    Protein smoothie
    Teresa B.

Right across from Kaiser hospital. Great little spot, not fussy, chill vibes, friendly service. I popped over one day to get a bite while I was waiting for someone who was at the medical clinic. Got a protein smoothie for my mom. Avacado, peanut butter, banana, chia, really tasty! I intended to just grab something to go but, I knew her appointment was going to take a while. I ordered my fave bagel sandwich, smoked salmon, cucumber, tomato, cream cheese, red onion. The bagel was lightly toasted just the way I prefer (not too crunchy). Took it with and iced tea, sat at a table outside. Watch the people and the ridiculously wild drivers go by! Be careful in that crosswalk! It was nice just to sit and relax before I headed back with the smoothie.

    Thai iced tea

Great coffee spot to hang out while waiting for my nanny kid to finish jujitsu, or whenever. I had bookmarked Pacific Bay Coffee as recommended by yelper Harvey K when I moved to WC in 2020. I've had Thai iced tea and taro milk tea, both of which I could taste their respective flavors. Sometimes Thai tea in particular can taste watered down and lack the tea flavor but that's not the case for PBCC's version! The woman at the front (not sure if she's the owner?) is very nice and efficient. She seems to manage multiple orders without too long of a wait. Maybe mornings are busier but I don't think I waited more than 5 mins when I was there ~3:15pm. Prices ~$5-6, which is reasonable. Cash and card accepted. Though I don't live close enough to be a regular, I'd gladly come back if in the area and encourage my WC friends to support this wonderful independently owned coffee shop!

    Matcha latte with extra matcha

A hidden gem in Walnut Creek. They roast all their coffee beans in the house. They have different methods and techniques of making coffee. My wife got the raspberry Mocha and its soo good! I got the matcha latte with extra matcha and since their maycha is unsweetened I asked to add a little honey to it its a 10/10. Definitely gonna be back again. Highly recommended place and service!

They make an excellent pistachio latte and the avocado toast was delicious. I will definitely be back!

    Egg salad on a croissant

This looks like a mess, but it was the most wonderfully weird looking and fresh tasting egg salad sandwich I've ever had. When I opened the croissant to see what was going on inside, I noticed celery pieces which added a crunch and texture you don't usually find in egg salad. The service was quick and friendly. Good location and convenient if you are visiting someone at Kaiser and don't feel like hospital food.

    My favorite latte. Yum yum

Pacific Bay Coffee is one of my favorite coffee shops. Whenever I want a great latte, this is the place I choose because they always make it perfectly. The staff are kind, welcoming, and make me feel at home every time I visit. Thank you all for your excellent service and for serving such wonderful coffee. I appreciate you!

Been driving around this pacific bay coffee place and finally we are able to stop by since we are in the area. It's a midsize store big enough for a few tables where you can hangout, do some homework, meet with friends etc. music is just right for you to keep a private conversation. From the selection of coffee beans, to their specialty coffee to their breakfast/lunch menu just amazing and a lot to choose from The pacific bay coffee team are great friendly accommodating and very professional. To walk into this store and find a friendly smile and a welcome is just priceless. We order Vietnamese coffee, "always heard it is very sweet and normally is use regular milk and condense milk" well, I asked if I could make some modifications and they were happy to help me, Vietnamese shots, condense milk and almond milk hot beverage OMG...just a touch of sweetness, dark roast coffee shots in the mix with almond milk just made right!!!. Rose bloom latte, normally the rose syrup tend to be overpowering but this drink was made just right, no sweet no overpowering no after taste and yo still taking the coffee shots. We also order tuna melt but instead of cheese we order with scrabble eggs, I know sound weird but it tastes amazing and we add some pastries to go almond croissant and blueberry muffin Definitely, I am coming back!!! P.S. My stepfather met us at PBC and order the croissant breakfast turkey sandwich and the pistachio latte

Lovely space with yummy food and drinks. I got the Summer Jade drink (honey, lemon, matcha, mint, & ice) and Spinach Feta Bistro. Food was ready fast. Everything was very fresh. Kind people too. Definitely recommend you check them out!

I got espresso. Tried single origin and their house blend Single Origin (Guatemala): 3.5/5 Bright, citrus-forward, probably orange. Light body, high acidity, no bitterness. Not much crema, but clean and well-executed. Just wanted a little more depth or mouthfeel. House Blend: 3/5 A touch bitter for my taste. Slight fruitiness--maybe plum--and dark chocolate notes underneath. Crema was nice, aroma was promising, but the bitterness held it back slightly. Note: I don't usually mention service, but they deserve a nod. I came in near closing, and they were thoughtful about pacing the shots and made no fuss about dine-in. Appreciated.

Nice independent coffee shop that roasts their own beans. It's cozy inside and they were playing classical piano music. Very nice staff! You can buy their coffee to take home too.

clean, cozy, spacious cafe! the staff who helped with my order was kind and patient. I got a soy flat white. the coffee was acidic and personally I am just not a fan. they have pastries from lavender bakery.

    Affogato
    Sandra V.

I needed to step away for a few, indulging on the affogato hit the spot. I was craving sweet with a hint of bitterness. It was perfect. The buttery tasting tart was a delicious treat too while enjoying the open view. Service was great. This time I had it in the coffee shop. They brought my drink and pastry. Def coming back. I'm curious to try more!

Amazing experience at Pacific Bay Co! The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and provided great customer service. The drinks were delicious and made perfectly. I had such a nice experience here and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend this coffee place if you're looking for good coffee, refreshing drink and kind staff!

And, during the month of March, customers will have the option to round up their purchase to the nearest dollar or donate $1, $3, or $5 when placing their order.
