Finding the place was fairly easy. I went in and met with Kyle and he was able to remove and reapply my legal ceramic tint on the four door windows and rear back windshield. There is a waiting area and Kyle and I shared some good conversation while I waited! He really took his time when applying my tint and you can tell he enjoys what he does. This guy deserves a raise! The cost was fair and affordable compared to other shops that provided me with quotes. They also offer a lifetime warranty on their tint, which is a great benefit! I've already started to tell my friends about my new tint and they are interested in getting theirs done, too! Mahalo Geno and Kyle for making this process so seamless! What is the actual value of a Lifetime Warranty? A guarantee like this is only good if the company…read morethat offers it is still around years down the line when you need to make a claim, and no-one has been around longer than T&T. When the tint finally started peeling on my car that I had tinted by them when I bought it brand new 20 years ago, I wondered how easy it would be to have it replaced under warranty. As it turns out, T&T makes it extremely easy. The original location I had the car tinted at was in Salt Lake, and it was so long ago it is no longer there. What used to be a Costco is now a Target. So I went to the airport location where I've already had them do two other cars for me since. I figured I'd drop by with the car and have them take a look at it. It didn't take long to book an appointment to bring the car back, and I was happy to hear that they wanted to replace the tint on the entire car even though it had failed on just one side window and the rear. With recent changes to vehicle tinting laws here in Hawaii this year, I was also happy to learn that they offered an option to go darker in the rear of the vehicle for a small reasonable upcharge. I took advantage of that and the opportunity to do the front windshield with their clear Air 80 film, something that wasn't offered back then when I had the car originally done, but I've had installed on my other cars since and really appreciate. A week later I brought the car back in and they had the job done in a few hours. The installers were meticulous and everything was done perfectly. They took particular care to take their time with peeling the rear window tint off and not damage the defroster lines. My car looks fantastic and driving the car with the windshield tint now is great. The story doesn't end here though because on a whim I asked about my girlfriend's car which we had purchased on the used market, and noticed that had also been tinted by T&T by the owner back in 2010 but had begun to fail. No problem, even though we were second owners, T&T came through and booked us an appointment to replace the entire tint on that car too! I took the opportunity to upgrade the rear tint on that vehicle as well and a few weeks later we were back and they did the same fantastic job for us on that car as well. Both cars now have brand new tint jobs, and Lifetime Warranties still intact for the future. Your staff here at T&T from the front office to installers are all fantastic and took such good care of us, and I'm sure will be the reason why you'll be around for the next 20 years or more. He quoted me $80 for tint removal which I had an illegal tint, which did not pass inspection. He took approximately 2 hrs to remove it. But then I decided since I was there, I better tint the whole car with legal tint. He was going charge me $300 bucks for everything, but then up the price cause I used credit card, to $320, plus tax... came out $335.18...at first I gave him rave reviews. But the next day, I found out my car antenna got ripped apart, mind you, it was storming that day, and I just went home afterwards and parked in my garage. It's a new car, and was never broken to begin with.... I would not recommend him to anyone... sorry Alan.

I came to Keith with a very specific problem: a previous tint was so dark that our shop looked less "let's check this place out!" and more "I think they went out of business." Not ideal. Keith was incredibly quick to respond, quick to come out and give me an estimate, and most importantly--actually listened to what I was trying to solve. We bake our own bread, so while the sun is busy heating the store from the outside, our ovens are doing their very best to heat it from the inside. We needed serious heat rejection without sacrificing the visibility that lets people know, yes, we are very much open. Previously we had a dark tint requiring our window flair to be applied on the outside. However, "fans" kept stealing our signage at night, leaving big, empty, blacked out windows, where customers would smoosh their nose into the doors just to see inside! Thankfully, Keith recommended a beautiful tint that hit the balance perfectly. It blocks enough exterior heat to make a real difference, while the visibility through the glass is still incredibly crisp. The store looks bright, open and alive again, and I could not be happier with the result. Quick to respond, knowledgeable, thoughtful, and an absolute expert with his recommendation and installation. Got immediate response from Darron at Tinted Oahu with quote and that he does mobile services. This resolved one of my primary concerns - location how far did i need to drive to get car tinted and how long did i need to wait and what do i do while i waited). I did receive numerous other quotes but decided to go with Darron due to the fact that he would come to my home. I was a bit concerned that he had only one review so far ( 5 stars) but you gotta get started someplace. Darron's quote was competitive and his communication was great. Reconfirmed our appt and arrived on time. Darron proceeed to tint my windows and i noticed how meticulous he was as he worked. After finishing, windows looked good but upon further inspection noticed two small marks on one of the windows. After checking it out, Darron determned that it was the issue with the film. He told he that his motto is that is the customer is not satisfied he does it over - which he did. The window looked great after the redo . I was very pleased with Darron's work , his positive attitude and professionalism.
