Dr. Massih was referred to me by my primary dentist. My smile was okay, but I had some crowding that I wanted to address in order to feel more confident in it. I knew I wanted to start Invisalign, so I went in for a consultation in October of 2024, where Evita was very thorough when explaining what I should expect in the process, the differing lengths in visits throughout my treatment, and most importantly, a transparent and comprehensive view of the finances that went into my treatment. Throughout my treatment, the team was able to accommodate my appointments to my schedule, the let me know if payments had to go out at a different time than agreed upon, I was always sent texts for appt confirmation, and my visits were timely and consistent. When adjustments had to be made, Dr. Massih was sure to let me know exactly what would happen next and gave me timeline of events as my teeth moved. I finished my treatment a little before I was set to finish, which was a nice surprise. After 2 years and 2 months, I am out of my braces! On the day of de-bonding from metal braces, I was able to receive both of my Essix retainers (I paid extra for my second) the same day since they're made in house. I initially found her office through my own research when looking for an orthodontist in my area and am glad to have found and chosen them! I went in for Invisalign treatment, and the process of initial imaging for aligners, addition of attachments and bands, removal of attachments and imaging for retainers were all well and skillfully done. I don't usually take the time to write Yelp reviews, but I found Dr. Massih through Yelp and decided to give her a chance after reading all of the amazing reviews, so this might make a difference for someone. Let me start off by saying that I've had really bad experiences with my orthodontic treatment in the past. One experience involved me getting my teeth straightened with Clear Correct (similar to Invisalign), and the other involved getting regular braces. I found both through Groupon and decided they were good deals. I never completed my Clear Correct treatment because the Orthodontist I found filed my teeth without telling me what he was doing, and he kept billing my insurance for treatments I didn't want or need. So on top of the "deal" I paid for through Groupon, I was also billed for Orthodontic treatment through my insurance. The second time around, my teeth were straightened with regular braces. I completed the treatment in a little over a year and was really happy with the end result, but the problem was the retainers. They weren't cut properly and so they hurt every time I wore them. They would dig into my gums and cut the inside of my cheeks, so I stopped wearing them and my teeth shifted again. Which brings me to Massih Orthodontics. Third time's a charm! I was finally done with Groupon deals and decided to establish care with an Orthodontist and to see the treatment through to the end. So I looked through Yelp and found Massih Orthodontics. I chose Dr. Massih, not only because she was 10 minutes away from my home, but also because of the amazing reviews. Setting up the free consultation was easy and when I told her about my history with orthodontic treatment, she really put me at ease and reassured me that she would be thorough and make sure that I was happy with the progress and end result. Dr. Massih explained all of my options, the differences among each, and approximately how long each would take. We decided on Invisalign. Lupe explained my payment options and worked with me when my insurance wouldn't cover part of the treatment. She even helped me figure out a way to pay with Care Credit to avoid paying interest for 6 months. Here I am about a year later and my treatment is done. I've received my (pain-free) retainers and can't be happier with the results. The entire process was amazing. Dr. Massih always answered all of my questions. I never felt like I was being rushed. She took her time to examine my teeth and she addressed all of my concerns and problem areas. Lupe and Salpi were very communicative. I appreciated the phone calls and text reminders for my appointments. And Lupe even printed a schedule for me to remind me when to change out my aligners every two weeks. The entire staff is caring and has great attention to detail. Ending my treatment was bittersweet because they really made this the best experience. We came to Massih Orthodontics after Araksy Avakian, who unfortunately she retired and sold her business, office and patients to Massih. That's why last 6 months Massih was responsible for our treatment. We didn't have any option to stop and restart our treatment with another doctor, but in comparison with Dr. Avakian this doctor wasn't good. I went to Dr. Massih for Invisalign to fix an overbite that wasn't resolved by my childhood orthodontist. Everyone on staff was helpful and warm. I went in dreading the use of the putty mold trays that traumatized me as a child, but they had state-of-the-art equipment that made everything a breeze. I was in a bind, our daughter lost her new bag of rubber bands. Our orthodontist is in Century City and we don't have an appointment for two weeks, and it's going to be her braces removal. We didn't want to slow the process so I was in need of a bag, stat. Where do we get these other than an orthodontist, right? The office staff was amazing and accommodating, even though we don't use their services, they didn't hesitate gifting us a bag of bands (and waited for us although they were on lunch). What a great orthodontist and office staff! My son is not a patient at this office, but they still saw him and fixed an issue for us. His wire came out and was digging into his cheek, but our orthodontist office is always closed on Friday. I called several orthodontists, and they said that they could not treat him, even though I offered to pay. I called Dr. Massih's office and they said yes! Not only did they fix his wire, but they also did it at no charge out of the kindness of their heart! After checking out a few adult orthodontists (most of which wanted to pull 4 of my teeth - yikes!) I was so happy to find Dr. Massih, who thought we could make room to fix the crowding by widening my (fairly narrow) bite. I had a lot of attachments and even rubber bands. i previously went here 2 years ago to get a retainer made and have come back to them now for a second retainer. this go around, they are only out for money. i've called a dozen times telling them the retainer doesn't fit and their only resolution is to pay more for a new retainer, with no guarantee that will fit either. terrible customer service or willingness to help rectify. they only care about money, which is already more expensive than other places. now i'm stuck with a $300 piece of plastic that won't fit and they couldn't care less. would not recommend.
