a gift card to use, so we stopped in for lunch. I will say I like the appetizers here probably the best. The lettuce wraps are good and I got the dynamite shrimp, and I wish I would've gotten that as my meal. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken with fried rice ($4 up charge for fried) and it ended up coming with brown rice. I was not going to request a redo, I just let our server know so that I wouldn't be charged the up charge, and her have to re-do our checks. She was kind enough to bring me a to go fried rice and comp it off my bill, which was not necessary but appreciated. I think it was just a mistake from the kitchen. I did like dynamite shrimp and the fried rice was okay, but not really worth it for your money honestly. Our server Candace was really great. She was very kind, efficient and understanding about the issue we had. I think the kitchen was a little slow but she was on it. Fantastic Aroma and flavor of KUNG PAO BRUSSEL SPROUTS (Wok Charred, peanuts, cayenne chilli pods and Kung Pao Sauce (like plumb sauce) is tasty, flavorful, beautifully presented, good sized for hearty appetites, only $9 (370 calories. Add in from DIM SUM portion of menu: Hand folded crab wontons and you have plenty full eater. I wasn't expecting fried fried batter outside but that is all good. More like Crab Rangoons with more crab than creamy (or cream cheese in Crab Rangoons) but not as overly sweet. Again more of flavor of minced Crab comes through more in this iteration. Nicely sweetened plum sauce to smear in or over. Nice combination of flavor groups. Everyone else's dishes had equally as nice presentation, and feedback. The fried rice had nice shimmer of moisture and therefore has more flavor than standard fried rice's from take outs. Nice atmosphere. This particular P.F. Chang's had gotten off to a rocky start from the first day it opened. However, I truly believe they are finally on the upswing and starting to improve their staff and speed which was the main complaint for most. My husband and I came in for a late dinner and were greeted by a friendly hostess right away and seated promptly. The restaurant wasn't on a wait but had quite a nice crowd eating and at the bar. Our server was very attentive and helped us decide what to order. We ordered the Poke bowl as an appetizer to share and the Mongolian Beef and Crispy Honey Shrimp as our entrees. We were surprised how quickly our food came out. I didn't expect it since that had been a main problem at this location but like I mentioned before, it seems like they worked it out . Our food was absolutely delicious. I could eat that Poke Bowl for lunch and be very happy. The Mongolian Beef was served with long scallions that looked like green beans. I didn't expect them to be served like that but it added a nice flavor to the dish. The Crispy Honey Shrimp were just as delicious as the name sounds. So so yummy! I'm glad we gave P.F. The new fish arrived 45 mins later and the manager did not apologize nor did she make any conciliatory actions for the health safety issues of the food served or the delay of my time at all. I asked was there something small that could be done given I had been there over an hour and ultimately she removed the Sea Bass from my bill with a smirk and an eye roll. I tipped my server handsomely and left. I eat at PF Chang's fairly regularly and have never received undercooked Sea Bass or such an arrogant response from their staff. We eat here fairly frequently and have never had bad service or bad food. The environment is comfortable as long you're sitting in a booth. On our last couple visits, we've noticed the portions have decreased significantly since previous visits, yet the price is still the same. You still get a huge bowl of rice, but the entrees are lunch size portions at dinner prices. We have always enjoyed eating here, but have been very disappointed with the cut back on the quantity of the entrees. This makes eating dinner there less appealing. read more

I was passing through and decided to order online. I liked the fact that you can select chopsticks, silverware and plates. Also the app allowed me to customize my order. I'm allergic to onions so this was great! Picked up my order and the host reviewed my details on the order (attached to bag). He had to add a plate and the silverware as they were left out. I asked for napkins and he said he didn't have any. I asked him to make sure there were no onions and he said there were none. I left and got back on the road. Shortly thereafter I stopped to eat my $10.50 plate of ahi poke salad. It was served in a plastic container which was fine since it was raw tuna. However, for the price I was shocked at the qty of food provided. I rcvd a bag of six crisps and only needed four as I ran out of poke. Did I mention that I had to deconstruct the salad to fish out the onions and the mangoes that were touching them? I truly hope this is not your choice for "fine dining". If I could rate this place a zero I certainly would. We were sat and we waited about 7 minutes for someone to even acknowledge us and ask us what we wanted to drink. After that our waitress was great and kept checking on us. What I want to talk about here is the sushi. I had the spicy tuna roll and it tasted like it was rolled in chemicals to the point I had to send it back. After that I did not order anything to replace it. I also ordered the wonton soup and it came out to the table room temperature at best. I should have listened to my fellow yelpers when something is 2.5 stars you should steer clear of it. Needless to say we should have figured something was up when we walked in on a Friday at 7:45 pm and there was no wait. We won't be back and I don't recommend it. Even my boyfriend said "your tuna roll doesn't look right". I will say the service was good after the initial 10 minute wait for drinks. My favorite thing was the shrimp dumplings. The calamari Was crisp and light. The veggies that were fried with it were different but tasty. The crab rangoon were very good but I did not like the sauce. The sushi was OK. The spicy tuna roll had a good flavor. They brought us Mini desserts for my son's birthday. I was very disappointed because I asked if they could sing Happy Birthday and the waiter said everyone was busy. It also took a long time to get the check and pay. My fiancé and I ended up at P.F. Chang's in Winston Salem hoping for a bite to eat, after we went to 5 other restaurants that night, all with a wait of an hour or more. Before coming here, I was looking at the reviews and we were both a little hesitant but we were basically at the end of the restaurant list for the area, so we went with it. And we were NOT disappointed at all. We sat at the full-service bar (which was almost empty, however the dining room was full) and were immediately greeted by the attentive bar tender. We ordered drinks and two appetizers (crab wontons & dynamite shrimp) and they were delicious. So fresh!! Next for our appetizers we got the Kung Pao Chicken and Honey Chicken, both FANTASTIC. Made reservations for 6:30 on a Saturday. Got there a few minutes early. Hostess told us we'd be seated in a few minutes. Got text the table was ready just a few minutes after 6:30. Waitress was at the table less than a minute after we were seated. We put in our apps and drink order and had both very quickly (less than 5 minutes). Both the chicken lettuce wrap and dynamite shrimp apps were excellent. Our entrées were held up by about 10 minutes because of how busy they were, but our waitress kept us posted and the food was definitely worth the wait.
