We got the seafood platter as an appetizer and it was so delicious! We got to try a little bit of everything. We were pretty full just off of that but got entrees. The ahi poke in the seafood platter was so good I had to get it as my main. The sauce was so incredible with fresh avocado. I NEED that recipe. I would come back to Newport just for the ahi poke bowl. My fiance got the dungeness crab mac and cheese and it was without a doubt THE BEST mac and cheese we've ever had. We are Mac and cheese connoisseurs so that says a lot. The sauce was so perfect and the crab was very generous. To top it all off I thought the post cards at the end were very sweet. I came to Newport when I was a child (maybe 7 years old) and I had lots of old memories that I relived on my trip. I sent one to my mom. Our waiter was absolutely lovely. We hope to come back one day!

As a pro tip, you should always order a side of sliced sourdough bread to go with it; it is the perfect pairing for that creamy goodness. For beverages, they have about a dozen flavored sodas to choose from, and I always get the Cherry Bomb from that list. Other favorites from their menu are the oyster shooters, their famous popcorn shrimp, and The Crew Share. Service is always quick and friendly, whether you are dining in or ordering for takeout. The location offers a variety of seating, including cozy indoor options as well as side and front patio seating for when the weather is nice. If you want to take the experience home, they also have fresh steamed Dungeness crab and a wide variety of other seafood for sale to go as well! You truly can't go wrong when stopping in here for lunch or dinner.

It looks like the salmon dish my husband got had cheese on top (allergy) so I'm guessing we asked for it without the cheese after I snapped a photo and we noticed the cheese. There's a chance it's not cheese, but it looks like cheese... and goat/sheep cheese doesn't seem likely (he can have those... just not cow cheese). My fried oysters & chips meal was good but quite heavy. I think I decided to try the grilled version next time if we return.

And the portions are generous. Some places charge the same amount for just two pieces of fish but here they serve four. If you have a small appetite, you probably could even split one order and feel satisfied as they give you a lot of fries/chips too. I also have to say that the tartar sauce here is REALLY good and I don't even normally like tartar sauce! The new Waldport location is so great too! We felt as though we stumbled on a hidden gem. There was an area for our kids to play on a sunny day while my husband and I peacefully enjoyed our food in the shade. The resort construction was still ongoing when we visited so I'm sure as that comes to an end, this location will be more busy. But we feel lucky to have discovered it when we did! This will absolutely become our go-to stop for our future visits to Waldport.

Wow...ordered the fish and chips (cod), and it was absolutely delicious. The breading for the fish STAYS ON THE FISH, and is crispy and crunchy. Really very good. Tarter is delicious. Fries are salty and crispy. Coleslaw was very tasty. Three large pieces of cod fish cooked to perfection. I highly recommend the food here. We got to watch a little league game right across the street while we ate off the tailgate of the truck. Great meal!

He was in the Coast Guard out of Astoria and I drove the 3/4hrs (I don't remember exactly) to meet him. We had lunch at this Mo's. It was my 2nd Mo's exprience because the first one was in Cannon Beach. I worked at the hotel right next to it. I remember good food and chowder. I brought my daughter and niece here for lunch. They are students at the university in Eugene. I wanted them to experience the original Mo's and have some good food. The chowder is good. We all ate it up. I had fish tacos. It came with 3 big tacos, so come hungry. We also ordered a side of onion rings. I have to say that it was probably one of the better ones we've had in a long while. We really enjoyed our visit here and the waitress we had was awesome. She was super busy because she was also waiting on a big party but she never forgot to check on us.

I opted for the grilled cheese with an iced tea. My husband ordered the clam chowder with garlic bread. As I look around at all the tables near me all of the food from the hamburger to the salad looks delicious. The front door is open and the restaurant is warm. Outdoors it's only 54°. Kitchen is in the back of the restaurant, but there is heat radiated throughout the small restaurant. And loud noise of fans. The service was quick and polite. The food was delicious. The restaurant kept busy with people sitting at the tables outside as the lunch tables inside were filled. This is a small and cute place to have lunch. The wait staff was kind. We left our jackets in the restaurant and the waitress came out and found us still sitting in our car and gave us our jackets. Thank you to the staff for going above and beyond. I would give this adorable café five stars.
