The window that was installed was too small. The spaces were covered up by rubber strips glued around the window. This was discovered by having my home heat treated for termites. The heat loosened the glue of the rubber strips. When my handyman was going to glue the strips back he noticed that the new window did not fully fit the existing frame. My handyman added wood to cover the gaps around the entire window. I was going to use Window King for 3 more windows, but NOT the case anymore. I do not recommend this company. read more

I am not taking the chances. Said I didn't have the contract because I clearly can't find it and he said I have it, he has the time to search the date but not resend it. Is that so hard? Resend the damn email. It's that simple. (He eventually sent it). I pointed out what I read in the contract, instead of kindly explaining it, he replied with "please read the whole paragraph in its entirety before you misinterpret any portions of it". Is that the type of person you want to hire? Think long term wise and not the "budget friendly" zone because it can cost you later. If I have issues later, then what? More attitude? But yeah, proceed at your own risk. He replying promptly but with an attitude defeats his promptness in text reply. His busy work schedule does not justify him being rude to potential customers. I inquired about the cost to replace some old windows in my house. They were good about being able to give me a quote but were very rude about waiting for me to decide. I had already scheduled someone to come to the house and take a look so I was going to get that quote as well before I decided. Them: "They couldn't give you a quote from the photo and size??? That's not concerning? Me: It's probably a sales technique. People like my wife would feel obligated to use them because they came all the way out. I've lived in apartments my whole life so this is all new to me. Just looking for some quality windows at not too high a price tag Them: "Can't believe you fell for that Anyways best of luck" After I called him out on being rude with the "cant' believe you fell for that" comment he tried to defend himself saying he was tyring to save me the hassle and give me a fast response. Window King was everything I wanted. They make their own windows so you aren't paying advertising cost for a name brand. They reinforce their vinyl windows with steel so the frames don't bend, which can break the duo pane seal on the sash and lead to fogging. They use UV protection glass and technology that blocks more noise than seems possible, they give a fair and firm price with no surprises, they show up on time, are courteous, treat your plants well, clean up their mess and smile doing it. If you want to go into this without wondering how it will turn out, these are your guys. I dealt with Joe and Daniel, both excellent. We had some small issues to work through. My house is 100 years old and had multiple window types. But by being adaptive during the install, they were able to create a professional appearance where no two windows they were removing were the same. Our install was six single hung replacement windows on the froth section of the house. It used to be so noisy from outside that we always watched tv with closed captioning to avoid rewinding.
