Came in for a light dinner and was not disappointed!! The food is fantastic, very relaxed vibes, and service was awesome - extremely attentive and friendly. The location and is great - right next to the lovely beach - perfect spot! There's also a nice little park nearby too. I wasn't terribly hungry but needed a light meal so I ordered the ahi tuna from their "bites" section and also a house salad with vinaigrette dressing. The ahi was fresh and soft and tasted wonderful. It also came with a creamy dipping sauce with a slight kick to it - it was excellent. The house salad was also very fresh, great quality and variety and portion was quiet large. Made for a great dinner. My server was just lovely and I had a great experience here. We stopped in here for dinner and right we walked in. They asked if we had a reservation. We did not have a reservation and luckily they had space to get us in right away, but in the future, we will probably make a reservation to ensure a table. My wife and I really enjoyed the clam chowder. We also loved the sweet potato fries. They were perfectly crispy on the outside, very soft and tender on the inside, and I loved the slight kick the sauce had. Always good food and ever changing menu. Have never had trouble finding something gluten and dairy free. I'm not generally a seafood person and usually find an option there. Or something seafood I do like. Like fish tacos etc We've always had knowledgeable wait staff and good service. The restaurant is a nice place close to the beach. read more

Okay so I feel bad that this place is three blocks from my house and I really want it to be good. But I'm pretty sure they only care about people that "look" like tourists. What does that look like? (Lol their 6-drink drink menu is obvi from xmas). The girl that makes them might hate me. Not sure why. We get food to go. Diablo bites are their signature iconic Georgie's Hallmark dish and we don't get the garlic toast that comes with them. Lol. My imaginary Pacific Kitchen in my head is like "make them never wanna come back." Seriously don't have any interest in coming here again. It seems like they don't want us to and that's fine. Pacific Kitchen definitely "scratched the itch" my partner and I were having for some tasty seafood. I opted for the Oregon shrimp melt while he had the Fisherman stew. Both dishes were tasty, though the stew was a smaller portion than we had been expecting and the shrimp melt became soggy pretty soon after arriving at our table (I'm sure this could just be fixed with having a sturdier bread). Despite these small criticisms, flavors were great, and I particularly enjoyed the poppyseed coleslaw that came with my meal. We ended our meal with an Oregon berry crumble, which was a delight - served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream; a perfect portion for sharing. Service was fast, friendly, and attentive. This is an adorable little restaurant right on Nye Beach, so you can access much of the "touristy" area surrounding Nye Beach on foot before/after eating here. The food is delicious, but if you are celiac I'd not try this place unless you stick with salad. They have a small kitchen and they will tell you they can't guarantee the items marked GF on their menu. I had the crab cake and house salad which were very good. The food for me tasted either frozen or microwaved. The clam chowder is mainly cream soup with little clams or potatoes. The halibut fish and chips were really good. The sirloin shrimp spicy cream pasta was gross. I didn't want to eat it, but was starving. It is really sweet, it's so weird. I don't want sweet meat and shrimp with chilis. Really bummed out and a big waste of money. I will not be back. There are so many great restaurants like the one behind. read more

After reading the Yelp reviews, we thought this place checked most of our boxes. They have both a parking lot and street parking available. Upon entering, we weren't really greeted, just asked how many in our party. I let her know we had reservations, then she seated us. Our server wasn't very friendly either...we felt like she may be filling in for someone...like she wasn't normally a server. Except for the not too inviting service, the food was absolutely delicious, hence the 4 star review. We ordered the Halibut Picatta and Fisherman Stew. No complaints here...both were on point and cooked perfectly for our tastes. We also ordered a Lavender Mojito, which was good as well. For dessert we ordered the Oregon Berry Crumble a la mode. It was super yummy! It had marionberries, strawberries, and blueberries. The oatmeal crumble on top was perfect. Overall a decent experience. This is a quality restaurant. They have coastal cuisine, burgers, and steaks. We ordered the oregon shrimp melt and the pacific pasta. The pasta was kind of unique in a good way. I don't often see a mix of beef and shrimp in a pasta but I guess it is a fun surf and turf. The spicy cream sauce married the two proteins into a complete dish. I have had crab melts at other resturants and this seemed on par. I don't now if I will order it again but this was hot and gooey but I think I would just want a tuna melt for a few bucks less. I see this place as popular with tourists and locals on a nice dinner out. My wife did suggest the next day that we eat there again. read more

We were a group of 6 and did not have a good experience. These are the reasons: 1- we made a reservation. We gave a courtesy call one hour prior, to reconfirm. We got to the restaurant and the hostess told us that there was a group that had just come in and had taken our table so we needed to wait. The party that sat down had no reservation 2- the food was average 3- the restaurant ran out of rice!!!! Now this was a first in my 50 years of life. How can a restaurant that sells many entrees with rice run out of rice on a Friday evening? We thought it was ridiculous. Rice is an extremely simple thing to have , cook and store. read more

We booked a reservation at this restaurant not knowing anything about it other than it gets 4 1/2 stars in the listed reviews. We were definitely not disappointed. The restaurant does not look like a fancy restaurant but the food we had could definitely make it into the menu of an expensive, upscale restaurant. We started the meal with a cup of the clam chowder and Tso's Cauliflower. The Chowder was creamy and full of tender clams. The Tso's Cauliflower was lightly breaded and the sauce was awesome. My wife ordered the Wild Salmon with the mango sauce and It ordered the Pacific Pasta with steak and shrimp. The food came out quick and was delicious. My wife said the Salmon was cooked perfectly and the mango salsa was awesome. My Pacific Pasta was very good. The creamy sauce was some-how both sweet and spicy. I have never tasted anything like it. Our waitress was Courtney. Her service was very good and she actually seemed happy (like she was having fun working). We will definitely come back to this restaurant next time we are in the area. Such a convenient location we had to try it. We walked fro. Our hotel, and were greeted immediately when we entered. I sincerely appreciate this, because it was obviously she was busy. He smears disappointed by the crab shooter, but to be honest, if he wanted more crab, he should have ordered a cocktail. The shooter was fine. The crab must have crawled up from the beach directly to our cook. He said the clam chowder was heavy with clams. Which is unique from our experience. I had a shrimp banh mi sandwich. The roll was so fresh, and the pickled vegetables were just the right amount of spice. They have double fried French fries, which, as you guessed are amazing. So we were seated on the sun deck, and to be honest, the service was kind of slow. But, when our server got to us, the first thing out of her mouth was "I amSI sorry I didnt know you were here." We had dinner last night at Pacific Kitchen and want to express just how good the food and cocktails were. Two of us had the seafood Louie ( crab & shrimp) . It was delicious with more fish than lettuce, along with hard boil egg, tomatoes, and avocado. Very large portions which we devoured. Our grandson had the calamari , another excellent choice. This is a cute place that offers indoor and outdoor seating within view of Nye Beach. The service was ok but we had to ask for silverware by getting up and looking for it after our entrees were set in front of us. The bread we ordered when the salads came so we expected a wait but we were almost done by the time it arrived. Small complaint and really not that impactful given how good everything else was. I'll get the only negative out of the way. Very cool that they have an a la carte section to the menu, but 2 of the 3 items I ordered were on the small size for the price paid. The food, service, packaging of the carry out were all exceptional. Their clam chowder is one of the best I've had, with meaty clams and a rich roux. I followed that with 3 a la carte items. The fried (halibut) fish was in fact a generous piece, perfectly cooked and a thick but not too thick crust. The burger was small, I would say mini slider, but otherwise was great, and the caramelized onions were incredible. We originally tried to dine without a reservation and they said there would be a 45 minute wait so we tried again this time with a reservation a were able to walk in and be seated right away. It was lunch time so not wanting a large meal order individual items off menu. I ordered the Blackened fish taco with mango and coleslaw and sautéed vegetables. Husband ordered the chili and crab cake as and after thought we added sweet potato fries. I was very happy with the flavor of the taco, very favorable and juicy. A little awkward to eat the tortilla needed to be slightly bigger. The sautéed veggies were perfect just the right snap and flavor was delish. Husband was okay with chili and crab cake. He said it was good. I tried and like the seasoning they used. The Sweet potato fries were delicious cut in large slices so when they were cooked there was softness in the center with a slightly crunchy outside.
