The Pizza and atmosphere are great, but the owner is an ego maniac with an inferiority complex. The employees seem on edge like they'll do something wrong, that goatee guy need to take a chill pill. Two tries, same experience. We got pushed out so they could turn more business, cut our great conversation with family short. This place doesn't seem to like kids in a family town... must not be a native Oregonian. Service to us is more important, not a service charge for kids, yes, we got a 15% service charge for kids.. also told to move our car out of take out location, there was no parking and and the place was empty during lunch hour.. basically there's not a welcoming owner, and it's totally comes thru from his employees who seemingly are trying to keep an unhappy guy happy, which is impossible.. it's a pizza place for peet sake, family, kids and Pizza.. right? Fantastic pizza and smoked wings and a great selection of beer to chose from. Every restaurant has it's good days and bad days and no one is perfect. Anyone who has ever worked in the restaurant business especially here in Bend knows it's tough to get good employees and even those employees have bad days. So Pacific Pizza is no exception I have had outstanding pizza and salads and I have had some not so outstanding pizza! I can say that for every restaurant in Bend over the last 25 years not a single restaurant is perfect 100% of the time. So give them a try and if you do not like them there are over 25 other pizzaria's in Bend to choose from and even more new ones opening up soon. read more

So, to start this off- I love the food here. But as for the manager here- he has been nothing but rude every time we have come here (unless we have cute girls). I am not the type to write a bad yelp review especially here in Bend. We have been coming here for a number of months, and normally the food and service is amazing, except the manager. I have personally witnessed him make employees cry, he has treated other customers rudely, yelled at his staff in front of the house, and even ignored us to the point we called our order in rather than placed it at the bar where we were sitting. Pizza was good, but if I wanted to eat with a dog begging by my table, I would have one. If I bring my cat, horse, fish, or snake to eat with me, is that ok? Can I make a pet discrimination case if my llama can't spit around my feet while people are eating? Disgusting overrides pizza. Dog town does not have to be gross town. They are not people. When a dog pays my bill, they can eat with me; until then, have a real restaurant. By the way - I listened and paid attention. Neither of the dogs allowed to hang out were service dogs. No way any ADA exception could have made a case that they were. read more

We got the Burrata Margherita pizza and the Pine Marten Pizza. I was initially a bit disappointed…read moreby the Burrata Margherita due to what was my own misinterpretation but an understandable one, I feel. Normally when I have ordered pizza with burrata on it, it comes as a little ball in the center placed after cooking, which is what I had imagined on top of the already-constructed Margherita pizza, but in this case the burrata is used instead of the traditional use of mozzarella on Margherita pizzas (see photo). Understandable misunderstanding, but nonetheless disappointing and I do think it could be made more clear on the menu. The crust held up but was not charred the way I am used to with wood fired pizzas, and was overall rather flavorless with the Margherita toppings. The flavor-lacking crust was not an issue in the Pine Marten Pizza, however, because the pizza itself was much more flavorful to make up for this. I'd recommend the PMP or get it again if I went back. It was a great mix of flavors with the clever addition of hot honey.
