Spicing is a bit inconsistent. I like my Thai kicked up a notch, and usually order "3 chili" or "4 chili" spicy. Yesterday we had lunch there and despite ordering 3 chili's my Basil Chicken dish (the #40) was pretty tame. Still very flavorful, but nowhere near as spicy as the last time I ordered it. I suspect different chefs in the kitchen have differing opinions of what spicy means. Still very enjoyable, not altering my rating at all, but just be aware that there may be not-so-subtle differences on any given day. read more

I've eaten at Pac Thai several times. It's a cozy little spot in Forest Grove. I mostly get take out, and I always get plenty of food. I first heard of Pac Thai through my daughter, she raves about their crab fried rice. I don't think the crab fried rice is the best I've had, but I love their vegan curries! I love that their menus actually note which dishes are vegan. The staff has always been friendly and welcoming. I saw on someone else's review to try the Pumpkin Curry, which I haven't yet...but fully intend on trying ASAP! read more

Went to Pac Thai to redeem my coupon for a free Thai Tea For checking into their Yelp page. Had a taste of the Pad See Ew and Drunken Noodles, and they were mediocre, nothing special. The spiciness was representative of the verbal description: hot was hot, and very hot was very hot. That is you can taste the differences in spiciness according to what you have ordered which is a plus. However, I would not return here unless I was lazy enough to not travel out of Forest Grove for some Thai cuisine and if I had extra pocket change for the pricey menu. read more

This is partly a review of Pac Thai, and partly a review of you awesome folks from Yelp who've eaten here. You ROCK. Okay, enough about you... My friend and I wanted something that wasn't pub food or unhealthy, and I did what I always do when I'm out of town -- I went online. Pac Thai had pretty good reviews, and so we gave it a shot. It's got a non-descript storefront, nothing special -- although not for nothing but the entire street smells of bacon... go figure... Anyhoo, in we went -- the folks who work there greeted us so warmly, and we were seated right away. My friend had a red curry vegetarian special with tofu and said it was amazing. I had the drunken noodles, and thought they were excellent. My beef (no pun) with drunken noodles is that they're supposed to be spicy, but some places really go overboard so you don't enjoy the flavor what with all the hallucinating from the heat. This place got the perfect balance between flavor and slight heat. Really delicious. So glad we stumbled on this place -- if ever I'm back here I sure plan to come back again! read more

We stopped to grab some Pad Thai while driving thru Forest Grove, and were happily impressed! We ordered a Chicken Pad Thai, Chicken Drunken Noodle and Gyoza to share. The flavor of the drunken noodle was one of the best I've had around the Portland Metro. The chicken was fresh and in nice bite size pieces throughout. My fiancé loved the Pad Thai very much, scarfed it down so fast. The gyoza were very crispy and had a wonderful pork flavor inside. The entree portions were very large, I had enough drunken noodles to eat 3 times! The only thing that I'm very sad about, is that we got them both medium, and they were VERY spicy. The pad Thai especially, so I couldn't share it with him. It was definitely HOT! It was so hot that my fiancé had his nose leaking. I will order a mild for myself the next time we go, and he will be ordering a medium instead of hot. read more

The portions are huge, the quality is decent. This isn't my favorite thai place in the world but for a college town, it's great. A dinner portion of curry is a good 3 meals' worth, and is almost as good reheated as fresh. Visited Forest Grove and needed a quick dinner and ordered Spicy noodle soup, coconut milk soup, and beef noodle soup. Spicy noodle had a ton of seafood and was excellent! My girls also loved their soups! Will definitely eat here again!!! read more

There pad Thai I good but more often then not very dry idk how that is even possible unless they sit It under heat lamps for an hour which is not really possible since I pick my order up within 10 minutes for the most part it's good it's the only Thai food place around me so I'm stuck with it if my pad Thai wasn't dry I would give it five stars read more

This was authentic upscale Thai food. The pumpkin curry offered a pleasant amount of flavor and heat. The the chicken satay and the peanut and sweat and sour sauces were homemade. The hospitality was nice and the seasonal mango and sticky rice took me right back to Songkran. read more
