Miriam's lack of organization, poor time management, and unprofessional demeanor completely changed what should have been a simple appointment into an unpleasant experience. An appointment was apparently lost or mishandled, and instead of trying to resolve the problem professionally, the interaction was made worse by the tone of voice and attitude I encountered. Customer service is often the first impression people have of a business, and unfortunately, that impression was disappointing. Patients expect courtesy, efficiency, and respect, especially when they are taking time out of their day for a medical appointment. In this case, I experienced the opposite. The dentists may provide excellent care, but the front office needs significant improvement when it comes to communication, accountability, and professionalism. Sadly, this experience was enough for me to take my business elsewhere.

Dentists are notorious for recommending work just to make money. Before paying I decided to go back to Dr. Lusch for a second opinion and so glad I did! Everything the previous dentist told me was completely unnecessary! Dr Lunch is honest and will watch any areas of concern that do not develop into an issue without recommending resolution if not necessary. Needless to say I switched back and still come every six months always greeted by the friendly staff. Angela is my hygienist and is fantastic. They have a good thing going with a large client base and have recommended them to many of my family and friends who are all happy. 5 stars are well deserved in this case. Try and see!

I received no follow-up until the day before my appointment, so I called to reconfirm. I was reassured that I had nothing to worry about -- that my general cleaning and check-up would be fully covered by insurance. On the day of my visit, right before the x-ray, I asked again if there would be any out-of-pocket cost. They had me wait about 20 minutes in the x-ray room before returning to confirm that it would be 100% covered. Based on that assurance, I went ahead with the procedure. Two weeks later, I received a bill for the x-ray...!! When I called to ask about it, I was told it was ultimately my responsibility to understand my insurance coverage. But as a patient, there's no way for me to distinguish between a "basic" or "preventive" x-ray -- and I relied on the office's guidance. To make matters worse, the bill they sent had my name spelled incorrectly. That kind of error, along with the misinformation, does not inspire confidence. I also wonder why a non-preventive x-ray was even billed during a routine cleaning appointment. If this was just a standard check-up, why was the x-ray categorized in a way that isn't considered preventive and therefore not fully covered? It's not about the amount of the bill -- it's about the lack of reassurance, accountability, and transparency. The doctor and dental hygienist were just okay, but after this experience, I don't feel comfortable coming back.

He said everyone in the office is very nice and their cleaning is excellent. My dad is very critical and when he told me this I decided to book myself an appt. I went in and experienced the same experience my dad did. Everyone from the front office to the back office were friendly. Christy took my X-rays and she made me laugh and engaged with me as if we knew each other for a long time. Dr Cheng reviewed my X-rays and he is wonderful. Very down to earth and excellent attitude towards patients. He answered all my questions. I can't forget to mention Diana who helped me from the beginning to set up my appt. She uses text to communicate with me and I love it! I didn't know how to see if I still had coverage after I retired and she said she can call for me. She gave me the run down on my plan and she also booked my appt. Dana the dental hygienist is one of 3 in the office. She did an excellent job cleaning my teeth. She took her time and made sure she got all the plaque off my teeth. She does a thorough job at explaining rationale and process. I highly recommend this office.
