The first was about ten years ago for another portion of our house, and once again they did an outstanding job. They were helpful in selecting a flooring pattern that matched our previously installed floors, and the estimating and scheduling process was straightforward and easy. The installation crew paid close attention to detail, and you can tell from the work around corners, transitions, and trim that they take pride in their craftsmanship and quality. We also appreciated how transparent they were regarding areas where our subfloor was uneven (which we knew would be a problem going into the job). They assessed the condition, explained the available options, and then corrected the subfloor so the planks could be installed the right way. Having a section of our hallway flat when it's been uneven for years has been a great bonus. It's reassuring to know a company like this exists in Concord. Fleury's is the only place I would use for flooring in the future.

Fast forward to present day and time to replace 30yr old original carpeting upstairs. Because our prior experience with Fleury's went so well, naturally we returned to them for phase 2. I started with Chris at the store to present the project and he made suggestions for makers and brands to best match the Brazilian Cherry we had downstairs. Patrick was up next with onsite inspection, measurements, and bringing over samples. A complementary (and upgraded) product was chosen and install timeline was set. Javier and Kiko were next on the scene and took only 5 days to demo carpet, prep and level subfloor, and install flooring and baseboards in 4 bedrooms and a hallway. Patrick came by a couple times to check on progress and made a great suggestion to add additional underlayment. That - combined with their tried and proven method of gluing and nailing down the floor - made for the most solid-feeling hardware floor installation I've ever encountered. I'm a pretty picky customer, so when I tell you their craftsmanship, attention to detail, and finish skills are top notch - believe it. Prices and labor these days are pretty much standard all around. But if you receive this level of workmanship and flawless results, you sleep better knowing you made the right decision. Can't say enough about my experience with Fleury's. 10/10

I used to say I hate tile because of the grout but they have beautiful selections. They even have a clearance section in the back left of the store. The first visit we didn't find the Schluter edge trims we needed. But they do have a much larger selection than your local hardware store. The second visit I was looking for Y shaped spacers for installing hexagon tiles. An employee asked if I needed help. He and another employee took maybe 10 minutes out of their way to help me look for the Y spacers. Super nice! Exceptional service! Their inventory online actually seems to be accurate because they asked if I had the SKU and it told them the same number available as what I saw online. I had called two other flooring stores nearby to see if they sell Y shaped spacers but they don't. Definite plus in how large their inventory and selection is. I will be going out of my way to cross the bridge to go to Floor and Decor for my next project needs.

This year, I wanted to replace the carpet throughout the house with the same. After getting several bids, it was clear that CCH was the best price BY FAR. They even worked with me and the manufacturer to get extra discounts since I would need to redo the kitchen as well to match the latest LVP version. They finished the job (~1900 sqft) in just about 4 days and they even helped move many items including disassembling my master bed, at no additional cost! The team is super respectful, and the attention to detail (while not perfect) far exceeds what I would expect given their competitive price point. I am also really impressed with Mark's responsiveness over text, providing updates and responding to concerns - including after hours! His and his team's level of customer service, again, is really top tier. For example, when his team accidentally broke a couple of ethernet cables, he offered to deduct the cost from the bill right away. And at the end of the job, he encouraged me to compile a punch list of any issues that needed to be addressed in a return visit, which should happen very soon. Despite pretty much all of the work being finished - he has not asked for the 2nd half follow up payment yet - not until they complete the punch list at the followup visit. Really commendable company! I also love the music the install team plays during their work (they are also willing to turn it off if the customer needs it quite). So I was thrilled that they were willing to send me the youtube play list. Happy to recommend this company for your next flooring needs! Value was there, and everyone we dealt with seemed authentic, relaxed, with no "sales pitch" and no "artificial" tone. Their installers came out and did a wonderful, professional job. We couldn't be happier with the end result. I deal with a lot of home improvement vendors throughout the Bay Area because of my line of work. I'm keeping Diablo Flooring at the top of my flooring list.

S&G had already been recommended to me, and so I called them first. Kendall, customer service, was the first person I talked to. She was very helpful and accommodating. She let me know that their prices were very competitive, and that they would try to meet or beat other estimates. Dylan was the estimator. He was very informative, and I was also able to call him later to get more of my specific questions answered. Brian (store manager) was the final person I talked to, before signing the contract. I had a lot of concerns about re-installation of the toilet in the bathroom, since there is only one toilet in the house. When the installation crew came out, they did end up working longer hours than they planned, but they stayed and finished the job in one (long) day. There were some problems; however, all of them eventually got solved: (A) the installers decided not to install an under- layer of plywood in the bathroom; but I was re-imbursed for this. (B) the toilet ended up not being installed correctly; but fortunately, I had already hired a contractor to re-install my sink and dishwasher, and he was able to adjust the toilet flange - at additional expense! However, again, S&G re-imbursed me for some of the additional contractor fees. (C) Lastly, there were several scratches and smudges on some of the tiles that were installed. S&G came out and replaced these tiles at no charge. Special thanks to Justin, regional manager, who was especially helpful at resolving all my issues. Of the companies I called, S&G was the quickest to respond, the most helpful to answer my questions, and the lowest price. Installing new flooring in my home was not problem-free, but S&G was good to work with and helped me every step of the way! I recommend them highly!

Five Stars for Pacific Coast Carpet! Pacific Coast Carpet recently installed vinyl flooring throughout the bottom floor of my home, including the living room, dining room, and kitchen, and they did a fabulous job! I chose oak-colored vinyl, and it turned out absolutely gorgeous--better than I could have imagined. The team of three--Sergio (the lead), Mike, and Israel--were incredibly professional, friendly, and hardworking. Each of them tackled a section of the house with great efficiency, completing the entire project in just two days. Their good spirits and teamwork made the process smooth and enjoyable. They didn't just stop at installation--they also gave me excellent tips on how to maintain the flooring, which I really appreciated. This place is absolutely great I cant belive I'm the first to yelp. My "associate" was Suzy, she was so wonderful and helpfull. She didn't take advantage of the fact that I'm a first time homeowner and know nothing about cost of carpets. I got a few different estimates and they were well below everyone else, infact 20% less then Empire Today (even with their supposed 60% off sale). The carpet came right on time as promised, and the installers were there at 8am. They cleaned up and did such a great job, it looks beatiful and really is the softest carpet I've ever walked on. I wouldn't hesitate to use Pacific Coast again, and I'm reccomending to all my friends. AWESOME! read more

I am absolutely delighted with the service I received. I am remodeling my kitchen and I did not know which way to go with my floor. I had sample of the granite I selected for my counter tops and Suzie took over from there. We were able to pick out several samples and she suggested I take them home and live with them a couple of days to see what worked. Everyone there was really helpful. Suzie setup an appointment to measure my kitchen and was there on time and had some great suggestions after we selected my flooring. I am baffled by the unprofessionalism of these people. Not only did they accept my "down payment" and not return any if my calls for multiple days, but when I sent my husband to the shop, he said they were very rude and raised their voices at him, even threatening him! The first was about ten years ago for another portion of our house, and once again they did an outstanding job. They were helpful in selecting a flooring pattern that matched our previously installed floors, and the estimating and scheduling process was straightforward and easy. The installation crew paid close attention to detail, and you can tell from the work around corners, transitions, and trim that they take pride in their craftsmanship and quality. We also appreciated how transparent they were regarding areas where our subfloor was uneven (which we knew would be a problem going into the job). They assessed the condition, explained the available options, and then corrected the subfloor so the planks could be installed the right way. Having a section of our hallway flat when it's been uneven for years has been a great bonus. It's reassuring to know a company like this exists in Concord. Fleury's is the only place I would use for flooring in the future.

Fast forward to present day and time to replace 30yr old original carpeting upstairs. Because our prior experience with Fleury's went so well, naturally we returned to them for phase 2. I started with Chris at the store to present the project and he made suggestions for makers and brands to best match the Brazilian Cherry we had downstairs. Patrick was up next with onsite inspection, measurements, and bringing over samples. A complementary (and upgraded) product was chosen and install timeline was set. Javier and Kiko were next on the scene and took only 5 days to demo carpet, prep and level subfloor, and install flooring and baseboards in 4 bedrooms and a hallway. Patrick came by a couple times to check on progress and made a great suggestion to add additional underlayment. That - combined with their tried and proven method of gluing and nailing down the floor - made for the most solid-feeling hardware floor installation I've ever encountered. I'm a pretty picky customer, so when I tell you their craftsmanship, attention to detail, and finish skills are top notch - believe it. Prices and labor these days are pretty much standard all around. But if you receive this level of workmanship and flawless results, you sleep better knowing you made the right decision. Can't say enough about my experience with Fleury's. 10/10

This product costs $10 a box which means, my bill of several thousand dollars was paying for the craftsmanship to install. JR told us, they will smooth your flooring out to make it even so there are no dips and valley. To prep, I had to remove my bath sink & toilet and remove my shutters to my sliding door. You pay half at start and other half of payment after installation. Installation guys were nice & professional. They did ask me a wee bit late which direction I wanted the flooring, as they had installed it the opposite direction I wanted. Without batting an eye, they pulled it up and changed it to my liking. After leaving and a few days later, the step layer piece (one step down from one room to other) started to pull off. Also, I notice the flooring had a lot of air pockets under the vinyl; they did not even the flooring prior to installation. We taped many spots where the flooring had air pockets to show JR. The owner ended up coming out and was not great at a resolution saying, it was a floating floor. I would not pay my second payment and eventually, they did come back to pull up flooring and even it out. I am happier about floor but I should not ever had to call back; it should have been done properly the first time. One error I made, I did not have them fix my baseboards. After putting them back on, they left the nails showing so now I have to take time from my life to fix.

She ordered additional samples and let us take our time picking our flooring, she was always at the other end of the phone responding quickly to questions through the entire process. Peiman was our project manager and came to our house to accurately access and bid the job. He was very easy to work with and nailed the speedy timeline we gave him on a completed project! The crew of installers were totally professional, polite, and mericuly with their work. Our new floors are beautiful! We are extremely happy with Mccurleys!

I wanted to revisit and do an update on the quality of these floors. They look brand new still! The floors are so easy to clean and I have had no issues with buckling or shifting after water damage. They really are waterproof . I just bought another house and I plan on having them do my entire house because their prices are incredible but it's the quality that I'm coming back for. 10 out of 10 Service definitely recommend.

I have an eye for attention to detail and their crew was above and beyond in how they did the flooring, going the extra mile for things that normally would be a quick shortcut for contractors hoping the customer would miss it but they didn't take any shortcuts. They were reasonably priced - not the highest or the lowest quote but Jonathan was what sold us on the work and we're more than happy to have gone with him and have recommended him to other neighbors. There's a reason why they are so backed up with work! They're popular for a good reason. They're finishing up the work today and the guys are respectful, clean up after themselves and super nice to chat with.
