A guy answered the phone and took down my information. He put me on hold while he priced the quote. I was then hung up on. I tried calling the number back several times, and even left a voicemail. I called for a windshield replacement, and the page had (949) 292-6549 for Irvine. very nice and competent gentlemen, gave me a price in three minutes. When I called to setup the work, he came at my workplace, did the work in less than an hour, for the amount specified. Very professional, no-nonsense, competent and accurate. It was a pleasure to watch him do the work. Cracking windshields is not fun, but at least the process to fix it was great. I had a nice rock hit my windshield on the freeway, leaving a quarter sized star break on the glass. Ugh. I checked around online to see who was recommended a lot in my area and found Bob with Pacific Auto Glass. I called Bob and he was so friendly and listened to what I had to have fixed. He explained things and made an appointment with me for 2 days later. He came to my house and fixed the windshield as I watched and he explained everything he was doing. Very common commuting from the IE into Orange County... ended up with a big rock chip on my windshield... which quickly spread out into a 3 foot long crack! I was stressed out about the quality of glass I would receive from a non-dealership-sourced windshield... i was worried that an aftermarket replacement wouldn't be as good. All of my fears were put to ease after Bob Rush came and did the job on my 2014 Toyota Corolla. The glass is identical to the factory part (all markings, tinted sections... sans the Toyota logo) and they did an incredible job installing it. I would be hard-pressed to notice the difference. A decent guy who does decent work. His assistant seemed a little iffy. My disappointment came from lack of communication. He said his price included a new top exterior trim piece (mine had pretty much disintegrated). He left after completing the job and getting paid. The trim was covered in tape and I was told to wait 24 hours before driving the car. I removed the tape the next day and the outside trim looks like dogsh**t. The top piece is new but the rest of the rubber is crumbling and completely missing in spots. I thought he would reuse the chrome and replace the rubber. I did not know the chrome and rubber were combined on each piece. The trim is flush with the windshield at certain spots and 1/4" above the windshield in others. Inside, the headliner was hanging down at the windshield and blobs of adhesive were oozing out past the trim. I called him and asked if he could fix the headliner. After a denial tsunami, he agreed to stop by and look at it. More denial, but he glued the headliner edge back up where it met the windshield. I asked if he could replace the rest of the exterior trim and he said "No, the trim is set in adhesive and the time to replace it was during installation." I am sure Bob could have done an excellent job if he had done the work himself and had given me the option to buy new trim, but he made the decision for me to do a sh**ty job and that's what I got. read more

I got a small chip in my windshield that turned into a foot long crack overnight. We called Bob and he was extremely nice on the phone, gave a great quote, and scheduled me for 2 days later. My window was from 8-10 and he arrived at 830, which never happens!! Didn't have to wait around all morning :-). Bob and Todd were super friendly, and did the work in my driveway and only took about 30 minutes. Bam! New windshield! They also give a warranty "against defects in material or workmanship for as long as you own the vehicle in which the glass is installed...." very happy with Pacific Auto Glass and will recc to anyone. read more

This morning, I had my car broken into. I got several quotes on new glass, none of which other than pacific auto glass could fix it same day. Bob was VERY helpful on the phone, even though I didn't know exactly what I was looking for glass wise. Went through about 5 (no's) from other companies before I called Bob. My situation was my Driver side rear view mirror was out. So when I called, Bob said he would come and assess the problem free of charge. Of course I work in the area so it worked out in that way but most importantly I was just excited that he was at least coming out to let me know what I can do. So when he got here (and he's very personable) he called my phone and he was already waiting by my car. He was discouraged and I misunderstood him when he did ask me if the plastic was out over the phone I just told him the mirror. He did explain over the phone that if the plastic is out that he may not be able to help me...BUT he still tried. And SUCCESS!! Even got the electrical back in order. I was impressed and so was he..LoL in his 33 years in the business he explained that I pretty much dodged the bullet and saved me almost $200-$300 dollars.
