    Shrimp chip perhaps

Want good Thai for the buck, come to Pacifica Thai. * We ordered so much for two, the staff ensured the food tasted great. * What makes this place special is the history and personal feeling and touch by the staff! The chips were super yummy for me and my friend after an afternoon at the skate park!!

We had a delicious lunch at Pacifica Thai cuisine with family today; there were eight in our party. The service was superb and friendly. This is a real family business. Appetizers included fish cakes and Chicken Satay (kebabs). I had the chicken Pad See Ew, and my husband had the Shrimp Pad Thai Noodles. I'm not sure what everyone else was having. We all shared Mango sticky rice for dessert. Though the fare was pricier than we had expected, it seems that eating out anywhere these days is expensive - even McDonald's! The experience was worth the extra, for us. We will return for special occasions.

Note: Good about gluten stuff (for intolerants at least)... Offered wheat free soy sauce. Have a feeling this place stays alive based on generosity and sweet vibes. Food is hugely portioned... My pad Thai is easily two portions. And The sweet lady that served me (owner?) was fun and friendly to talk to and threw in an extra tapioca pudding. This is Maybe in the bottom 30% of pad Thai's I have ever had but it's not terrible. Salad Kaak leaves a lot to be desired with the iceberg lettuce and potato chips. Decor is pretty basic, especially the bathroom.

Very warm welcoming feeling as soon as we entered the restaurant. Quick and friendly service. I didn't even have to ask for refills, dessert, or a box to take home. They were already on it. Delicious food, I wish I would've taken a picture, but was too busy stuffing my face. Now, what really got me, was when she packed my to go bag for me, she put a fresh cup of rice. I've never had that happen. Would definitely return in my next visit please support local businesses.

Came here one night with friends since we all decided to check out something new. I love a good Thai place and this one did not disappoint! We got their Tom Yum Kai which was perfect since it was one of those cool nights and this soup was perfect and satisfied each of us. Didn't expect one of server would come out and serve us the soup. The place is a little old but the food we had was delicious and recommended to other friends and you should try when in town!

Yelpers didn't go wrong with Pacifica Thai Cuisine. What I appreciate most about this cozy local gem is the delicious honest food, staff and ambiance. It's just an honest to goodness great place that's been here for decades and I truly respect that, in an era where most restaurants get too fancy with chaotic music and weird fusion menus for the sake of being "cool." But not here. This husband and wife team deserve all the patronage, they are hardworking and genuinely friendly folks. Upon entering, the wife came out from back, greeted us right away and offered us to pick any table. We ordered some beer, Tom Yum Koong and Pad Thai. Fairly basic items but there was something special about each of them. The beer was ICE cold and also came with a frosty mug. I don't know why most restaurants/bars don't offer the frosty mug anymore but it's a detail that shows an extra level of thoughtfulness for their customers. Next, the Tom Yum Koong soup, which came out quickly. Note: a medium level heat is still fairly tolerable. The highlight of this soup was a surprising slight sweetness, we couldn't place where from but it was pleasant and overall delicious. Lastly, the well plated shrimp Pad Thai with generous sauce had excellent depth of flavor. We were so impressed with a tasty affordable dinner, which came out to less than $60. I also appreciated the little tamarind candy that came with the bill. Parking is easy as there's a small lot in front and street parking. There are so many small details to love at Pacifica Thai. We look forward to returning soon!

It's a decent local Thai spot, but I did find the food to be average. It was good but underwhelming. What we ordered: Pad Thai Papaya Salad Eggrolls Mango Sticky Rice FOOD: 7/10 The food was fine overall, but nothing really stood out this time. It just didn't have that wow factor that makes me want to come back right away. It's good in a pinch if you're nearby and craving Thai food, but not super memorable compared to other spots in the Bay. SERVICE: 8/10 Service was fine and standard. The lady who served us was very nice. AMBIANCE: 7/10 The restaurant itself is casual and comfortable, with a simple, neighborhood Thai spot feel. I did really like the artwork and paintings throughout, as well as the small shrine they have, which added character and authentic culture to the space. The lighting pieces were also a nice touch. Overall, White Elephant is an okay go-to if you're nearby and want something quick and familiar, but it's not a place I'd go out of my way for.

Walked in and it wasn't too busy so got seat right away. Ordered the shrimp pad thai and the fried snapper in spicy sauce with a side of white rice. For dessert we got mango sticky rice. Everything was delicious. First time having the snapper here and i'll be getting it again. Perfectly fried and soft from the inside, I don't know why I hadn't tried this before. It's mango season so we had to get the sticky rice. It wasn't too loud inside since it wasn't too busy. It was also very clean. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food came out fast. Parking isn't too difficult to find in this area.

Just a note, they do get really busy on the weekends & they have shared tables so id you're not into that, come early! We ordered the Bangkok Golden, Jok Crispy Rice Porridge, Two Eggs with Bacon & Toast, and the Fried Chicken & Waffle. The Bangkok Golden was definitely my favorite. It was really flavorful and came with a salad and rice. The portion was also pretty generous. The Jok Crispy Rice Porridge was also really good and unique. It had great flavor and was something a little different from the usual brunch dishes. The Two Eggs with Bacon & Toast was good, but nothing special. We also enjoyed the Fried Chicken & Waffle, although it took quite a bit longer to come out than the rest of our food, probably 10-15 minutes after everything else, which was a little inconvenient. Service was good overall, but a little inconsistent between our visits. The first time we came, our waiter was super nice and even brought our daughter a toddler plate and utensils without us asking. The second time, we had two toddlers with us and didn't receive those, and the service felt a little less attentive. Overall, though, the food was really good and flavorful, and we'd definitely come back to try more of the menu! It is a little on the pricier side, but everything is expensive nowadays.

You normally get served country potatoes or hashbrowns, but this comes with Thai fried rice. The perfect accompaniment to the oozy egg and juicy steak.
