I wanted to write this review on May 8, 2021…read more I've thought about writing it everyday since May 8th. Thank you for your professionalism + kindness Jay. Story : I lost a key to my place. Did my googles, picked the first 2, 4 stars, read them chose one and scheduled an appointment. The tech showed up in a mini van with a huge dent, no business logos, no company shirt, etc. Red flags I ignored. I was not aware that calls would be dispatched out to contractors. I also never considered fake reviews on sites. I felt very uncomfortable with that persons work + IMMEDIATELY called Lockworx upon their exit. I explained that the last company dispatched their calls out and if his did the same I would continue making calls. I was very upset, Jay listened to my concerns, was very calm and kind. He then explained that he was a local business and could be there to assist, shortly. When Jay came in he politely, asked if i would share what happened. I shared my experience and why i was getting my locks changed twice within an hour. Jay educated me with tips to search for a good company in the future, about using local business. Of course I will always use this company for any locksmith work + will only refer Lockworx to anyone asking me for a referral. Jay rekeyed my locks at his truck and charged $50 LESS than the company with no branded vehicles or attire. Thank you Jay. For being human first and professional second. I am so happy you were the person that showed up and gave me back some piece of mind and a few laughs . #teamlockworx

Awful communication, very, very slow and vague response...although great field techs (reason for…read morethe second star). They may be great at helping you if you're locked out, but if you need anything else, I'd use a different company. I've been trying to replace our lockset for the door of our condo since July. Called this company and they sent someone out to look. The tech said it's an interconnected lockset so they needed to check if they had to order it. A week goes by - no communication on if they had it, so I contacted them. They said they were checking their stock (for a week). Another 10 days go by and nothing from them, so I contact them again. They say they need to order it and it'll be about 6 weeks. So over 2 weeks of no communication...and seems no action on their part. September 2 they finally come to install the lockset. The manufacturer sent the wrong parts so could not install. They tell me they'll check to see when they can get what we need. So that same day I sent a detailed message with what we needed and we need to just get this done...since I had no idea if the office knew what was going on and/or if they were doing anything. No response until 8 days later..."We are expecting to get the parts next week and will contact you as soon as we get the parts." Over two months wasted and had to chase these guys to get ANY information from them. I ended up ordering the parts needed myself and have a different company (which is responsive) lined up to install.

We went with the cheapest quote (not a-max) thinking we were getting a bargain...after all...how hard is it to make a fob? After 3 hours in the rain dealing with the cheaper and incompetent locksmith we decided to tell him to stop what he was doing and call someone else. After going back over the list we called....we decided to read reviews and let me say...A-Max had fantastic reviews so we decided to give them a shot.... They were very professional over the phone...gave us a reasonable eta and guess what they arrived on time. Worst part of the story they had our car running in kess than 10 minutes. I am happy about this but furious about the previous guy who wasted a total of 5 hours of my life between waiting for him...waiting on him then calling a-max. So he called me asking if by any chance I know any locksmiths in the area. Luckily I know William through Facebook groups and sent him his way. He sent a tech out to him with the quickness and had him back on the road. The best part about it was it cost him half of what everyone else quoted him. It's good to know I have people around the country through networking that run stand up businesses. If you're in the area I highly recommend this company for any locksmith needs. They are some of the most knowledgeable locksmiths in the country.
