Came in for a light dinner and was not disappointed!! The food is fantastic, very relaxed vibes, and service was awesome - extremely attentive and friendly. The location and is great - right next to the lovely beach - perfect spot! There's also a nice little park nearby too. I wasn't terribly hungry but needed a light meal so I ordered the ahi tuna from their "bites" section and also a house salad with vinaigrette dressing. The ahi was fresh and soft and tasted wonderful. It also came with a creamy dipping sauce with a slight kick to it - it was excellent. The house salad was also very fresh, great quality and variety and portion was quiet large. Made for a great dinner. My server was just lovely and I had a great experience here. Prices are excellent - very reasonable for the area. Parking was ample - street parking or in the small lot. A great stop after walking the beach nearby.

We stopped in here for dinner and right we walked in. They asked if we had a reservation. We did not have a reservation and luckily they had space to get us in right away, but in the future, we will probably make a reservation to ensure a table. My wife and I really enjoyed the clam chowder. We also loved the sweet potato fries. They were perfectly crispy on the outside, very soft and tender on the inside, and I loved the slight kick the sauce had. The servers here were very attentive and stopped by time and time again to ask if we needed anything.

Stopped in here for a late lunch today--loved every single thing about it: IPA on tap, Winter Moscow Mule, clam chowder, Diablo Bites & sliders, all delicious! Ocean peeks from our table. Server was very nice and efficient; space was clean, and food came out nice and hot. We'll be back!

Our lunch here was great- after seeing tuna melts on just about all the menus we saw I finally had to try one and it really was excellent. The margarita flight was good and my husband enjoyed his clam chowder. Overall a nice experience!

We really enjoyed pacific kitchen,we both ordered the Halibut fish and chips, the fish was real meaty and the seasoned fries were excellent, even the ketchup was organic and tasted really good.I thought at first the 2 pieces of fish might not be enough, but it was more then enough really full,we will be back .

Okay so I feel bad that this place is three blocks from my house and I really want it to be good. But I'm pretty sure they only care about people that "look" like tourists. What does that look like? Not like me I guess. I've been here twice. Almost every table in the place was open and they wanted to put us at the crappy tiny bar. Why? I dunno. It's fine. We order drinks. They're fine. (Lol their 6-drink drink menu is obvi from xmas). The girl that makes them might hate me. Not sure why. We get food to go. Diablo bites are their signature iconic Georgie's Hallmark dish and we don't get the garlic toast that comes with them. Lol. My imaginary Pacific Kitchen in my head is like "make them never wanna come back." Seriously don't have any interest in coming here again. It seems like they don't want us to and that's fine. Amongst all that, please get different chairs. They're cheap crap. And probably accept that other people that aren't tourists live in Newport and want a good dining experience.

Oregon shrimp melt - served with poppyseed coleslaw (or fries) and a pickle.

Pacific Kitchen definitely "scratched the itch" my partner and I were having for some tasty seafood. I opted for the Oregon shrimp melt while he had the Fisherman stew. Both dishes were tasty, though the stew was a smaller portion than we had been expecting and the shrimp melt became soggy pretty soon after arriving at our table (I'm sure this could just be fixed with having a sturdier bread). Despite these small criticisms, flavors were great, and I particularly enjoyed the poppyseed coleslaw that came with my meal. We ended our meal with an Oregon berry crumble, which was a delight - served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream; a perfect portion for sharing. Service was fast, friendly, and attentive. This is an adorable little restaurant right on Nye Beach, so you can access much of the "touristy" area surrounding Nye Beach on foot before/after eating here. I might switch up my order, but I'll definitely be returning here!

Sweet steak and shrimp spicy cream pasta
    Julie B.

The food for me tasted either frozen or microwaved. The clam chowder is mainly cream soup with little clams or potatoes. The halibut fish and chips were really good. The sirloin shrimp spicy cream pasta was gross. I didn't want to eat it, but was starving. It is really sweet, it's so weird. I don't want sweet meat and shrimp with chilis. Really bummed out and a big waste of money. I will not be back. There are so many great restaurants like the one behind.

Good quality food, warm comfort service, beautiful ocean view, not so expensive price, definitely worth it! The calamari is best I had so far in Newport! Not much flour, still crispy outside and real juicy octopus that you can see! Great flavor! The pasta is wonderful, rich flavor! The Newport catch is a must order, fresh juicy fish with nicely cooked veggies, and tasty rice, for a person who likes to have veggies in my meal, this is the perfect dish. The dessert are pretty good too! Only downside is that the whipped cream on the chocolate cake is not real whipped cream.

    Coconut Shrimp and chips/Tuna melt

The food was amazing. Very fresh and well prepared. The tuna melt was very well done and highly recommended. The service was a little slow. My guess is they were understaffed. We went on a week day and sat outside and our server was on the go go go. The parking is limited near the restaurant so prepare for that.

Made reservations for dinner as recommended on their website. We were celebrating a wedding anniversary and wanted some delicious seafood. After reading the Yelp reviews, we thought this place checked most of our boxes. They have both a parking lot and street parking available. Upon entering, we weren't really greeted, just asked how many in our party. I let her know we had reservations, then she seated us. Our server wasn't very friendly either...we felt like she may be filling in for someone...like she wasn't normally a server. Except for the not too inviting service, the food was absolutely delicious, hence the 4 star review. We ordered the Halibut Picatta and Fisherman Stew. No complaints here...both were on point and cooked perfectly for our tastes. We also ordered a Lavender Mojito, which was good as well. For dessert we ordered the Oregon Berry Crumble a la mode. It was super yummy! It had marionberries, strawberries, and blueberries. The oatmeal crumble on top was perfect. Overall a decent experience. We just wish the service was more inviting and friendly.

    Oyster shooters!!!
    Amy P.

Definitely worth the drive! Make sure to get yourself on the reservation list! Amazing prices for great portions! Loved the oyster shooters! Inexpensive oyster shooters. Just ask for a shot of vodka with it! Less then $6 for a big portion for salad. Definitely filled me up! The fish and chips were tasty and it comes with cole slaw side! Delicious!!!!! Only downside it only came with 2. Highly recommended for oyster shooters! One for less then $2 ;) what a deal!!!! Stop by when you're close by! You will see why it is my 5 star rating for sure! Everyone is super friendly! Along with wearing masks and following guidelines!

    Fish tacos

We sat outside, grateful to be able to have our dogs with us. They even have the cutest dog menu that includes doggie ice cream! We had a fleet of delicious margaritas! Try the spicy mango, my favorite. Halibut and chips were excellent. Tuna melt was fresh and delicious- best my brother's ever had, he said! Our cute redhead server was fantastic!

Very loud. Inattentive service. Uninspiring menu. Left after cocktails. Don't go here if you expect a quiet romantic dinner.

Right off the bat, I HIGHLY recommend you make a reservation ahead of time as the wait times here can get pretty lengthy if you choose to walk in. Once checked in, we got right down to business and started off with a caesar salad, calamari and a cup of clam chowder. The calamari and clam chowder were delicious. The calamari especially, was crunchy, not greasy and the cajun aioli paired great with it. We weren't too crazy about the caesar salad however and probably could've done without it. However, the two stars of the show were the dungeness crab mac and cheese and the ribeye. Both of these dishes were so good. The dungeness crab mac and cheese was highly recommended on here and I see why. There's a generous amount of crab meat throughout the dish and lots of umami flavor from the truffle cheese sauce. We loved the ribeye and all its components. The crispy potatoes were crunchy, perfectly seasoned and the green peppercorn sauce rounds out the whole dish. We opted for the wild berry sorbet for dessert and it was the perfect way to cap off the meal. Not overly sweet, tart, and a refreshing way to finish off the meal and clean your palette. If you're visiting the area, like we were, this place is definitely a must try.
