This was my first time trying this place and it was wonderful! The restaurant was very cute classy Oceanside vibes and very welcoming. We got a seat outside on the patio and it was so peaceful not even feeling like you're in a mall! The food was so fresh and flavorful! I had the fish and chips which had a jalapeno tartar sauce which was amazing!! Fish was cooked perfectly. We also got steamed clams which I hadn't had before and WOW. So yummy and flavorful and the sauce they come in!! My friend got poke which she loved and ate every bit of! If you're looking for a nice spot while in the area this is definitely a must!!

We came in during happy hour and were satisfied with everything we ordered. There was plenty of seating inside and outside. We decided to sit outside. All the food was delicious and the server was fast.

We actually eat Pacific Catch pretty often but mostly by ordering to-go or through a food delivery app. The food has always been pretty great even for take-out so I was interested to see if our dine-in experience would be any different. If you're coming for Happy Hour, let the host know because I think it's only available at the bar and/or the tables around the bar. Since we weren't interested, we asked to be seated in the outdoor patio. Cabo Calamari: Great appetizer to share, tons of bite-sized, crispy pieces. The chipotle aioli is spicier than you would think! I really liked that they also fried slices of lemons. Fish & Chips: Comes with three pieces of Alaska Cod, slaw, and your choice of fries, salad, or chips and salsa. The cod batter was fried crispy but I thought the fish was just okay. Not the best in San Diego, but not the worst. Korean BBQ: This is my go-to order and I usually get steak. Super saucy, which goes great with the kimchi fried rice. You also get an egg with the yolk still intact so I'll usually pop it and mix it in with the rice for some creaminess. I usually don't have an issue with the brussels sprouts but this time, it didn't seem like the flavors absorbed well so each bite was bland. Overall, a good meal but a little pricey, especially with the Korean BBQ. Make sure to sign up for their rewards program because you can get free bowls on your birthday!

Taco trio, fried shrimp, fish and grilled Chilean Sea Bass...excellent !!!

Second time I've been to this place in the past two years and I am pleased to report they have maintained the same quality and consistency of their food. We started off this the fried calamari which was not greasy, very fresh and came with a dipping sauce which perfectly complimented the calamari. We then ordered the tacos, wifey got the fried shrimp and fish and I got the 3 taco combo, fried shrimp, fish and the Chilean Sea Bass...they were all excellent...they also came with the side of chips or salad...we opted for the salad with the miso dressing on the side...the salad was super fresh with micro greens, edamame and associated greens...it was super delicious and honestly did not even need the dressing. Great service provided by Ashley and met the very sweet and kind GM Debbie...looking forward to going back to try some of their other dishes...enjoy !!!

We love Pacific Catch! Food is always good. Service is good except the last few times we've gone, the service has been slow as in waiting for the waiter/waitress to come greet us and take our drink order. Love the ambiance and location. One disappointing thing at our last visit were the cups. Had a lot of hard water stains and scratches, it was kinda gross. Nonetheless, it's a great place with yummy food! Especially their salmon chowder...my fave!

Happy hour started off with very few tables being occupied, but that quickly changed and suddenly the restaurant was packed! Thankfully, the staff still came around regularly and kept the food & drinks flowing. We sat in the bar area, adjacent to the indoor/outdoor bar where fresh air flowed throughout the space. Definitely felt the chill vibes here. THE FOOD. - Baja Ceviche. Bright and zesty with shrimp that tasted fresh, each bite popping with citrusy tang. - Guaca-Poke. A fun idea, but the poke got completely lost in the avocado mix. - Original Ahi Poke. Mildly fishy, but still clean and tender. Comes with crunchy wonton chips. - Sashimi Hand Roll (Spicy Salmon). Fatty, rich salmon with rice, wrapped in a crisp seaweed wrapper. - Baja Style Taco (Crispy Cod). Mildly fishy but flaky, with a light and crunchy batter. THE DRINKS. - Guava-Rita. Sweet, tropical guava notes made it dangerously easy to drink. - Shark Fin. Sour enough to make your face slightly pucker, but the sweet honey-guava syrup helped balance this drink out. THE PARKING. UTC did what UTC does: charged for parking. I paid $4 for a few hours, which honestly felt like a win. THE VERDICT. Good food, attentive service, and playful drinks. If you're craving seafood snacks in a laid back, modern setting and don't mind paying a few bucks to park, this spot is worth checking out.

The waiter was really sweet, and made sure to seat us at table where we wouldn't feel too cold. The standout dish of the night for me was the mixed catch platter ($23.95). This came with two pieces of cod, three coconut shrimp, calamari, sesame slaw, and three types of sauces (tartar, chipotle aioli, and Thai sweet chili sauce). This was so delicious, perfectly fried, and a large portion. Other entrees that we ordered were: -Barramundi sea bass ($29.95): You get to pick a style and two sides so we went with asian herb chimichurri, mexican corn, and regular fries. The fish was quite tender. -Fish and Chips platter ($19.95): This was good, but the mixed catch platter was a much better deal. -One more mixed catch platter ($23.95) **The platters come with your choice of fries, salad, or chips and salsa.** This is a solid restaurant when you are craving seafood! I highly recommend that you try the mixed catch platter.

Dining at a restaurant in a mall is always convenient with little ones because as an iPad-free family, we can take them outside for a stroll around the mall while waiting for the food to arrive. We ordered the guacamole and chips, steamed edamame, Korean ribs, fish taco platter, lobster and salmon sushi rolls (not pictured) everything was great for sharing, fresh and delicious! The restaurant decor was bright and clean and the indoor/outdoor patio was a nice and breezy for a fall dinner with family. The staff was helpful as we had a large party of 7 adults and 2 kids, we didn't have reservations on a Saturday night and didn't have to wait too long.

Been here a couple of times and the service is a hit or miss depending on how busy they are. The food is consistently good though. Don't miss the short ribs. Sampler platter is a good way to try everything.

I wanted to give this restaurant another chance. When they first opened I had a fabulous meals. So excited I went back a couple weeks later and was highly disappointed. Fast forward a couple years I went back for dinner. Our server was delightful but my dinner went from bad to worse. I ordered the West Coat Style grilled salmon. The salmon was overcooked, so I sent it back. The second salmon was the same overcooked dry fish. Instead of asking if I wanted something else they tried a third time. Third time was not a charm - it was raw inside. At that point I handed back the dish. A few minutes later the a waiter came over and told us our meal had been comped. So I had no food. My kids did enjoy their dishes. So 1 star for raw food served. We all know that is unacceptable in any dining situation unless it is meant to be served raw. The Kanpachi from the grill was well done. The chimichurri sauce had a little kick. The wagyu burger was enjoyed by my son. The calamari with Fresno peppers was delicious. Not sure I will go back.

Of all the restaurants we could have chosen at Westfield UTC, I chose one that I didn't enjoy what I ordered. Came here on a Sunday around noon and the place just had a sparse number of patrons for such a large establishment. Chose Pacific Catch mainly because my wife wanted to have a healthier meal though I would have chosen ramen or a smash burger. My wife got the salmon on the grill , seasoned with Asian herbs with a salad and Kim chee rice. Seeing that I wasn't craving for seafood (at a seafood joint), I opted for the Korean BBQ ribs with Kim chee rice and Brussels sprouts. So first thing I noticed it wasn't beef but PORK. And the ribs didn't have the Korean bbq taste I'm use to but had some generic southern style flavor that was trying to be Asian. It was mid. Portions was large but had that "straight from the freezer and cooked" taste. The Kim chee fried rice was clumpy, thick and I didn't enjoy it. The egg on top was good and helped eat some of the rice. There was a large amount of Brussels sprouts that would fill a separate entree. It was ok, it was topped with another sweet sauce that was fine but that wasn't supposed to be the focus of the order. I took home a lot of it to go but not sure whether I would eat it again but at least my dog can enjoy the bones. My meal- 2 stars Yeah, I probably chose the wrong item at a seafood place so take my review with a grain of salt. Would I come here again? Considering how many restaurants I still want to try at Westfield UTC, probably not

MUST TRY!!!!! Amazing happy hour and a menu full of delicious options. Ever since I found this gem at the UTC mall, I can't stay away! The bartenders are always so welcoming and attentive, which makes dining at the bar my go-to. It does get busy during happy hour, but that just shows how good it is! Fresh food, healthy protein-packed choices, and a rewards program that's totally worth signing up for if you come often. I am making it my goal to try everything on the menu... so far my favorites are the summer special sea bass, the steak taco from happy hour, the salmon bowl, and ceviche! I can't wait to try more

Date Night Done Right at Season 52!…read more My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous date night at Season 52, and it exceeded our expectations! A special shout-out to Victoria, our waitress, who served up outstanding customer service from start to finish. She kept our drinks flowing, checked on us often, and made our evening feel extra special with her warm smile and attention to detail. We started with the Shrimp & Crab Stuffed Mushrooms and a bowl of Lobster Bisque--both were flavorful, fresh, and absolutely delicious! For my entrée, I ordered the 8 oz. wood-grilled Filet Mignon with a lobster tail, potatoes, asparagus, and warm butter for dipping. Everything was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. My husband enjoyed the caramelized glazed scallops with a filet mignon, Yukon mashed potatoes, and asparagus. Another winner! The biggest surprise? The value! At around $55 per entrée, we felt the portions, quality, and presentation were exceptional. Steak, lobster, and scallops at that price point made this meal a fantastic value. Bonus: Plenty of parking at UTC, and Season 52 validates your parking ticket! If you're looking for a romantic date night, delicious food, and outstanding service, head over to Season 52 and ask for Victoria. She'll make sure your experience is just as memorable as ours. We left as very happy customers and can't wait to return with our family and friends! Happy Customers, Laura & Mike Songer

This paired smoothly with a flight of Joe Wagner red wines (Pinot Noir, Red Blend, and Cabernet Sauvignon) and finished with one of their signature mini indulgence desserts. * Sesame Grilled Salmon Salad: The salmon was juicy with a balanced glaze that was not too sweet, allowing the fresh taste of the fish to stand out. The fresh greens, crunchy jicama, and grilled pineapple were excellent, textural complements to the fish. * Caymus Wine Flight: We also ordered the Caymus flight, which featured a crisp Sauvignon Blanc, a Pinot Noir, and their signature Cabernet Sauvignon. Overall: sexy ambiance with live music & a great dinner spot…read more We walked in on on Saturday night at 8 PM after doing some returns at the mall when we were offered a table in the bar area, which was an adorable corner booth. I was really impressed that u had a place to set my feet on because I'm very short and normally have a hard time with regular bar seats. There are a lot of cute touches like that. Hooks to hold your purse, etc. I was loving the soulful music which I thought was from a playlist so I used Shazam in order to capture the song. However, the music started to sound live so I walked around...only to find it was coming from a very talented woman named Marianne across the bar. Service was friendly, but we both noticed other tables were a bit ignored or slow to be served. We ordered a few margaritas. Cesar salad with chicken and the lobster arrabbiata with table-side Parmesan. The food was great. I'm not a big focaccia lover but there's was the best I've ever had. It was warm, light, airy, fluffy, and came with this amazing butter AND olive oil, balsamic rosemary. We used the bread to dip into the leftover pasta sauce. We ordered margaritas. I would definitely recommend the blood orange drink they have on the menu. Shout out to Morgan, who was an amazing server and Marianne whose live music changed my whole mood. It's even louder inside because I poked my head in just to see what the decor is like. On the patio, it was so loud, we practically had to shout at one another from across the table just to be heard. It is very distracting, and the noise levels contribute overall to a lack of ambiance. Simply stated, the acoustic here are terrible. The second thing I noticed is how EXPENSIVE this joint is, even for an upscale steakhouse. $22 ($18 plus a $4 surcharge for "loaded") for a loaded baked potato? Come on, now. That's outrageous. For my entree, I ordered the 16-ounce ribeye ($74) with a gorgonzola crust ($8 extra), and it came to my table lukewarm because it had been sitting on the hot plate for too long, so I sent it back. If I'm ordering an $82 piece of meat, it better be delivered to me SIZZLING and cooked properly. When my second steak arrived, it was only a little bit hotter, but not much. In addition, the kitchen gave me a piece of beef that was NOT 16 ounces (more like 12 ounces)...and it was riddled with way too much fat/gristle. To add insult to injury, the chef was quite skimpy with the gorgonzola cheese, so I just let it go. What a travesty when a steakhouse doesn't know how to properly cook and serve beef...and then charges guests an arm and a leg for less-than-mediocre food. To be fair to The Amalfi Llama, the manager on duty did come to my table to personally handle my complaint, and she also served the second steak to me herself. In addition, the restaurant removed the steak from my bill, but by that time, the damage had been done. I won't be returning...ever. When it comes to steakhouses, I'd much rather go to Ruth's Chris, Morton's and The Palm any day of the week...both of which are far more consistent and worth the money.

Yes it's on a campus, yes there is parking in ther parking structure literally two steps away. Worth it. Must go.

My friend and I were seated at the bar, and honestly, the service was okay. I'm not sure if it's because everyone else was older and we were the only young adults there, but we noticed that all the staff were more attentive towards them. Which is not a problem personally, but just something I noticed! We got the Bucatini Pasta and the Pollo Alla Griglia (I think). The Bucatini Pasta was nothing crazy, and, especially for the price, I would say you can just make it with store-bought tomato sauce at home. The Pollo Alla Griglia was a little underwhelming, but I will admit that the chicken breast was the juiciest I've ever had! I just wish that for $40, it was more than just a chicken breast on top of some mixed greens.

The ambience at Javier's is just incredibly stunning! From the coastal vibes, to the waterfalls and fire pits, to the show-stopping restroom entrance, every detail was thoughtfully laid out and it's just a total VIBE, and we are here for it! Now to the food, we thought everything was really flavorful and tasty, with high quality meats. The chips and salsa were delicious (we recommend requesting their green and Smokey salsas too). We do think they were a bit overpriced for what you got but it's totally a spot worth at least experiencing once! We ordered the "La Tablita" ($115) which is their signature make-your-own tacos made for two or more people so it was perfect for two adults and a child. We chose the skirt steak and carnitas for our proteins. It also comes with guacamole, cheese, pickled jalapeños and carrots, fresh tortillas (flour/corn), rice, and refried beans. I also tried their Pepino (cucumber ) Margarita that was super light and refreshing ($21).
