    Taro* Boba with Mango Bursts
    Kate A.

As of writing this review in February 2026, ownership just changed at this location. They don't yet have their liquor license but should buy the summer. We ordered a huge variety of rolls and salads and everything was prepared deliciously and quickly. I felt a little bad for the people behind us because we had a huge order and so theirs was delayed because of ours. But all things considered, the prep time was very good. we ordered a pretty big variety of rolls, seaweed salad, crab, salad, soup, dumplings, edamame, chicken, bowls, and a bunch of different bubble tea variations. Everything was really good and I definitely recommend checking out this location if you're on the side of town. if I had a choice, I'd probably go to the one on the east side, but that isn't where I was so we went here and it was definitely worth it. It's a cute little space with easy order tablets so nice for something a little quicker than a full sitdown meal.

One of the best places to get bubble tea in the Westlake area. The tea here is always fresh and delightful. Pictured here is the Millionaire's Fruit Tea, which was refreshing, pleasantly sweet, and filled with fresh fruit. And unlike the milk teas (which I also enjoy), it didn't trigger my lactose intolerance. I've also had the sushi here. It's a bit pricey given the portions, but they serve fresh high quality fish. A no frills establishment. You order via one of the kiosks in the front and pick up your order when your number is called. Friendly staff.

This is a very aesthetic place, and has outdoor seating on nice days. I see more people come for boba than food, but I like the food as well, and have eaten the "sushi bowl" (pick rice, pick protein, pick vegetables, pick sauce), and also gyoza on another occasion. But the bubble tea is where they shine with many fun options for flavors and toppings. You do have a bit of a waiting time since it is all made fresh. Order at the kiosk and wait until they call your number. Kitschy and fun!

I've only been here a couple of times and can only speak for the bubble tea. Their bubble tea is actually delicious! I've had many bad experiences at other places in the past but here at Pacific East they have te good bubbles. I highly recommend their Taro, Thi, and Brown sugar bubble teas! The popping boba is great as well if you're in the mood for a fun fruity burst! I don't have anything negative to say about the eatery, the place is very clean and neat with zen music in the background, and the staff was very speedy and polite! I'll definitely be back for more bubble tea in the future!

Decided to get boba tea after the movies. It was pretty good. The only problem was that we had to wait about 20 minutes for it to be prepared. To be fair to the establishment we went on Saturday afternoon around 3:00 PM. It was a chilly but sunny day, with a decent amount of people out ready to have fun. They only had two people working but they had a help wanted, ALL POSITIONS, sign on the door. Plus the man who took the orders was working hard and fast to make everything as quickly as possible without sacrificing quality. He was also polite and kind to my niece. All things considered, I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt. I hope they make it through this tough time on restaurants. Thanks for your hard work. I love the decorations here, there is a little plant wall and some colorful cylinders hanging from the ceiling.

Stopped in, not knowing what to expect, and was pleasantly surprised! Service was fast, everything was clean and the staff was very friendly. They prepared my sushi roll fresh and fast. I had one of their specialty rolls: the Hot Lady. It was exactly like I expected (spicy, but not too spicy). Now, be aware the menu here is pretty much just sushi and bubble tea, but if you like either of those, then Pacific East has a huge variety, made almost instantly while you wait. If you are ever around Crocker Park and don't have the time (or money) for the more expensive sit-down sushi place then you should definitely come here instead. I will definitely be coming back here!

Stopped by to try this place while in the area based on the Yelp ratings. The wait was very long. My daughters Boba tea was excellent. She said the spring rolls were very good. She liked the bowl except for the rice. She said it was too sweet. My sushi was not good. The lobster sauce ruined the rolls. I was very disappointed. Will not return.

We ordered for take out and they were pretty fast! Restaurant is smaller but very nicely decorated. They had a special menu for Friday dinner and we were able to order 3 rolls for $25. They were very basic rolls but it was good and fresh. My husband got the bowl and it was large. No pictures cuz we were starving and scarfed it down! The egg tart was absolutely delicious and flaky!

What a nice, quaint place! The service was very nice and the food was pretty good. The bubble tea was the best part. There aren't many good bubble tea places on the Far East side of Cleveland so when we visited Westlake for the weekend, this place was awesome. I will definitely be back! The only small couple complaints I had was that the sushi had a little too much rice for my liking, and the Takoyaki balls were so small (but so good)!

I went to Pacific East for my birthday because I was craving for ramen. I read good reviews about this place and I was curious to try and see if the flavor was good. We ordered for appetizer the shrimp and vegetables tempura, for entrees Tonkotsu Ramen and Chicken Udon, and for dessert we ordered Crème brûlée Bubble tea. I enjoyed everything we ordered! They were really good. Their prices are not cheap. But I think is worth it for a special occasion. I would recommend this place!

Travel to Cleveland for work again! We stay at Crocker park and wanted some Asian (all the time!) We got bubble tea and Hibachi chicken, everything was good! You can order on the computer and social distance! The good thing is the service still the best, the guy who took care of us was super nice and make me want to comeback again. Thank you for your good food and service

This is my niece's favorite places, we come when we can to celebrate her birthday or good grades. I definitely understand, their boba tea and bubble tea are superb. My niece got the boba tea which is always a great choice and she got the cream brûlée option and loved. I got the millionxxx bubble tea and it was definitely the best tea I've ever had. It came with green tea and a bunch of fruits in there; it was mad refreshing! We also grabbed food there as well and that was very good as well. I got the fried dumplings and they are made to order so they were super fresh. Highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a great place to grab food and great fun drinks!

East side and west side - which don't talk to each other (1 of 2)…read more In this metro area, there is a sharp divide in that what is west of downtown and what is east of downtown don't tend to mix. It could be the distance, but that's no excuse since the freeways don't see traffic like the heavily trafficked cities in America. It's also that it's provincial! I was visiting a friend who lives in this very community on the west side and, since we sometimes visit the same restaurants, I dug up Arashi, located across the street from manicured Stepford-centric Crocker Park. Crocker Park is not a park, but a somewhat upscale mixed use retail-office-residential development. Arashi is a long-standing Japanese restaurant. I suggested it in part because I don't often eat Japanese food. Also, my friend has a few dietary restrictions and I am not a nutritionist. Eating Japanese food for lunch met with approval. As for me, I just avoid the few things I've known to have a negative effect on my digestive system as well as spicy food, the latter of which I flat out despise. They feature sensible lunch combinations. One can pick from the hibachi section of the menu or the regular section. We chose the exact same thing - hibachi chicken lunch - except that my friend had the mushrooms omitted. The chicken platter comes with rice and vegetables as well as soup. I also ordered the tea service. The latter is not free of charge like it might be in some Chinese restaurants. All of the food was very tasty. As for the soup, we ordered the miso soup and the onion soup. My onion soup was delicious. The problem, with which my friend concurred, is that the soup bowls were small. I could have had three times that amount of soup. I could have eaten more of everything! There is portion control at work. The interior of the restaurant is simple and tasteful, with only small hints of ethnic flavor. The regular restaurant is outboard by the windows, the room with the hibachi grill is inboard, and there is a bar between them. They have sushi and there are people who will order that, but I'm not one of them. The service was polite and got the job done. The pricing for the lunch specials seemed about right. My friend, who has lived in Europe for years as well as Asia for a few months, said arashi meant something but forgot to follow through. I looked it up and arashi means a storm or a tempest. From my L.A. days, I only know about 20 or 30 Japanese words, two of which have to do with climatic or geological matters - yuki and jishin. Yuki means snow and some Japanese women have this name. Jishin packs a meaner punch - it's an earthquake. So, rather than experiencing a jishin, I'd rather weather a fictitious storm (arashi) here and have a reliable low-key Japanese lunch.

I visited Kintaro Sushi and Hibachi for the first time on Sunday, 18 August 2024 in the late afternoon with my friend and fellow Yelper, Dr. Antonio P. FOOD -- They specialize in AYCE (All You Can Eat) Sushi and Hotpot. When I entered the restaurant, I noticed some yummy fried rice with steak and shrimp so maybe I'll order that next time, if I visit Kintaro again. I came to try the 'All You Can Eat' hotpot (soup) lunch for $17.99. You can eat as much as you want for 2 hours. They can charge extra for food waste so don't order too much. For their hotpot all you can eat, you are given a menu to mark off what you want added to your soup. I can't remember if I chose a pork based broth or a chicken broth but I think it was pork-based. The hotpot came with some beef strips (rolled up), ramen noodles, and cilantro. The broth didn't look as fresh as I would have liked when my food was initially brought to me but after adding the ingredients to the soup, it tasted fine. My soup needed flavour as it was bland so I had to stand up and go to the back of the restaurant to get some chili oil and sauces so that I could add that to my soup. When my food was brought out, it was actually a lot for 1 person so I don't remember finishing my soup. I did add all the ingredients into the hotpot and ate enough of it that I wasn't charged extra for food waste. Overall, the hotpot is decent. Customer service was friendly and efficient. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 114/250 total reviews in 2026 - 955 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 1 June 2026

When we got sat, it took around 15 minutes for a server to greet us and when she did, the energy shifted. I understand people have bad days but the tip percentage is decided upon the quality of service. A bitter attitude and a lack of attention is not the usual expectation when dining out. When our appetizer arrived, disappointed accompanied it. The Bang Bang Shrimp has always been a crowd favorite; this time around it was burnt yet soggy pieces of shrimp. The sauce was enveloped by the taste of frying oil, causing the flavor to be bitter. By the time our entrees arrived, morale was at an all time low but the first bite of my roll made up for it. The Ichiban roll is unique- asparagus with spicy salmon and yellow tail may sound bizarre but it works. I've come to the conclusion that Sakana is purely a sushi restaurant. I have never been displeased by the quality and flavor of the sushi. Henceforth I will be ordering off the sushi menu and I recommend you do the same.
