Apparently they like their whiskey here!

The Paddy burger was great and the bacon on it made it exceptional! It was a loud and lively establishment as one would expect of a pub! Menus are on the table and you order at the bar (this can be a little tricky if you are dining alone because you want to keep your table but you also have to get up and go to the bar to order)! The first bartender I talked with was a bit gruff. I try and think maybe people are just having a bad day. Hopefully she got over that. The second person who helped me was super nice and hospitable and she's the reason I actually stayed and didn't turn around and walk out. The Guinness on tap was delightful!

Joined about 12 friends for a meal here. We had a reservation so it wasn't a problem. Only strange thing was we had to order at the bar as the three tables next to the bar don't have a server assigned? Weird? Not a huge issue as we were served fairly fast for such a large party. Started with an app., scotch egg. It was good but first time I hard one with a soft yolk. I thought it was a bit light on the sausage surrounding the egg, Minnesota State Fair still has the best. The main course arrived shortly after. I had the fish and chips. All I can say is WOW! Batter was light and crispy. Outstanding flavor on the batter and the Alaskan cod. You get plenty to eat. FF were crispy and piled high. Good value. The decor is Irish all the way with plenty of booze, in fact the biggest wall selection I've ever seen. Fun place and right on the MAX light rail line.

It was fine. We went after the Shamrock run and it was very crowded and very loud. You have to order at the bar and then they bring it to your table. The food is fine. We didn't get anything special just some loaded fries and a beer. They do have outside seating as well.

Lamb stew and espresso martini month special

Came in mid day for espresso martini month. The bar was pretty full but otherwise it wasn't too busy. Great ambiance with plenty of cozy booths to relax in with a drink. The espresso martini was tasty and strong. The cup of lamb stew hit the spot and the roll that came with it was so good. Honestly it's not my usual type of spot but I'd be back for sure when it's quiet like this. It was the perfect place to catch up with a friend or get lost in a book. Bartender was friendly and seemed to have some regulars too.

We were in Oregon fir a day and decided to go back to Paddy's. We had good memories from 2019 when we were in Portland and went to paddy's everyday and had the crop nachos and lots to drink. Even celebrated New years. We went back and ordered nachos but now they are with tortilla chips not Irish nachos with potato crisp :( was disappointed but happy to come and see Paddy again. We had local beer and headed back. It was nice to see the place but nothing out of the ordinary to write home about. Service was good nice ambiance.

I love Irish Pubs and found this place on a trip out to Portland that was close to my hotel. Walked down around 8PM to get a Guinness and some food. There was one other group of people there, so decided to belly up to the bar to watch the end of the MNF game. Both the bartenders were friendly and chatted with me as they were prepping to close. There are plenty of drinks to choose from, but I stuck with my Guinness (perfect pour) and ordered the Bangers & Mash (bartender recommended over Fish & Chips). This combo was perfect and plenty to eat.

Little bar with excellent quality food at a low price. We were surprised/impressed by how good the food was. This was just a few of us trying to choose where to go. There are four different bars in this strip mall; one had only high bar stools, (Not appropriate for on older person.), another smelled like smoke as soon as you opened the door...Then there was Paddy's; which was clean, had table seating, and served food. We weren't expecting much due to the prices, but everything was cooked properly, had fabulous quality meat, and tasted great, fries are FRESH!!! They appear to be just cut. They have great flavor and not oily. Actually none of their food was greasy. They only take cash; but they have an ATM if needed.

This is a cool little Irish bar. Great Decker great location downtown Portland close to the waterfront. We had beers we had some shots. We had a great appetizer meal. We had the loaded fries, fish, and chips and the brussels sprouts hands-down best I've ever had. Great price amazing service definitely recommend this place solid five star.

Having tucked away spaces lined with books to actually sit and read, talk, or hang out in is so rare in a bar setting. It makes it feel more like a community space than just another tap house. At the same time, it works really well for large groups, we've rolled in deep before and never had an issue finding room to spread out. The beer selection is excellent. Thoughtful and rotating enough to keep things interesting without being overwhelming. Whether you want something hoppy, something dark, or something easy drinking, they've got you. Outstanding! This space suits so many purposes: studying, catching up over a drink, planning/researching, etc. There's even a conference room with seating for 11 that you can reserve. You can play board games here if no one's home is big enough for your group (their website says they no longer book the conference room for board games, but you can game there if it's not reserved). There's a few games in the upstairs green room closet. On a Sunday afternoon, there were plenty of spots open, but it is not dead either. Theres a variety of seating to suit all body types and preferences. First floor is wheelchair accessible. The upstairs bathroom has ducks on the ceiling so that's worth a visit alone. The blueberry rooibos iced tea is delicious and you add your own sweetener at the drink station. It literally feels like hanging out at a friend's house. Worth popping in if you haven't been. You can check the current drink selection on their website. You order in the entryway and then carry your items to your seat. Bus your dishes back to the entryway when you leave.

My mom had special requests as usual, and this waitress was very nice as well, but the joint was not as accommodating as some others have been.
