Favorite burrito in town! I would frequent the truck but happy to see they now have this spot too!

Since no one was inviting anyone over out of Covid-Crazy-Creepy-Crawly fear, this made a lot of sense at the time. If you've never cooked a turkey on a Weber Kettle... well, you're letting the best in life pass you by. Now, our tradition has changed to going camping for the days leading up to Thanksgiving, and heading home for the big day. Nice to see family and friends, but we still enjoy that cool NorCal vibe in the forest. This past year, we tried a new spot just north of Boonville, CA, which put is pretty close to Ft. Bragg. On one of the days we were in the area, we ventured into town for a nice meal. We found Los Gallitos by chance, looking for a spot to part my truck. This was a nice little Mexican restaurant, and had all the markings of a family business. In short-- delicious food. Sometimes these small town spots can be hit or miss; this place was definitely great. The carne asada was better than the chicken, but I always think that. My youngest got a Shrimp and Pulpo cocktail that was amazing. My cheese enchiladas and Chile relleno were off the hook delicious, too. Not sure when our travels will take us back to Fort Bragg, but we will definitely stop back in here again to see our new friends.

Ice cold Modelo was just what the doctor ordered. The place was jumping with many locals so I think we chose the perfect spot

This place is bursting with bold, authentic flavors and offers a true gastronomic experience. We ordered the Tapas Trio, Traditional Cochinita Pibil, and the Cioppino, and every dish was outstanding. The appetizer was packed with flavor, the pibil was beautifully seasoned and tender, and the cioppino had a rich, layered broth that was delicious without being overpowering. The kids had the Alfredo and cheeseburger which they both devoured. On top of the incredible food, our server was genuinely warm and attentive, which made the experience even better. No picture made it coz we were too hungry.

For the meals, we tried the chicken mole, which was less smoky and more on the sweeter side, but good. Served with rice and beans, both of which were yummy. We also had the bowl with chicken, cheese, rice, and beans. Quite flavorful!! And the last entree was my favorite, it was the grilled fish tacos. Also served with rice and black beans. The prickly pear margarita was yummy! If we weren't so full, we would have tried the flan or the flourless chocolate cake. Highly recommend this place for the food. I would say the service was fine - they were friendly, but not super consistent. The ambience is nice. We would come back here to try more things.

We loved the atmosphere which they have live music playing! Our server was very kind and gave us recommendations. We were able to split and share a Cesar salad and they gave two plates to share which was kind instead of one big plate and we appreciated that. I give 4/5 stars for the quality of the food only because I felt the spaghetti noodles were a little salty along with the sauce being salty. I love love love spaghetti and this was the first time I've been to an Italian restaurant and felt something was salty because I'm never one to complain. It could have been an off day but from the time we ordered to the actual dinner entrees to come took more than 20 minutes and it wasn't too crowded. Also, we ordered cannolis and the shell didn't seem crunchy/fresh but the flavor was there and the texture of the ricotta was smooth! For a couple who ordered 2 appetizers , two main entrees, one bottle of red wine , and two cannolis to share, we spent about 200 which was a little bit pricier than we usual experience at a typical Italian restaurant so just a heads up. Otherwise, this is a good place for fine dining in the area with nice staff and good portion food

We were in the mood for pasta/italian. Okay....I wasn't…read moregoing to write a review this time because small towns and local restaurants need to survive so I didn't take any photos. I was just expecting decent. But I think what's unsettling is the price point so here is what we thought so you can make your own decision. I had a starter, the PAN SEARED DAY BOAT SCALLOPS. With this dish you get 3 scallops. I imagined typical-sized scallops but these were super small, about the size of a quarter (coin). The sauce and fennel salad tasted fine but for price I was imagining bigger. I think these were $24. The scallops were not that "fresh off the boat" taste, but edible. For price, I would say $18 at most. To be fair. The pasta with marinara was decent, but for boxed pasta and most likely canned sauce, $30 is a bit much to ask. We Asked for extra Parmesan cheese, instead of freshly shredded at the table, it came in a dish. That's more about being an Italian restaurant than cost. But to far, $20-$22, with fresh Parmesan! Not $30. We also ordered a mixed green salad, which was more like a side salad for 1. Again overpriced. The waiter said it was enough for 2 but it's not that big! Maybe 1 person eats and the 2nd person gets 2 bites. We did like the dressing. So in the end, the food was just okay (not fresh) but what made it all hard to swallow was the price point for quality ratio. Big city prices. $100, for 2. ;a plate of pasta, a starter, 1 salad, & 2 glasses of wine).
