I have my concerns. I placed an online order several weeks ago and my order still says pending. I've tried calling and emailing, but haven't been able to get in touch with anyone. I'm hoping someone will contact me soon- I don't mind if things aren't in stock or there is another reason for the delay, but honest and prompt communication would be better. Everything is great about this warehouse of beautiful glass. I'm make stained glass candle holders and I can find everything I need at this amazing store. The service is always completely friendly and always helpful, and because I've become kind of a regular I get a little bit of a discount which brings the value up even more. Unfortunately, they are closing this store and opening a new one in Los Alamitos to facilitate the shorter commute, and I don't blame him one bit. Not covid safe and didn't work on my order. So disappointed I had used pacific artglass before to buy some unique glass supplies, but this time it was totally different. I placed an order on Friday dec 19 for them to sand blast some glass tubing for me. I asked if i could pick the order up the next day, but the gentleman asked if I'd be willing to pick it up Monday instead. I told him that was fine and told him that since it is an hour drive for me each way, I'd rather it be done then rush it. Today, I showed up, and not only did neither employee have a mask on, they both did not even try to put one on. Furthermore, they looked me in the eyes and said "i didn't do it". I asked why, and they just said "i just didn't, shoot i know this was a long drive for you". That is just not a way to do business. read more

We drive a couple hours each way to get most of our glass and supplies for our fused glass and mosaic projects. They have the biggest selection around with the best pricing for buying larger sheets of glass and they don't mind cutting pieces down for you. They always have the friendliest staff and will go above and beyond to help you find what you're looking for and show you things you didn't even realize existed. We get large round dichroic glass pieces as well as dichroic laser cut outs, scrap and noodles as well as fritt, stringers, spray, kiln paper, cutters and molds. We only make it in a couple times a year and it's always a doozie when we do! But it's worth the expenditure every time! You can't beat these bulk prices and the selection is everything! We only ever regret not buying something. And sometimes they have special deals like inventory from someone's estate or retirement. You never know what you'll find and they always have great seasonal pieces for the holidays as well. I really don't know if we could continue our glass art without them! read more

I went there to replace some colored glass in an antique light fixture and was overwhelmed at their size and stock. Everything for glass art is here. I needed some copper foil and glass for an art project I was working on. I tried to find it online but the shipping would be more than the price of the goods. I was fortunate enough to find this store near my house. The man that helped me was friendly, knowledgeable, and help me decide what I needed. It also turned out that it was cheaper than the online store I was looking at. If my project for Christmas ornaments turns out I will certainly return for more supplies. read more

This is a 5 star shop but not today. We are still goin going to rate it 5 stars for the great service we have gotten up until today. 1-3-2020. We were so happy to have found this store early last year and have been coming here to get our class ever since. We usually come on Saturday, but today we decided to come on a Friday. BIG mistake! The service was aweful! Not one single person greeted us or asked us if we needed any assistance. We approached the cash register area where we were serviced by a blonde woman. We did not get her name unfortunately. She was rude and unfriendly. She asked us for our account number and we were confused by the question and just said we don't have an account and then she asked rudely "have you not bought here before? It was very clear that she was not happy to service us as she and a coworker had a personal conversation while cutting our glass about how she didn't want him to leave her alone. She was flustered the entire time and kept walking back and forth saying she keeps forgetting the number of the glass she was looking up. What normally takes a few minutes to complete our purchase took over 10 minutes. Between her forgetting and then having a personal conversation with her coworker. Then she cut the glass crooked and blamed the glass. Definitely an interesting experience. I think this woman is just not the customer service type. The store has amazing glass so we will be back to shop there, but we will stick to the weekend when the service is good. I think the gentleman's name that helps us on Saturday is Jon. He gets us in an out and no matter how busy he is he always greets us and provides us with excellent service. And he always thanks us for coming in. You need to employee more people like him. He is efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. And he writes down all of the glass numbers down to avoid having to walk back and forth several times. read more

I attended a glass fusing/dichro workshop at Pacific Art Glass on Memorial Dad weekend. The glass did not at all deliver what was explicitly advertised. NO "variety of fused samples", No "handouts", no "diagrams of layering details of each technique" [only one technique was taught at all], no "discussion on design, color and developing one's own style", no "learning HOW to layer dichroic" and no "learning WHY each particular result happens". There we no tools laid out in the workroom. We, the students, had to hunt around for tools, molds, people to help. Dear Tina came in on her own time to handling the kilns and firing. NO ONE HAD BEEN SCHEDULED TO AID THE CLASS. It basically became open studio time, with much animosity. I wrote to John Williams, the owner, who had been out of town at the time of the class, explained that Pacific Art Glass had not delivered what was promised, and asked for a refund. I didn't even receive the courtesy of a reply. Will not do business with him again. read more

This is the most comprehensive glass supply store I have ever been to. It is huge and they have supplies for glass blowing, fusing, casting, and torch working, stained glass, and a huge range of products. It looks like they have some classes too. It is a good place to go if you want something glass related and know just what you are looking for- they seem to have everything! I'd give it five stars for selection, but it wouldn't be the best place for a casual shopper because A) it is totally overwhelming and B) it isn't well labeled with prices or anything. So, it helps to have a good idea what you want and how much it should cost. The couple times I've been I grabbed what I wanted, hauled it up to the counter, and asked how much. The staff has been helpful and the prices seemed reasonable. If you are into glass Art you have to pay them a visit! read more

Attended their annual open house last weekend and had a ball. For a small fee you got lunch and glass demonstrations, as well as a discount on all purchases. I love this place. Full of sheet glass from various art glass manufacturers in the US, as well as all supplies to work in glass from lamp working, kilns, frit, stringers, rods, blocks, pebbles, molds, grinders, kiln release you name it, they got it. They also have a room of glass art for sale that has some great inspirations to get your creative juices flowing. Prices are reasonable and they will ship it for you. Love this place! read more

This review reflects my experience at a workshop offered at Pacific Artglass lead by Tina Crabtree. The title of the workshop was: Dichro Decals, Photo Transfers and More. This 'class' was very disappointing. The 'teacher' was disorganized and planned for us to work on one inch precut cream tiles with monotonous cat and angel transfers she provided for most of the time allotted. This class was from 10:00 to 5:00pm. She demonstrated her lack of knowledge of Photoshop and general PC manipulation skills when she could not process the .jpgs students brought to the session. I have written Pacific ArtGlass several times and requested a partial refund. I drove an hour just to attend. SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. This class is not worth the time or money, and shame on Pacific Artglass for ignoring the feedback from myself and others (many who left early) by offering it again. The class has no learning value beyond teaching you to buy a laser printer and special paper if you want to make your own decals. read more

My wife and I have been in this store 3 times within the past few weeks. 2 out of the 3 times the sales staff were very unhelpful. 1 of the times I actually had to ask for help as no one said a word to me. You would think that a business that caters to the glass industry would be more helpful. Maybe its because they have the market locked down as far as suppliers go in the area. My opinion: if there was another supplier in the area then I would probably be going there. Bottom line, your customer service sucks!!! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Worst service I have ever encountered in ANY industry. Raymond at Pacific Art Glass overcharged me by $70, then acknowledged the mistake and repeatedly hung up on me when I called to resolve the matter. I still have not received a refund. I got billed for stuff I didn't order, over charged for stuff I did order, and then hung up on several times. Total Ripoff. read more

Do NOT waste your time or hard earned money on this lame excuse for a business! Nothing in the store has price tags so while shopping you must search their online site to find prices. The thing about that though is that they DO NOT honor the prices listed online in their store! I have been to their store multiple times (only boro supplier in socal) and have always been treated rudely by the staff....never greeted upon entering, not greeted at register, never offered help locating items. Also if you want a receipt with your purchase then the price will go up considerably! Not sure how that makes any sense at all! If you have an issue and want to contact anyone from management, good luck! Phone calls will not be returned and emails will be ignored entirely!
