This place rocks definitely family oriented. The owners are sweethearts and they will take care of you in any which way possible. My son can't get enough of their chicken and broccoli. This place has gone down hill fast. We've ordered delivery at least four times since this summer. Each time they've managed to get something wrong. Tonight there was no rice for the shrimp in lobster sauce and brown rice instead of steamed rice with the chicken and broccoli order. While the egg drop soup is excellent, the rest was very disappointing. The lobster sauce was very soupy and not very appetizing. The chicken and broccoli was very bland. Not recommended. Well today I stopped in after a long day to grab something fast. I noticed they did not have any grade sign noted on the door, so I asked the girl at the counter why. She didn't seem to know what I was talking about . She said she will ask her manager. I only go to places that have an A rating. The manager comes out with my food and I ask her the same question. She said to me hesitantly that there are new owners now and that they are waiting for the sign to come. Honestly, I've never heard of such a crazy story. I left and went home with my food. The food was just awful. Everything was way over salted . Tasted like the food was not fresh. I had shrimp with black bean sauce. The shrimp had a fishy taste and smell. My husband had the. Roast pork egg foo young . That was awful too. I had Scallion pancake appetizer too . They were way too thick and greasy . I will not be going back. Excellant food and really nice people who work there. But they have a knack for screwing up your orders, be careful. The worst yet, was on Christmas Eve, I placed by order 2 days earlier, as per their instructions and went to pick up my order a little before 6 pm, and my almost 100 dollar order was given to someone else. I was furious and upset but stayed calm. They tried to track down my order and then never told me anything more. The couple who my order was given was nice enough to drive back and give me my 2 large bags, but sorry, the restaurant should have made good on this, throw in an extra dish , coupon or something. Very unproffessional on their part. I will never place a large order or have them deliver ever again. But I was grossed out that my order was with someone for at least 20 minutes, sorry, this is no way to do a business. And not for anything , we didnt have a similar phone number, name or anything, so how the heck was my order given to someone else, who could have tampered with my food. Here is a unique predicament for a restaurant...do you get delivery or do you eat in? If you choose to get delivery, the quality of the food is good and possibly the best on Staten Island (as far as take out is concerned). And they have a very large menu. However, if you choose to eat at the restaurant, with their newly renovated interior, the quality of the food is better than their take out. Yes, there is a 1 to 1.5 start difference in the quality. But there are two issues with eating at the restaurant. First, they have a scaled down menu compared to their take out menu. Second, and most importantly, they have a kick boxing place next to them. When class is in session, it sounds like the class is inside of the restaurant. You here very loud mixes of dance music coupled with a woman screaming instructions to students. Doesn't make for a very nice environment. Still, when the classes are not in session, the restaurant has a very cozy atmosphere and the best Chinese food I have had on Staten Island. read more

Great food for take out.. Pretty authentic a lot of dishes my Cantonese mom would make us.. The place looks great for a take out place and is super clean!! Try the beef pan fried noodles.. The food is TASTELESS. I ordered Roast Pork Lo Mien, General Tso Chicken, Roast pork Fried rice. The lo mien was like eating cook noodles with vegetables with absolutely no sauce. The general tso chicken was okay but nothing more than that. The fried rice was hard like it was left out and reheated. The delivery was on time that was the only thing that was good. read more

Thought the food was pretty good until we had a situation. My eggplant was brown so obviously it was spoiled. My mom called and was told to bring it back. Fanny gave her a phony smile and told her that they won't cook for us anymore! Seriously?! We had a problem and you treat us poorly?! I would give you NEGATIVE stars for that alone, if I could. Fanny needs an attitude adjustment and needs to learn how to treat customers. I live in the neighborhood and will go out of my way to support restaurants that appreciate business. We were courteous about the situations and FYI, if eggplant is brown, you shouldn't even attempt to serve it to customers! I will NEVER go there again!
