Eggs, sausage and garlic potatoes side

Decided to visit on a trip to the Emerald Island casino as it is just a small walk away it is a nice local diner with an interior larger than I would have originally expected. I arrived around lunch time there was only a couple other patrons and I was welcomed in by the staff. The server was very attentive if not a bit over attentive consistently checking if I needed anything or wanted more coffee which meant I had as much coffee as I wanted and I had a lot since it is pretty tasty. As for the food itself I ordered a stack of the banana walnut pancakes with strawberries & whipped cream and in a combo with eggs, sausage and garlic potatoes. The food was good I enjoyed the garlic potatoes a lot and the pancakes were also decent however not much of a banana flavor was to be found unfortunately. I did walk away satisfied with my meal and not finishing all of it due to the large portion of the pancakes the only real sticking point was the cost prior to tip being close to $28 which is a bit much for breakfast although I ordered one of the pricier items but making coffee or any other drink $4 is pricey compared to similar breakfast/brunch establishments. As compared to the emerald island grille which I view as the closest competitor pacific diner is better in quality their coffee alone is way better than anything at Emerald however the cost is much higher especially for most breakfast items where the cost is double that of the same item at Emerald. Overall I would recommend trying this place out and I will return to try some of the other menu items I am interested in.

I would really only recommend this please to the older folks it gives up a very grandma and grandpa restaurant. The service is good The girls are very, very nice. They sent us down for us and then we got our food pretty fast. BUT when I got the food it was burnt the hashbrowns, my eggs even the bottom pieces of my toast my husband food wasn't. As I like to say it's not how it look it's how it taste but I'm sorry to say the taste just wasn't there The more restaurants I go to it just seemed the chef does not take pride in the food that they cook anymore because how are you going to serve one person with non-burnt food and the other person with burnt food and think you're proud of the food that you just served to your paying customers. Just stop and think to yourself is this food you will be happy to send out to your mom? Stop the complaint/the bad reviews before it happens

Came in for breakfast with a day spent hanging out with my parents. It wasn't busy on this Friday morning but it wasn't empty either. There were a good amount of people dining in. The restaurant is cute and pretty clean, so it was nice to be inside. I will say I wasn't a huge fan of the lighting but not every place can have big ole windows for natural light. This actually gave the place a midwestern-y feel, like diners in Kansas. Our server was great. She checked in on us a lot and gave us updates as to when stuff was coming out. She really made us feel at home and I appreciated that. The food was super good. My western omelet was one of the best I've had in a while, super cheesy and cooked to perfection. The hashbrowns tasted a little like old/burnt oil, but they were perfectly crispy. My dad got the steak and eggs and he let me have a little bite of steak. Excellent! The also seem to serve some really good quality breads with their meals.

    Coffee on point!

Food, service, and ambiance was perfect! Food was delicious and homemade. Not greasy. Coffee did not disappoint. We are vacationing from Texas!

Came in with party of 8 for lunch. Seating was quick and our server friendly. She brought our drinks quickly and then took our orders. I opted for the mushroom Swiss burger with onion rings. It's a huge burger patty and I took half home. Onion rings very crispy and delicious. Everyone enjoyed their lunch. Our server checked on us frequently and brought drink refills quickly. It's a cute diner in old Henderson. Easy parking and clean inside. I'd like to come back for breakfast. Prices reasonable with large portions.

Amazing food and especially the breakfast selection....can't go wrong with the first meal of the day. Give them a try and you won't be disappointed.

An all American diner starting with the display of US flags by the cashier as you enter. Seems like a good place for people in the neighborhood to meet or tourists like us passing through town. Food came out quickly, many refills for Doc's coffee. I enjoyed their French vanilla iced coffee. Loved the look of the pastrami sandwich on Rye with the dill pickle and onion rings so crispy and good.

Started the table with fresh brewed coffee and waters. I'm sure it gets busy as the later in the morning it gets. We got there 10 minutes to 8 and barely anyone was there- one customer and us plus the friendly staff. Food was quick and very enjoyable 15/10. We shared a chocolate chip pancake. I got French toast + a combo. Scrambled eggs, bacon, and extra crispy hash browns. Then my husband infamous biscuits and gravy, 8.5/10. It's a big open place that can accommodate seating if you get here early. We'll be coming back!

My husband and I wanted to try Pacific Diner as we've read a lot of recommendations on this restaurant. It's open for breakfast/brunch and lunch. There wasn't a wait, we were seated quickly in a booth. (We were asked if we wanted a booth or table). Upon perusing the menu and while drinking our coffee for me and Diet Pepsi for my husband, we decided it would be breakfast for us. I ordered the French toast breakfast and my husband ordered the two eggs breakfast with bacon, hash browns and white toast. Our waitress was awesome! She was funny and attentive. Our meals were delivered quickly and arrived hot. Everything was delicious. We enjoyed every bite. I recommend dining here. I took half my French toast home. I am happy we came here.

It was busy (weekend) and had a short wait (about 15 minutes). I opted for the #3 Bacon ang Eggs (4 pieces), choose side of spuds and sourdough toast. The scrambled eggs were very good I like to add Tabasco sauce, the bacon was cooked very well and tasty. I learned previously from some veteran patrons of Omelet House you need to get those spuds ordered *extra crispy* (and a side of cheese sauce if you're in the mood). I never got my sourdough toast however. My wife opted for the huevos rancheros which is her go-to favorite, and was not disappointed at all. Very delicious. The rest in our group had a great time and enjoyed their food as well. We did have a little trouble getting refills (maybe it was break time) but overall we had a good experience.

Pink Duck Kitchen is a local Filipino-American fusion brunch restaurant that has maintained solid Yelp ratings and recently garnered a spot on the Las Vegas Review-Journal's Top 100 restaurants of 2025. Seeing as how it's the last Henderson spot which I hadn't tried, I decided to rectify that oversight today. I was thinking breakfast at first, but the Lamb Sandwich ($17.99) caught my eye. After clarifying the form of protein with the server, I said yes to this offering. I'm glad I did because it's a stunner. To start with, the bun is nice and soft. The pulled lamb is so tender and surprisingly free from gamy flavor, and whatever it's braised in does so much work making it irresistibly tasty. Then the tzatziki creaminess, tomato umaminess, and even the banana pepper tanginess really round out the flavors. Even the cucumber slices are perfectly portioned to add some crispiness and flavor. Fries come with the sandwich. I was hesitant since they were thick and also very brown. Fortunately, they were soft and fluffy inside, and there was enough crisp from the potato skins. They were actually a little undersalted too, but when I finally flagged down the server for some ketchup, I unlocked the code. The fries are just about perfect with a healthy amount of that Heinz goodness. I did get a bite of breakfast though. My friend's Ube Pancakes ($14.99) were cited as a dish to try on that top 100 list, and I can see why. There's plenty of ube flavor, and a good balance of a lightly crispy exterior and soft interior. The fresh mango and berries were a great touch, as was the whipped cream on the side. I'll have to have a full dish for myself one day. It wasn't as packed when we arrived as I was anticipating; I guess Sunday brunch invites a late-morning crowd though, since it started filling up. Music was top 40 stuff and not too loud. Really my only issue was the water not being ice cold. I've gotta come back to Pink Duck Kitchen since they have such a fun variety on their menu and they're one of the closest interesting restaurants to my side of town. If you live across town, it's actually drive-worthy for that lambwich alone.

We arrived at 11am, and while the vibe inside was lively and the decor was really cool (modern with Pink Duck vibes), we hit a bit of a snag right away. Despite seeing several empty tables, we were told there'd be about a 15-minute wait. Honestly, that was a little frustrating, especially when you're hungry and can clearly see open spots. We almost considered trying somewhere else, but decided to stick it out. And I'm so glad we did, because from the moment we were seated, the service was absolutely stellar! Our server, gave us great recommendations and made sure our drinks were always full. The rest of the staff we interacted with were equally friendly and efficient, they really turned the initial annoyance around. The fusion dishes here aren't just creative for creativity's sake; they're genuinely well-executed and thoughtfully balanced. $15.99 Fried Chicken & Ube Waffle - This was my dish, loved it. $16.99 Banana Nut Bread French Toast with Carmelized "Banana Cue" We went family style on this and I would order again. $16.99 Pork Belly Burger $15.99 Breakfast Burrito Everything felt fresh, vibrant, and celebrated both Filipino and American culinary traditions without either overpowering the other. The creativity in combining these flavors was executed well. I'd definitely visit Pink Duck again to sample more interesting dishes I saw on the menu. Mabuhay!

The roast beef and Havarti were excellent, but a couple of things really made this sandwich stand out. I love horseradish, and their creamy horseradish sauce was right up my alley. I also loved the crunchy Parmesan-crusted sourdough. That cheesy, crispy crust added great flavor and texture. The greens on the side were fresh and provided a nice break from the richness of the sandwich. My wife had the parfait and especially loved the granola, which was her favorite part. They were out of the blueberry muffin, so she received a pumpkin muffin instead. The pumpkin muffin was good, although we thought it would have been even better with a little icing. One other tip: sign up for First Watch emails. We received a buy-one-entrée, get-one-free offer by email and were able to use it on this visit. That's a pretty nice perk and made an already enjoyable meal an even better value. Between the delicious food, friendly professional service, and clean, welcoming atmosphere, we really enjoyed our visit. We'll definitely be back.
