If I could give this place negative 5 stars I would. An absolutely atrocious way to end the day. My autistic daughter had ordered the fajitas WITHOUT green peppers because she is allergic to them. In turn they take the plate to the back and PICKED OUT THE GREEN PEPPERS THEN BROUGHT IT BACK AND PROCEEDED TO SAY IT WAS REMADE. My wife in turn ordered only chicken fajitas and somehow got shrimp and seafood WHEN SHE IS DEADLY ALLERGIC TO SHRIMP AND SEAFOOD. We should've known at the beginning when the waiter took our drink orders that the entire thing was botched from the start because she gave me a Diet Pepsi instead of a regular and my wife a diet Mountain Dew instead of a regular when we only asked for diet soda for the kids. My son's burger was also $13 for only a burger with cheese and ketchup. The plate literally had 10 fries that were just tossed on the plate. He had also ordered a meat, sour cream, and cheese taco but somehow ended up with A HEAPING PILE OF LETTUCE ON HIS PLATE. Bottom line kids don't like green foods. Seeing a lot of similar reviews that reflected my experience here. The food was good and came out fast, but then we never saw our waiter again. Waited over 20 minutes to get our bill, only for it to be someone entirely different. I don't go to Sheboygan often, and have my preferred Mexican restaurants in Milwaukee, so I don't feel a need to go here again the few times I am in town. read more

We were going to meet friends for lunch at El Caminos. Our lunch date was at 1300 hrs, but our first choice didn't open until 1400 hrs. So we decided to try this restaurant. We walked in and were quickly greeted by a hostess who took us to a nice booth with views of the Sheboygan River. I ordered chili rellenos, two ordered cheese enchiladas, and one got steak tacos. All of our food was stellar and service was attentive and friendly. Vegetarian friendly, I liked the side order of black beans. The guacomole was great tasting and large. The salsa was mild, but you can request hotter. I'm glad we had to change our plans. This is a classy restaurant and it was fortunate that we ended up here. If you're looking for a Mexican food fix it would behoove you to patronize this fine place. read more

I came and had a nice burrito and some chips for a lunch. It was a good price and filled me up pretty nicely.

We stopped in for a late lunch, we had a couple people take care of us. Guessing maybe it was shift change or something. The menu's were both dirty inside. We ordered, food arrived and we thought the food was ok. While we waited we noticed a few areas in the restaurant that were dirty, which we were surprised by since is was pretty quiet in there. The quality lies somewhere between Waffle House and the steaks you get in a box but the price reflects an actual steak. No matter how you ask for the steak to be cooked it will still be grey. It started that way. The service was decent but three people having lunch shouldn't cost 90 dollars for sub par food. Also I drank a 32oz daiquiri and didn't even so much as get a buzz. Also paid a premium for the drink. The parking lot could use some TLC it looks like it belongs to an abandoned business. A real waste of prime real estate. Avoid at all cost. We enjoyed Pacifico for lunch on a weekday. The location is great, right on the river, and the interior had a bright, clean, tropical theme. We had some good food while we were there. Avocado salad was light and refreshing. Veggie fajitas came out super hot and were light on the oil. Everything was quite good, but also felt like something was missing in flavor. Similarly, chips and salsa had some great chips, thin and very lightly salted, but the salsa was very mild and could've used a big kick up in spice and flavor. Upon walking in I was reassured I would be able to eat in the patio with my dog. I requested to be seated away from any dining customers as I didn't want to inconvenience anyone. When we were walked to the patio we were set up next to a family so I asked to be moved. The employee said I was able to pick any other table on the patio that better suited me as the rest of the area was empty. After getting settled a server approached the table and asked if we were ready. However menus were never brought to us. When I told her this, she replied, "your menus are still at the other table" implying we had to get them ourselves, on top of already moving the tables together to accommodate my party of 6. When I asked, "am I suppose to get them myself?" She had the audacity to actually say "yes." All this before even saying hi or introducing herself. Food was good and plentiful. Restaurant lost a star for their Southwestern Egg rolls. Paid almost $6 for 2 eggrolls that were cut in half to make 4 pieces and filling was not southwestern. It was more like a spicy and sour coleslaw mix. Not a big fan and disappointed in the amount. Lost another star for service. Our appetizer came after our meal, about 10 mins after our meals. Just got back from Pacifico with my daughters and had the worst food/drinks. I am born and raised in southern California so my expectations are what they should be for Sheboygan's Mexican food scene meaning I don't expect much. We've been to Pacifico quite a few times since moving here and my teenage daughters enjoy their meals so I typically just order a big margarita and let them enjoy their overpriced food. However, tonight was the worst!! Sat down at the table and no chips and salsa for at least 5 minutes. Perhaps they saw a single woman with 2 kids and I was a fate worse than death in "server world". Sidenote: I was a server in Los Angeles, California and downtown Portland, Oregon for 16 years and I would run and/or give away tables with kids or teens so I totally get it. However, I always tip well so I just stayed the course tonight and we waited patiently for chips and salsa and our server. With ALL of that being said, I ordered a big (the 32 ounce!!) margarita on the rocks because I knew I wouldn't be eating and settled in. I have ordered this margarita before and it always hits the spot but tonight I took a sip and it made my face pucker...the sour mix was basically the entire margarita which was so disappointing because the margarita is actually what gets me here! My kids ordered a steak fajita to share and a fish taco and carnitas taco on the side. The food came out a few minutes after ordering which should have been my first red flag but my girls were starving so I went with it. We literally had our chips and salsa for less than a minute before the food came out. I asked the server who brought out the food for an additional salsa because my younger daughter loves salsa with her meal and the server did the normal over-the-top "ear piece" signal to some mysterious "back of the house" employee that never brings the salsa so I knew I was never getting that 2nd salsa...I've been here before with Pacifo. So, they have their normal male server with his arm of pot holders holding an award winning amount of plates bring the meal and set it down and my girls start sorting though it....zero meat in the fajitas, fish taco literally was inedible, and flour tortillas were so hard and burnt that my girls stacked them in little towers for fun as a joke. I told the girls I didn't want to complain because I didn't want spit in my food and I also didn't want to not be able to come back to Pacifico and for the first time ever my daughters said, "mom, you need to say something because this is awful." So, I was "that person" and called the server over and asked if that was the normal amount of meat for the $17 fajita (I already knew it wasn't the normal amount of meat because I had ordered it countless times) and they said "no" and immediately took it back and came out with more. I then said, "i'm so sorry but the tortillas don't bend so could we get some fresh tortillas." That's when I started to see the annoyance from the staff and them talking into the earpieces in spanish like I am some social pariah. I still stayed because we were celebrating and it was just food after all. Then my girls then finally tried the steak fajitas and they were just atrocious, I mean gross. I took a bite to see what they were talking about and it was inedible. My younger daughter had a bite of the fish taco and put it down. Everything was just awful. I asked for my bill after eating nothing because it was so bad. I didn't even take pictures because I didn't think I'd even be writing a review and pictures would not have done it justice anyway. The server asked if I wanted a box (or boxes) because I had an entire table of uneaten food and I said no. I even left my margarita which I would never do especially when the damn thing cost $17. So, after this long-winded review I will end my rant but I feel like I just burned $65 into the fire. We actually had to go to fast food to feed my girls after paying an arm and a leg at Pacifico and I was pretty infuriated. read more

Not as good as their location in Plymouth. My boyfriend and I found this after Sprechers was replaced. REALLY good our first visit, fast service, clean, great food. Since then, we've gone to the one in Plymouth which is FAR more consistent, always order our favorite dishes (I always order the Seafood Vallarta, he orders the Azteca Special.). Instead of the BIG scallops used at the Plymouth location, they used the little tiny ones that have a "fishy" taste (would rather have the the big chunks of fake crab meat than fishy tasting scallops, yuck!!!). The shrimp in my meal wasn't fully cooked (they were still translucent I realized after eating an unusually rubbery one) and the sauce was watery instead of the usual creamy yummy tasting sauce, everything unflavorful. I NEVER needed to season before, but was dumping on the hot sauce, salt /pepper for everything. Totally bland (no COVID, could taste the crummy scallops, etc.). The side "salad" consists of chopped up iceburg lettuce, diced tomatoes with a dollop of sour cream? I'd much rather get beans and rice with maybe a sprinkle of the "salad" and sour cream. In spite of being a pretty large restaurant, they typically seat people (families and single couples) all into the same small area instead of spacing out, putting families in an area, letting couples eat away from them to enjoy coversation? I realize it's probably easier for the waitstaff, but.....? Plus, the fake plants everywhere have GOTTA go!!! They're in the bathroom, throughout the restaurant, etc. All I can do is think about how dusty/nasty they really are, what kinda nests might be in there. read more

The birria quesadilla was fantastic and a generous portion; and you will not believe the bacon wrapped shrimp. Plus, there is a large outdoor section ON the river for relaxing on a summer evening. Worst meal x4 in a long time! The Chili Relleno was soggy, lukewarm and tasted more like a bad TV dinner! Grandson 1 had California Burger, ordered without mustard, came with mustard, bun so tough you couldn't bite into it or even rip it, burger was tasteless! Grandson 2 same experience with Children's Cheeseburger, fries cold and without salt! Grandson 3, Mac and cheese right out of the box, pasta was hard and cool when served. This was our first time here and we will be coming back. Fresh chips and salsa were served upon being seated, we ordered the Guacamole Mexicano (appetizer) which is fresh and flavorful. Main course was Burrito Vallarta for me (pic included ) which is very flavorful with just a little heat so you can enjoy all the different flavors on the plate.. Thursday, July 27th I took my mother out for lunch here because when we passed by we saw people out on the patio which looked perfect, seemingly. We walked in to this very dark place, with no customers at front waiting, no customers at inside tables. Sign at front read; Wait to be seated??? We waited...... finally saw a gal at the bar, she said they would be right with us.... waited,... no one came back, so we walked towards the back to where the outside seating was and waited a bit. A guy waiter came in, so I asked if it was ok to grab a table on the patio. He said you will need to talk with her, pointing to the gal "bartender" who just came in from outside (then they where talking in spanish to each other in front of us, ok) then out of nowhere she turns to me and said "I told you to STAY!" then she said it again in a LOUD voice. I was like Excuss me!! I tried my best to ignore her continued stupidity, rudeness and uncaring demeanor, as she continued to use the words 'I TOLD YOU TO STAY!" So then Words where exchanged and she even said "if you sit we won't wait on you", What....., REALLY at this point additonal unkind words where exchanged as I had to defend myself and mother. Yes, we walked out and she didn't care :) WE will NEVER EVER GO to this place ever again. I wish I could give it zero stars! I will be a loud voice for this place, obvisouly not favorable. Best part of the story we went to place named, Las Brisa's WOW, it was amazing from service to food and appreciations. Waited quite some time before he came back to take the order. Once he brought our order, we didn't see him again until we had been finished eating. The food was not good at all. My ground beef enchiladas had a quality of meat lower than taco bell. Rice was worse than rice from a box. My wife got the veggie fajitas and said the veggies were pretty good. Only 3 flour tortillas came w/ it though and they were wrapped in aluminum foil so the last one was really wet and soggy. We definitely won't be back. This is a lovely location along the river with nice outside seating. However for the one ordering, be aware there is NO garnishes on the meals or lunches. The first time I had a two dish combo. I had to order the lettuce, sour cream extra as a add on and got next to nothing , & a squirt of sour cream. it's a Mexican restaurant! The visit, ( lovely river seating) I ordered a quesadilla for lunch, it came on a plate with nothing else ! It was just an unappealing tortilla in half. No garnishes, no appealing presentation whatsoever. It did have lovely cheese in it. The wait staff is on the ball, but the kitchen needs help!
