The food is a solid 4 stars. This is the best Chinese food in Mocksville, perhaps Davie county. Dynasty has been open longer than I have lived in the Piedmont Triad (greater than 20 years). It's odd because ever since Covid, there are hardly any cars in the parking lot. I assume a significant portion of their business is take out. We dined in and were the only customers during the entire time we ate. The New T chicken, General Tso and Sesame chicken are damn good. The best deals are the combos, which gives you the entree, fried rice and egg roll. You can add chicken wings for a nominal up-charge. Note, the Coke products come from a can. The ambiance is rough. The dining room chairs and tables are very ornate. The dining room furniture hasn't changed from my review back in 2012. The seat cushions still have the original plastic covers on them. It looks like they are using a section of the dining room for storage. In the past Dynasty provided homemade hot mustard and chili oil. Both were great. When I asked for this the last time, I was give packets. Very disappointing. Not sure if they stopped making it from scratch or if there was a language barrier between me and the waitress. Overall, the food is very good. Just have to overlook the in-dining aspects. read more

Place smelled terrible. Was dated and had a damp smell to it. I was the only person in the restaurant, so I probably should have picked up on that fact alone. I had a really sweet waitress though that made sure I had everything I needed. It just didn't feel like a clean place though. So I only had my soup and then left. I love this place! My parents have been eating here for YEARS! We usually order take out, but when dining in, the service is always great. I've not ever gotten anything that I didn't like, and I'm pretty picky! I'm an appetizer freak...the dumplings and spring rolls are WONDERFUL! Dry spicy chicken OH MY!! The scallion chicken is delicious, and they have a very comfortable dining room. Dynasty is perhaps Davie County's closest thing to "fine dining" as there are white tablecloths and linen napkins. There is rarely anyone eating in, despite the excellent service I always receive. The prices are very competitive and they do great carry out, fast. Dynasty also offers Teriyaki and Hibachi options for those seeking Japanese flair. Currently, they are open later than most restaurants around here--until 9:30 p.m. All the staff are very friendly and conscientious. read more

On our way back home from visiting family on Christmas day we were looking for any place that we could stop to eat a meal for lunch. After searching and finding this establishment on yelp we decided without even reading the reviews this would do we were hungry and it was time to eat. As we pulled up we were worried about the look of the surrounding area. As we entered we were quickly greeted by a very friendly staff the establishment was extremely clean and well lit! The prices were very fair for the amount of food you received. Everything came out hot fresh and tasted delicious! We were greeted by many different staff members all welcoming us and thanking us for coming in and wishing us a merry Christmas! The absolute worst customer service I have ever had at a restaurant. Ordered take out on Christmas night. Understandably a busy day. However, I ordered a scallion chicken combo at 7:06pm and my husband headed over to pick up. He had been waiting a while so at 7:40 I call to ask when the order will be ready. The girl I spoke with on the phone told me she had no idea when it would be ready and proceeded to just hand the phone to a young male who just said hello. I placed an order 40 minutes ago when will the order be ready with no response again. After continuing to ask I was finally told 30 more minutes and a laugh. In the mean time my husband is texted me saying in the hour he has been there only one order has been Sent out and there are people who had been waiting a hour and half already. This is pathetic considering my husband witnessed them turning their phones off and absolutely no ordered being made. When order was finally ready 1 hour and 34 minutes later my husband asked for some white sauce and the lady at the checkout said it would be 3 dollars. No apology for the long wait with no explanation, no offer of trying to make up for it and as meek when my husband said as long as I don't have to wait on the sauce I'll pay for it. This place will never get my business again! My parents have been customers there since I was a small child. This is absolutely pathetic. You have lost my business Dynasty and I will be sure to share with everyone how poor of service you display. Please train your staff to have some compassion. i whent to this restaurant picked my food up. then i realized that im missing food. so i called the restaurant and told them i was missing food and then looked down and realized that wasnt pepper floating in my soup..... the whole top of my soup was gnats floating in the top of my soup.... Went there for the first time today. Comfortable chairs and a lovely clean room. I had the Spicy Mongolian Pork lunch with fried rice and an egg roll for $6.25. Serving size was adequate for lunch, and it was all very very good. The old and awful drop ceiling tiles took away from an otherwise wonderful experience. read more

We occasionally frequent this restaurant , and enjoy the atmosphere and friendly staff. The food is always good, much better than the takeout Chinese place nearby. Don't expect gourmet food, just good, reasonably priced meals. It's never crowded, a lot of their business is takeout. It is a small family business, which I prefer. read more

Family and I have lived in mocksville for a few years and finally got around to try this place,the server was part owner and her service was fantastic.we got the scallion crispy chicken which came with rice and an egg roll along with wonton soup, the soup was very tasty and the best wonton soup I have had,the chicken had a nice crunch , the rice was above average for taste and the egg roll was a bit greasy but it was ok.the plate of food was served with too much brown sauce for me, the sauce drowned the meal and tasted to sweet, all along we were eating the homemade duck sauce with the fried dough which was very good. We also got an order of dumplings both fried and steamed which had above average mystery meat inside, Our server gave us free crab wonton which only my wife and I ate. Unfortunately ,because maybe my wife and I were the only ones who ate the crab wonton and dumplings, my wife got sick and I had a horrible stomach ache when we got home which just crushed our experience there. Or could have just been us but I don't think so, my daughter was fine she didn't eat any crab wonton or dumplings so who knows, anyway if we return I'm just going to order the soup which was epic read more

Was pleasantly surprised to find a Chinese restaurant that does not have the menu on the wall as you walk in. Seems like good Chinese is hard to find in NC and I personally do not consider PF Changs good Chinese. A bowl of fried noodles and sweet and sour sauce were brought to us when we sat down. They were quite tasty. I ordered a combo dinner which came with wonton soup. The soup was very good. The broth was flavorful and the wonton perfect. I added the fried noodles to it and could have made that my meal. My entree was twice cooked spicy pork with veggies. It was really yummy and the pork was tender. My hubby ordered gen Tsos chicken made with white meat. The chicken was cooked extra crispy like he likes it. Mine also came with an egg roll and chicken wings. All seemed fresh and were cooked properly. The only thing I was not crazy about was the fried rice that came with my entree. It was that artificial yellow color and was tasteless. I would definitely go back and would like to try some other menu items. The menu is very long and has some dishes which sound very interesting.
