I called Keys to the City Locksmith to make me a duplicate key for my vehicle. Alex came out. She cut the key but couldn't fully program it to unlock/lock the doors. She explained to me that the key may be faulty or it could be my car. The woman said she would ask her supplier to replace the key and then she would come out again and cut the new key, and try to program it. Alex did not come back before learning of my dissatisfaction, but once she was aware, she promptly came back out with a new key and differently branded from the last. This was the best possible experience in what was of course an already difficult and stressful time. I'd recently had someone try to break into my truck, and the result was that they broke *both* of my exterior door locks and I wasn't able to get into my own vehicle. Our truck ignition was tampered with in an attempted theft and I didn't want to follow the same path that I took the first time this happened (taking it to a mechanic, who then hired a locksmith and charged me double their fee) so I went searching for a locksmith that was able to change ignition locks.
