They fixed the problem within 15 minutes for the total visit. There were small pieces of plastic there that needed to be cleaned out and the dishwasher is working fine. I guess I didn't need the drain pump to be replaced for $350 after all. When I called to complain, they agreed to take the additional cleaning fee and charge the visit fee only.
