Sunday mornings are our coffee adventure days! This weekend my workout buddy and I checked out Panama Bay Coffee, tucked away in Walnut Creek. I ordered the Irish Cream Latte, and my friend went with the Banana Nut Latte. Verdict? We both really enjoyed our drinks--smooth, flavorful, and definitely a solid choice. Would we come back? He definitely would, and I would too. It's always fun finding another local coffee spot to add to our favorites

Limited street parking. It's located across the street from the Lesher Arts building. The set up is a little different. The pick up window faces N. Main street. To order you enter on the right side of the building. Very quaint inside, no inside seating. There is limited outdoor seating. The day I visited they were unable to do any espresso based drinks as the machine was out of order. They do have drip coffee options, blended coffee options as well as limited selection of pastries. I tried the mocha it was very sweet. Overall service was good, but was not impressed with my beverage.

I need their gluten free focaccia. It's crispy but fluffy and SO tasty. Their gluten free treats are pretty good too! Parking is iffy but if you're early it's not bad. The staff are very kind and love a little chat! Not much seating so it's a good place to grab a quick snack or breakfast to go. For matchas, not the best- a little milky but if I'm needed a sweet treat this place has fun flavors and plenty of other refreshing options!

Small and casual but worth the stop. Really nice staff and a good variety or drinks. I got a peach green tea which was perfect for the summer heat. I will be back again and would recommend them.

Ava took my order and was super friendly welcoming me in and pointed out their many flavor shot options. We made small talk about the little frog that was rescued and now a member of the shop as seen in the photo. She asked how I heard about them and I told her my aunt recommended it to me for the castle-like aesthetic. Though, that was just a bonus as my order was delicious too! I ordered the Banana Chocolate Chip Muffin, which was perfectly moist. It was more on the chocolaty side, which I personally love, but the banana gave it that bouncy texture. I also got an Iced Mocha with Butterscotch, oat milk, and no whipped cream. It was delicious and the perfect balance between chocolate and butterscotch. I was happy that I could actually taste the butterscotch flavoring without it being overly sweet. Next time, I would like to try one of their breakfast sandwiches and I would be curious to know if they have for-here ware to enjoy the beautiful scenery for longer. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a small coffee shop with delicious pastries and a wide-variety of coffee flavors!

My partner and I hit the road at 5am last friday to drive back home for HOURS. an hour in, we decided we needed some coffee so I searched for some coffee shops on the way home and found this place. At first we both thought it was going to be a cheap espresso and coffee pot shops so our expectations weren't very high yet once we arrived we completely changed our minds. The exterior is cottage-y and whimsical which we thought was cute since the rest of the neighboring buildings were nice apartments and buildings. When you walk in, the 2 female workers were super friendly by greeting us and starting to chat with us about our day. They have a HUGE list of coffee syrups to pick from which was great since we love different flavors yet not many places have the flavors we want! The workers were freshly making their breakfast sandwiches on croissants and asked if we wanted one because they smelled wonderful. My partner got an iced banana latte and a sandwich. He said the sandwich was delicious and devoured it all. As well as his coffee, I tried some and they perfectly added just enough banana just so it's not too sweet nor to bland. I love pour overs, yet again not many offer them, but they had a long list of pours overs to pick from! I ended up taking the workers advice and trying the Mayan which is a spiced chocolate and cinnamon notes. Usually in pour overs, people mess them up and you can't really taste the notes or anything so it's just a black coffee. My standards still weren't very high yet as K watched them make the pour over, I trusted them a little more because they'd perfectly time it and watch everything. Once I tried it, I was taken back. It was really chocolaty and spiced! Like I took a bite of a spicy chocolate bar! I was head over heels for this pour over. The workers wished us safe travels as we left and we couldn't stop talking about how good their coffee was. It's been a few days and I'm craving another pour over so bad from this place. I highly recommend stopping at this place if you're in the area or if you want some good coffee! From the sandwiches to the pour overs, it seems like they perfected it all.

I've been meaning to try this coffee spot for a while and I'm glad I stopped by after work! I ordered inside and waited outside for my drink. I got the banana bread latte (one of their most popular drinks) and it was super yummy!! I can see why it's their popular, would love to get again. You can also order ahead online on their app :) Only downside is downtown Walnut Creek parking is bad, I was lucky enough to find street parking and walked to Panama Bay Coffee. But overall worth it.

Panama Bay Coffee Shop is a super cute & small cafe! It's like a little fairy home, and has such a unique charm -- I especially loved the pollinator plants in their tiny garden. The space inside is very small, It's definitely a spot to grab (your coffee & pastry) and go, especially on these rainy days. There wasn't any indoor seating, but there is some outdoor seating available, but they weren't set up today as I imagine it's because its a rainy day. I was served by Sydney, she was quick to take my order which was a hot English Toffee Chai and a banana walnut muffin. Both of these were pretty good, but the more sips I took of my chai, the more I couldn't help but think "this tastes like bone broth" lol. It was intriguing, but I probably wouldn't get this drink again. The muffin was really good and quite big! I'd love to come back here on a sunny day to try another drink & treat.

What an unassuming but lovely coffee shop! The line was long but it moved very quickly. Everyone behind the counter was friendly and helpful. I got an iced chai and jalapeño and bacon scone and they were both delicious! They have a very impressive list of syrups so I will definitely be back to try some of their fun drink combinations/flavors!

I worked from the barstools for about an hour and a half. After the breakfast rush had passed, I noticed plenty of open tables along the wall. Since I had thrown out my back this week and desperately needed more support, I moved to one of them. The sign said the table was reserved for up to two hours for customers who ordered food. Great--I had ordered food and had only been sitting there for about an hour. Nope. The same barista who took my order approached me to explain that the table was reserved for customers who ordered food. When I reminded her that I had, she asked what I ordered--as if she hadn't personally rung me up. She then told me I needed to return to the backless barstool. I challenged this because it made absolutely no sense. There were plenty of open tables, I was a paying customer and I was within the posted two-hour limit. She simply repeated that it was the policy. To be clear, the problem isn't that the policy was poorly communicated. The policy should not exist in the first place. Kicking a paying customer out of an empty chair and directing them back to a barstool is a horrible business model that lacks basic respect and hospitality. I left angry, embarrassed and regretting the money I spent here. I will absolutely not be returning.

Although the location is not prominent, pictures of their beautifully crafted drinks and delicious bánh mì sandwiches have been spreading across different social media platforms. So much so that they have been featured in reporting by several local media outlets. Out of curiosity, I decided to check this spot out with my brother and a couple friends on 08/29/2025. It wasn't busy when we walked in at around noon. A quick glance revealed a space that's tiny but well organized. We were greeted by Thuy, the friendly proprietor of the establishment. Since this was our first visit, it took us a while to figure out what we wanted. In the end, we each got a bánh mì sandwich and a beverage. Pricing was reasonable IMHO (see menu pic). I had the cold cut bánh mì and an iced coffee. I gave half of my sandwich to my brother, and he gave me half of his grilled chicken bánh mì in return. Both sandwiches were delicious! The baguette was excellent. It was crispy on the outside and soft and spongy on the inside. Thuy told me later on that she gets them from Duc Huong Sandwiches, a famed Vietnamese sandwich chain in San Jose. The homemade pâté, cold cuts, and grilled chicken were all delicious, and the produce was very fresh. The iced coffee was very good as well. We chatted with Thuy extensively before and after our meal. She told us she was a banker prior to opening this café. From our conversation, I could tell she takes pride in her work. We were all very impressed by her demeanor and business acumen. Should you find yourself in downtown Walnut Creek, do yourself a favor and give this place a try. You will not be disappointed. 5 stars. BONUS MATERIAL: - You can either park at the library lot, Civic Park, or the Broadway city garage a block away. - Contactless payment. - They have limited indoor and outdoor seating.
