The burritos here are really good! I was skeptical to stop on my way to eureka, but I am glad I did. I had ordered the carne asada burrito and man was it good. They have a ton of options to choose from. Tacos, burritos, enchiladas, quesadillas, combination plates, and more. The service here is pretty fast. They have jarritos and canned sodas for drink options. The salsas are also very good. I was surprised how good this place was for the location. But if you're on the 101 and want good fast food, this is it! I recommend the burritos. There is outdoor seating if you want to sit outside and enjoy your meal. There is ample parking because they share the parking with another establishment. Paco and his other employee are very friendly and welcoming! Definitely a must stop if you're on the 101. read more

Honestly I feel disgusted and disappointed by this meal I was served tonight, to start it off the French fries were barely cooked and I mean BARELY!! I felt as if I was a farmer in the south and I pulled a potato out of the ground and decided to take a bite, if I were to blindly compare the raw potato to these "French fries" I would see no difference. Next the burger, honestly I would give them the benefit of the doubt on this one because the burger wasn't half bad.. except it was the bun looked like it had been sitting out in the Sahara desert. But the burger patty itself was the only thing that tasted decent! So good job for that. And the only reason I am so disappointed is because I'm pretty much a regular to pacos and thought very high of them. So overall im seriously disappointed in the "food" that I got tonight. read more

Semi-permanent food truck tucked away between a Chevron and the Gallery gift shop. Definitely need to look for it. Super burrito isn't huge, but had good mix of rice, beans, guacomole, sour cream, cheese, and salsa. They ran out of carnitas, but their steak (aka carne asada) was tender enough. Also, had a super taco also with good toppings, though maybe it's the toppings that made it taste good. Haha. Definitely recommend stopping here on the way through on the 101. read more

It is well seasoned, has yummy white cheese, and the potatoes are tender and fresh. The red salsa that it comes with is just the right amount of spicy with a perfectly subtle hint of smokey. I'm working in Laytonville today and decided to have lunch at Paco's Tacos. I didn't look at the menu before arriving and it took a little longer than expected to get my food. However I did come at 12, so any place is busy during lunch hour. People had placed their order over the phone and that seemed to be quicker. I had the 2 flautas special. I had never had flautas like theirs, but they were really tasty. The special came with rice and beans. The meal was quite enough for me, however I don't think it was worth the special price. The regular priced items are somewhat cheaper and come with rice and beans. That is the only reason I am not giving 5 stars. Food tasted good, workers were friendly and helpful. Location is easy to find. There is however a lot of car traffic on the gravel path. If you have small children you may want to keep them near you at all times. read more

I used to come frequently two years ago before I moved further away and they used to be way better. I've been excited to visit them again for a couple years and have always considered them the best veggie burrito/chimichanga so I guess it's my fault for holding them to a high standard. Rude staff and they don't make as many menu items as they used to, even if they have the ingredients, similar menu items and capability. Despite not getting the item I wanted (veggie chimichanga- they will only do chimichangas if I order a meat burrito) I was willing to settle for the Veggie Super Burrito since I also loved that one. The quality of their food has declined a lot. I was glad they still use broccoli for the Veggie mix but that's the only positive thing I have to say on it. I'm glad to say I won't be craving them anymore, I have been cured, and next time I pass through town I'll stick strictly to Big Chief because Pacos has gone downhill. Horchata is still amazing so I don't entirely regret stopping by. read more

Waited over 30 min for two breakfast burritos. Wasn't worth the wait. Our order number was 67 for one sausage and one bacon. Order 69 plus three others were given out before our order. I watched one burrito being made amongst the tortas and plate orders. Finally, asked for my money back. The lady quickly responded with, It's coming right up. I watched as they made a single burrito, yet placed two in the bag. The one burrito they had made 10-15 minutes earlier and this new one was our order. They were both sausage. The one she made hastily was 1/3 smaller then the first. I checked the bag to make sure both were in the bag. I told the guy this was my first and last time back. He responded with, That's ok man. Wish I had remembered to take my my tip back. My burrito had almost no egg. The salsa had no heat. There was a party of two other guys who had ordered street tacos that had asked for the order already as well that had ordered right after us. They were still waiting when we left. For street tacos! Wish I could give no stars. It's one thing to wait an exorbitant amount of time for two breakfast burritos. It's another issue altogether to have a flippant response to a complaint.
