I want to be completely transparent about my experience. I got a bad tear in my tire after hitting a metal pipe on Archer Avenue. The tire wouldn't hold air, and Pacheco's was nearby, so I stopped in. I was told the tire couldn't be repaired, which I understood. They said they had one tire in my size, used, for $80. Given the situation, I felt pressured but went ahead with it. To be fair, the tire was a Continental and appeared to be in very good condition--solid tread, no visible issues. I was even told that this tire was "gold," hard to come by, and that I had lucked out. Three days later, I decided to replace all four tires at another shop. Since Pacheco's had spoken so highly of the tire they sold me, I figured I'd sell it back. When I returned, I was told to speak with the owner. That's where things took a turn. The owner looked at the tire and said he would give me $5, claiming it wasn't perfect and that they have plenty of these in stock. That directly contradicted everything I was told just days earlier. When I questioned it, the response was essentially "$5 or nothing." So which is it? A rare, valuable tire--or one worth five bucks? I walked away disappointed and honestly disgusted by the dishonesty. I kept the tire as a spare since it's apparently "not perfect." This kind of inconsistency and misrepresentation is not good business practice, especially when someone is already dealing with an emergency. I hope others pay close attention. Don't take advantage of customers in vulnerable situations, and don't say one thing only to completely reverse it later. Trust matters. read more

I've used this service for many years and WAS pleased. However yesterday I went py to have what looked like a nail. There was no leak. A small not puncture nail was identified. An elderly Mexican man said my tire was no good and tried to sell me a tire. I just wanted the tire plugged. I told him I was going to buy tires later but not from his shop. He became angry and told my to leave the shop and don't come back. I'm a senior citizen, army disabled veteran and African American. Again he just went off! I suspect he was angry because an old woman didn't go along with his manipulation. I paid $20 for the tire plug after talking to a younger Hispanic male at the shop. If you are female be aware that this shop may discriminate and try to manipulate you to buy a tire if you come there to merely have a potential flat fixed. NOT PLEASE AT HOW I WAS TREATED! read more

Maps, says they close at 3pm. I got there at 2:30 today while they were still working on another car. Worker came up to me and said "we are now closing" and walks away. All I needed was my tire patched! Didn't even give me the opportunity to speak before he turned his back on me and left. Will never support a business like this! Unbelievable. read more

I was told to pull my car into garage. Young man helped me out quickly. He repaired my tire swapped tires. Prompt service, reasonable price. Paid cash. Took my car there for low rear tire. Roberto ( was told his name when I returned) took tire off, said plug & valve were no good and needed to be replaced. Charged $$ for "REPAIR". After being parked for 2 days tire was flat. Returned today to complain and was told they never did any work on my car. Then told me the plug on tire was not the kind used at their shop. So basically I paid$$ to have my tire removed & replaced without any repairs. Wow!! Shame on these people for taking advantage of a 65 yr old female. Avoid this place!! read more

I came here the other day on a whim because my tire was low and I was hoping to get a repair. The entire thing took maybe 15 mins and my tire is good as new. Flat tire? Dang, it! When the wait at Firestone is too much (which it always is), run to Pacheco next to the car wash and get it fixed in 10 minutes. They also sell used tires, which can save you hundreds. I got a flat tire while driving my whole family and rolled in to Pacheco to get it fixed. And guess what? They fixed my flat while my whole family was still in the car, they even changed the TV channel in the shop so my little girl can watch cartoons while waiting. OH Dear Lord WHY???!!!! Do I have the worst luck with tires!!!! So it happened again.... I got a flat. As I was ready to speed off to work I noticed my car not running as usual.... Well what do you know I got a nail stuck in my tire. Since I live near Midway airport I called my Fiance and asked him where can I get a quick fix for my tire. He told me to go here.... and I'm glad I did!!! They usually open at 8:30am but I was there early. Luckily there was someone there and he was able to fix my flat before they opened. My 2014 Mercedes GL 550 truck had two flat tires. These guys were quick, detailed and reasonably priced. If you have a flat tire try to make it to these guys. They will get you in and out in no time. After a week, my tires are still holding up great. Remember to get a receipt before driving away. You are guaranteed a 30-day warranty. They do patch work, install new or used tires. After a stressful day at work, found my car had a flat. I was able to get it to a gas station for some air. There definitely was an issue since the tire pressure kept going down. I found Pacheco's on Yelp. Got there right before closing time. They were friendly and efficient. They patched my tire in 15 minutes. I live in the neighborhood where this tire shop is located. I have been going there for years and I will no longer go there. I would rather search for another tire shop even if I have to go further away. They overcharge compared to other tire shops and fooled me into believing I needed a tire balancing even though my tires are so worn down that balancing is no longer practical. An employee of the place pulled me aside and said: " For the record, your tires are so worn out that you didn't need that balancing. But the owner doesn't care and wont tell you that because he just wants the business" I paid 60 dollars for a tire rotation and an extra 20 for the unneeded balancing. They are just like so many auto repair shops who prey on the customers like me that don't know any better. You live and learn I guess. read more
