their salmon poke bowl, with cooked salmon????!?
    Shane C.

the "salmon" poke bowl is cooked salmon. I brought it to their attention and they just said sorry, we dont do salmon poke. Then why is even an option to change from ahi tuna to salmon. This is just misleading. The attitude was too bad, you got what you ordered. This is definitely not what id expect from a nice restaurant. I can see why its now empty and no longer the go to place anymore.

My second, third, and fourth visits to pacific catch included dining at the exterior low-top tables, interior hightop tables, and carryout. SERVICE was quick for carryout and smaller orders. FOOD 5/5 West Coast I Salmon Bowl: roasted cauliflower, avocado, radish, cilantro-pepita pesto, soy-tahini drizzle, brown rice-quinoa, organic greens (ingredients were all fresh and flavorful) 5/5 Poke: fresh, loved the sprouts 4.5/5 Steamed Clams w herb butter broth w white wine, Fresno chiles, cilantro, lemon, grilled bread 4.5/5 shrimp ceviche: acidic, flavorful, chunky 4/5 Eggplant: herbaceously flavorful although a bit undercooked for me 4/5 Brussels: tender and slightly crisp 4/5 Mai tai: spirit and sugar forward (too sweet for me)

I used to go to pacific catch years ago when I lived in the Bay Area so a few years ago I was happy to hear they were opening down here. I have been multiple times over the years and the service and food have remained consistent. After an appointment, I was hungry and realized I was close by. Perfect lunch option. Parking is free for the first hour and I was able to get a spot relatively quickly. I was greeted and seated instantly. I ordered an Arnold Palmer and one of their choices of bowls. My Arnold Palmer came quickly and the server was friendly. My sashimi bowl came shortly thereafter. It was a good size and tasted good. The pickled veggies were a little salty but I just kept them to the side. I will definitely continue to visit as it reminds me of home and it's quick, easy & reliable when I'm hungry

Went for a work lunch before it got busy (around 11am) so that was nice. Service was good and food came out at a decent time. The menu had nice options as well. The food itself was kind of mid. The food wasn't hot when it came and it seemed like it wasn't the best quality. It just tasted ok. I was pretty full after but nothing really stood out to me.

This was my first time trying this place and it was wonderful! The restaurant was very cute classy Oceanside vibes and very welcoming. We got a seat outside on the patio and it was so peaceful not even feeling like you're in a mall! The food was so fresh and flavorful! I had the fish and chips which had a jalapeno tartar sauce which was amazing!! Fish was cooked perfectly. We also got steamed clams which I hadn't had before and WOW. So yummy and flavorful and the sauce they come in!! My friend got poke which she loved and ate every bit of! If you're looking for a nice spot while in the area this is definitely a must!!

pacific catch: the portionss r hugeee! food was alright tbh. but ambiance was nice. poke and tuna quality was mid, but not bad, and i felt like the sauce on the poke was too salty. the calamari was also ok- i think after i had calamari in italy, none of the ones here compare i think theyre happy hour menu seem alot worth it w the drinks! service was quick and attentive!

We actually eat Pacific Catch pretty often but mostly by ordering to-go or through a food delivery app. The food has always been pretty great even for take-out so I was interested to see if our dine-in experience would be any different. If you're coming for Happy Hour, let the host know because I think it's only available at the bar and/or the tables around the bar. Since we weren't interested, we asked to be seated in the outdoor patio. Cabo Calamari: Great appetizer to share, tons of bite-sized, crispy pieces. The chipotle aioli is spicier than you would think! I really liked that they also fried slices of lemons. Fish & Chips: Comes with three pieces of Alaska Cod, slaw, and your choice of fries, salad, or chips and salsa. The cod batter was fried crispy but I thought the fish was just okay. Not the best in San Diego, but not the worst. Korean BBQ: This is my go-to order and I usually get steak. Super saucy, which goes great with the kimchi fried rice. You also get an egg with the yolk still intact so I'll usually pop it and mix it in with the rice for some creaminess. I usually don't have an issue with the brussels sprouts but this time, it didn't seem like the flavors absorbed well so each bite was bland. Overall, a good meal but a little pricey, especially with the Korean BBQ. Make sure to sign up for their rewards program because you can get free bowls on your birthday!

Kona Kanpachi with house salad and Japanese potatoes

This is definitely going to be one of my go-to spots now at UTC. It's a hidden gem tucked in the back of UTC mall near Somi Somi, don't know how I hadn't tried it before especially being someone who LOVES seafood. Ambiance - open and airy when you walk in. Noise levels, despite having 2 big parties, were moderate and comfortable. Service - amazing. I was indecisive (too many good options to choose from) but Alexandria S was super patient with me and helped guide me to the right choice for the evening. Food - I had the Kona Kanpachi with the house salad and japanese yams. I ate everything, I'm not sure they even had to run the plate through the dishwasher after I was done with it lol. The house salad was delicious, kind of reminded me of a mushroom salad but with lettuce in it. Super flavorful and I loved the different textures. The yams (cooked to perfection, crispy outside and soft inside) were covered in a yellow curry. Delicious. The Kanpachi was perfectly cooked as well; crispy skin on the outside, moist on the inside. It came with a chimichurri sauce on the side and grilled lemon which were both great additions. Pricing - I felt the freshness, flavors, and overall portion size lined up with what I'd expect to pay. Overall, 10/10. I'm so excited to come back and try more!

I have reviewed Pacific Catch in Tustin and as always this place is up to its great standard. Place is located inside La Jolla Mall. Lots of parking at the entance of the restaurant, but it is paid parking. Ordered the Coconut Shrimp as usual, it was good today although they over fried a bit the Coconut. Had the Blood Orange Margarita for the first time. Spicy, sweet and tarty at the same time. Loved it since I don't like se For entrees we had the Chicken Tinga Bowl and the Sashimi Bowl. Both were an explosion of flavors in your mouth. The Sashimi Plate was very big and complete. Relaxed ambiance. Service was good and fast.

I came here on a Thursday evening after making a reservation through OpenTable, but it wasn't necessary since there was plenty of seating available. They offer both indoor and patio seating, and the patio is covered. Our server was fantastic. He immediately brought out two bowls of ice for my dogs, which they absolutely loved. The restaurant is very dog-friendly and even has an adorable pup menu. Unfortunately, my dogs have sensitive stomachs, so they weren't able to enjoy any of the items. We ordered: * Guaca-Poke: this was delicious and incredibly fresh. The poke was excellent, and I loved the chips they served with it. My only suggestion would be to include a few more chips on the plate. * Korean BBQ Steak: absolutely phenomenal. The portion was large enough to easily share between two people, and the steak was cooked perfectly. If you sign up for their app, they offer a free shareable on your visit, which is a great deal and honestly what brought us through the door. One thing they should update is that the app doesn't clearly state you can't combine more than two offers. The service was one of the highlights of our visit. Our server was wonderful with the dogs, checked on us regularly, and gave excellent recommendations. He did accidentally forget to remove the complimentary shareable from the bill, but we caught it before paying, and he fixed it immediately without any issue. The restaurant was fairly quiet during our visit. The ambiance was decent, though a bit bright and lacking some atmosphere. That said, the food quality and service more than made up for it. The dog-friendly environment is a huge bonus, and I'd definitely return for the excellent food and hospitality.

Teriyaki Bowl, Serrano Ahi Poke, Baja Shrimp Ceviche

We came in during happy hour and were satisfied with everything we ordered. There was plenty of seating inside and outside. We decided to sit outside. All the food was delicious and the server was fast.

    Serrano Ahi Poke.

Happy hour started off with very few tables being occupied, but that quickly changed and suddenly the restaurant was packed! Thankfully, the staff still came around regularly and kept the food & drinks flowing. We sat in the bar area, adjacent to the indoor/outdoor bar where fresh air flowed throughout the space. Definitely felt the chill vibes here. THE FOOD. - Baja Ceviche. Bright and zesty with shrimp that tasted fresh, each bite popping with citrusy tang. - Guaca-Poke. A fun idea, but the poke got completely lost in the avocado mix. - Original Ahi Poke. Mildly fishy, but still clean and tender. Comes with crunchy wonton chips. - Sashimi Hand Roll (Spicy Salmon). Fatty, rich salmon with rice, wrapped in a crisp seaweed wrapper. - Baja Style Taco (Crispy Cod). Mildly fishy but flaky, with a light and crunchy batter. THE DRINKS. - Guava-Rita. Sweet, tropical guava notes made it dangerously easy to drink. - Shark Fin. Sour enough to make your face slightly pucker, but the sweet honey-guava syrup helped balance this drink out. THE PARKING. UTC did what UTC does: charged for parking. I paid $4 for a few hours, which honestly felt like a win. THE VERDICT. Good food, attentive service, and playful drinks. If you're craving seafood snacks in a laid back, modern setting and don't mind paying a few bucks to park, this spot is worth checking out.

Taco trio, fried shrimp, fish and grilled Chilean Sea Bass...excellent !!!

Second time I've been to this place in the past two years and I am pleased to report they have maintained the same quality and consistency of their food. We started off this the fried calamari which was not greasy, very fresh and came with a dipping sauce which perfectly complimented the calamari. We then ordered the tacos, wifey got the fried shrimp and fish and I got the 3 taco combo, fried shrimp, fish and the Chilean Sea Bass...they were all excellent...they also came with the side of chips or salad...we opted for the salad with the miso dressing on the side...the salad was super fresh with micro greens, edamame and associated greens...it was super delicious and honestly did not even need the dressing. Great service provided by Ashley and met the very sweet and kind GM Debbie...looking forward to going back to try some of their other dishes...enjoy !!!

The staff who led the way seemed to have a really bad day, cold tone and no facial expression when asked politely to switch to a mini booth instead a four ppl table. And he was able to accommodate . Then there comes Hannah, she is very sweet, friendly and easy to talk to. Her smiles and just right check-ins, totally work 5 stars service. Unfortunately the dishes were not impressive as the service, big failure is the Tuscan white bean soup, too salty to swallow, the ahi tuna tartar is good but seasoning was a little plain. And the sea bass tastes fresh, but the flavor is boring -- tasted like something easily comes out from home. When Hannah noticed that I didn't drink much of the soup, she asked me about it. And she even went to her manager to take that off my bill without asking or complaining. .... Great mental values I got from her during this meal. Overall Hannah's service is FiVe , and food taste 3 stars . So overall total 4 stars . The restaurant is big , fits for small and big parties.

Date Night Done Right at Season 52!…read more My husband and I enjoyed a fabulous date night at Season 52, and it exceeded our expectations! A special shout-out to Victoria, our waitress, who served up outstanding customer service from start to finish. She kept our drinks flowing, checked on us often, and made our evening feel extra special with her warm smile and attention to detail. We started with the Shrimp & Crab Stuffed Mushrooms and a bowl of Lobster Bisque--both were flavorful, fresh, and absolutely delicious! For my entrée, I ordered the 8 oz. wood-grilled Filet Mignon with a lobster tail, potatoes, asparagus, and warm butter for dipping. Everything was cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. My husband enjoyed the caramelized glazed scallops with a filet mignon, Yukon mashed potatoes, and asparagus. Another winner! The biggest surprise? The value! At around $55 per entrée, we felt the portions, quality, and presentation were exceptional. Steak, lobster, and scallops at that price point made this meal a fantastic value. Bonus: Plenty of parking at UTC, and Season 52 validates your parking ticket! If you're looking for a romantic date night, delicious food, and outstanding service, head over to Season 52 and ask for Victoria. She'll make sure your experience is just as memorable as ours. We left as very happy customers and can't wait to return with our family and friends! Happy Customers, Laura & Mike Songer
