Don't go here!!! I love the pacific east on Coventry and the one in woodmere but this one sucks. They give you half as much fish in the rolls as the other 2 stores, the any 2 or any 3 roll menu items don't come with soup and salad like the other shops, the service is super slow, and the order by app or order by kiosk (no servers) is dumb. DELICIOUS. Like seriously, absolutely yums. I've been here multiple times and always get carry out. Bubble tea is flavorful and has excellent variety not only in tea flavors, but also in the bubble options. I have yet to be disappointed! For food the hibachi chicken is great, as is the shrimp roll. I like to pair these with veggies, like the mango garden salad or steamed mixed veggies. I just love the sauces that come with these veggies! Yuzu, yum yum, teriyaki. Great flavor! But the best... the absolute BEST... is the LOBSTER ROLL. Okay, it comes with a high price tag but oh my goodness, if you ever want to treat yourself, you have GOT to order the lobster roll. It has avocado and mango. And combined with that buttered bun, wow, heaven on earth. And you know, for an Asian restaurant, the fries are actually better than you'd expect -- really crunchy and yummy! The only potential con is that it can sometimes take a bit to get the food. But I've been coming here for months and I've noticed their food wait times have gotten much better. Overall, HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I hope they stay. You know the fastest way to ruin an otherwise delicious shrimp sandwich? A poop pipe! Yep, the shrimp in the sandwich here are not deveined! It takes about a minute to clean the poop vein out of the back of a shrimp. Why skip this step I'm not sure, but I was immediately not hungry anymore when I discovered this shortcut during the third bite into my sandwich. I thought, oops maybe one slipped passed quality control! On closer examination however, ALL of the shrimp in the sandwich had a big, black, poop pipe running inside of them. Sounds gross? THATS BECAUSE IT IS. I gave this place two stars instead of one because the staff seemed great, the order was fast and hot and if it wasnt for the shrimp poop, my sandwich would have been a complete winner. Totally unacceptable guys, when it is so. easy. to. avoid. General rule of thumb: poop is pretty much always a bummer when it is in your food. Booo. read more

For This one I struggled between 3 or 4 stars because the price is too high for what you get BUT the food was good and tasty. I ordered the warm shrimp Roll with lemon butter, house mayo, avacado. Don't get me wrong, I know it's seafood but $14 for a small Sandwich and some fries is a little steep and left me still hungry. It was a very enjoyable sandwich but when I spend that much for a sandwich I don't want to be able to eat another meal afterwards. Maybe I am being cheap and maybe if I was not still hungry the price would have been okay. Also when you get changed $1 more for yum yum sauce when you are already buying a premium item it's just penny pinching. Sauces should come with it. The food just isn't that great. The gyoza and shumai were pretty over cooked. I feel like the udon was pretty salty and also the vegetables were overly bitter. The onions were undercooked and still burned a bit, in a way I didn't expect onions stir fried in a yaki udon to taste. The miso soup that I ended it with was overly salty as well, with little actual miso flavor. At least the edamame was alright, and the boba was decent, if maybe a bit too sweet. If I come back I'd probably get low sweet levels next for boba. I'd say for our here in Ohio I kind of expect this kind of food for Asian food. If you're looking for real good Japanese noodles, I'd say this isn't the place read more

Was really looking forward to this place. Seems like they don't have their act together quite yet. When ordering online, I noticed the prices seemed pretty high. I figured the portions must be pretty large to make up for the high prices. We got an order of the chicken yakisoba, chicken fried rice, spring rolls, and a guava bubble tea. Living in Crocker Park, we strolled over and arrived at 12:25, to pick up at 12:30. I called, as the email receipt directed me to do, and was told it would be ready in 5 minutes. 15 minutes later, we receive our food. We take the walk back to our apartment, only to realize the fried rice wasn't in the bag. We called the restaurant, where the worker claims he called back to inform us about the miscue. Seems good on his part, except we never received a call. Huh. We decided to not even bother going to pick it up after that. The $10 yakisoba was average, and VERY tiny. Same with the $4 spring rolls. We got 4 spring rolls, each bite size. Not worth the price. If you want Asian inspired food in Crocker Park, I'd recommend Bibibop. More efficient ordering process, both in person and online. They didn't seem ready to open, and they likely won't be open that long. read more

Just tried the newly opened Pacific East at Crocker Park. Lots of choices of foods and many options to go with them. The bubble tea drinks are good, especially the Matcha and Thai tea. Both fruit and chicken salads are great, and the light dressings are just right to my taste. Kids like their shrimp sandwich roll and chicken hibachi with yum yum sauce. Overall very satisfied with the foods. Glad Pacific East is now available on the West! read more

We decided to try Pacific East as it was new and replaced another eatery. The place looks nice and wide open with the inside dining area open to the patio. Inside one can order on the tablet, which nowadays is not acceptable. While covered with plastic every diner touches to order. We ordered Chicken Yakisoba and Hibachi Chicken with Stir-fry Noodles. It took 30 minutes which we thought was just OK. Both dishes were very poor. The chicken in both dishes was very badly over-cooked and impossible to eat. Both dishes including vegetables and noodles had no sauce and were tasteless. Too bad!! No need to go back there. This first impression lost the customers. read more

Stopped at Crocker park for some shopping I heard about pacific east and how good it was and thought I'd try it out. I got a strawberry dairy boba milk tea. The milk was really thick, the boba was hard, and overall it wasn't a very good drink. I don't think I will be coming back. read more

The kani mango avocado salad was beautiful to look at and refreshing. sashimi was melt in your mouth fresh. The sushi rolls were well crafted. Teapot was pretty. Tea nicely steeped. The best bubble tea I've ever had! We got two black sugar milk teas, one with foam and the other without. We both got normal black tapioca pearls. The flavor was great and the savory foam helped to balance the sweetness of the drink. If you don't like things that sweet, I'd say to ask for less sweet when you order. We walked in and ordered and despite how busy they were (and the current circumstances) the process was really quick! The tablets to order on are also super convenient. I'm excited to try more flavors in the future, as well as ramen when they start serving it! read more

I usually don't write reviews on Yelp, but truly felt the need to give Pacific East 5 stars. This review only pertains to their boba/bubble tea, which is honestly sufficient to give it 5 stars and should be enough of a reason to go there. I also noticed that there weren't many reviews, and given some of them seemed to reflect turbulence in their early days of opening, figured I'd write one. I begin by saying that I have had plenty of boba in New York City and California. So I am familiar with . There are only three "true" boba locations as far as I know in Cleveland: Koko Bakery (Asiatown), Kung Fu Tea (East Side), and now Pacific East. KFT is not bad, but is quite average in a national sense. Koko Bakery is alright too, but wasn't anything exceptional. Of course, this is the one and only boba place on the west side. (And for the record, a blended slushy with stiff tapioca balls is not true boba!) I can comfortably say that Pacific East is much better than these other two locations in Cleveland, and is closer to being on par with some of the east and west coast boba locations I've had. Sure it's not boba guys, but it's really good! My family and I have so far tried four of the teas over multiple visits: Matcha, Milk, Taro, and Brown Sugar; for toppings we have tried lychee jelly, green apple stars, green tea jelly, and the regular tapioca. There are no complaints, it's truly excellent. The milk tea is quite standard but does an excellent job. The brown sugar, while not as aesthetically pleasing as Tiger Sugar in Manhattan, tastes great, a bit more on the milky side than the sugary side. The matcha felt a bit powdery, but I've even noticed this with matcha from higher end places too so I think this is standard. The bubbles are nice and soft, and the jellies are awesome too. Normally I think boba is better than jellies, but all of them are honestly really good. The best drink, by far, was the Taro. It was milky and had the purple taro flavor that's common across many boba places, but didn't suffer from feeling too chalky like most places make it. The bonus was that the bottom of the tea also had soft chunks of real natural taro! This is something you only find at higher end boba shops, and definitely isn't something you'd get at a place like Kung Fu Tea. Pacific East isn't perfect. I think it's a bit pricey -- bordering $6 for a larger drink -- although this is standard for East and West coast locations. I also wish they would introduce some more "tea" flavors. While I prefer this place to KFT, KFT does frankly have more choices between oolong, black tea, and green teas. But KFT is also a large chain that has been around for years. Pacific East is new, and this would be a place where they can grow. And the staff has been very friendly and polite whenever I've been there. Another flavor recommendation would be "creme bulee," which I've had it some locations in Philly and NYC. It's not easy to make, but something like this would be a true cherry on top. my friend and I shared a 4 roll lunch special, the sushi was awesome, the eel cucumber had a lot of sauce that saturated the other rolls on the bottom but other than it was great! Great food and great service. Was strolling around Crocker Park and stumbled upon this restaurant where Noodle Cat used to be. Agree with the other reviews that the bubble tea stands out here and the boba was the perfect texture. We also tried some of the appetizers, yaki soba dishes, and sushi. We tried this recently and we both liked it. The service is very slow and there aren't that many tables but if you can look past that it's good. The server was friendly when he finally came to our table. My husband tried a bubble drink and liked it. I took a sip and it was tasty. I didn't care for the soup or salad that comes with the meal but my husband liked them. I got shrimp and rice and it was good. It wasn't as warm as I would have liked but the flavor was good. My husband doesn't usually suggest going back to many restaurants but he said he'd like to try this place again. They just need to work on quicker service. There have been many different restaurants in this spot but all have failed. I hope this place succeeds but service will make or break them so they gotta make that a priority. Customers want fresh hot food and consistently reliable service so hopefully they put a priority on improving those areas. read more
