I have now ordered twice from Pagliacci's. This review is for their delivery-only location on 98th Ave. Their pizza is satisfactory... it's a few steps above Little Caesar's, a mountain above Domino's, but still not as good as Grimaldi's, Round Table, Woodstock's, Franky's (for my Chico peeps), or most pizza places in New York with a four-star or greater rating... The spicy pepperoni is good, and so is the sausage, but the cheese tends to arrive in that plastic-y texture by the time delivery reaches your door (and I'm practically across the street), even though the pizza is still hot. The delivery drivers aren't very enthusiastic, but I guess it's not really expected to be excited about delivering pizza :) The phone order-taker is always upbeat and friendly. The ordering process is "easy" because they store your information from your last order (without asking permission first), including your credit card number (!). This threw me off a bit because I never opt to store my credit card number anywhere. For those that love convenience over security, this will seem like a great feature and benefit to you; for me, not so much. I might order Pagliacci again for a late-night craving coupled with extreme laziness and a total disregard for my cholesterol and credit card security. read more

First, I'm long overdue for a review on this place. I have been ordering take-out/delivery for over a year from here. But I feel like I have a solid exposure to their food and customer service now. Overall this place is top notch! Pizza: It's not the best I've had by any means, but it is quite good. The openings are quality and always fresh. My biggest gripe is the crust, which is a very subjective subject! I prefer my pizza crust to be either thin and crispy (NY or brick oven style) or thick (Chicago style). There pizza crust is right in the middle. With that being said, it is the favorite pizza of my wife and kids in the area. They always have some fresh seasonal options that my family and I try out. Lots of them sound a bit different, and we have loved most of them! Salads: Their salads are top notch! I have tried them all and they are all great, but I always go back to their Pagliaccio Salad. Customer Service: This puts these guys from a 4 star review to 5 star. They are fantastic. I have never hand an inaccurate order. They have been on time every time except for once. One time they were late with a delivery by 25 minutes, they fixed it immediately without any complaints from me. They took 50% off of my order, and mailed me a $25 gift card!!! It's not bad pizza but overpriced in my opinion. I was on my way home from getting some chores done and not feeling like cooking. I stopped by as I had passed by for years without actually trying it. The kid taking my order was nice and friendly, so a star for that. The place was nice inside and pretty clean so another star. The real problem started when I looked at the prices. I decided on a spicy pepperoni pizza and since I wanted more than a couple slices I picked the 13" and it was almost $20! Seemed pretty steep for such a small pizza with only one topping. Then they told me it would be about 15 mins and I had more chores to finish before it got dark so I asked to have it delivered since it said free delivery and I only lived up the road a few blocks. Boy was that a hassle. The kid had to get a manager, who mistakenly changed someone else's order first. Then after voiding my order had to redo it all over again. I signed my receipt and added a tip for delivery. They said it would be about 25 mins, which I thought was weird since they had already put in the order and I only lived about 2 mins away but whatever I wasn't going to wait. The delivery guy showed up about 25 mins later and had me sign another receipt, which I found odd since I had already signed 2 at this point. He said it was probably because they had never had someone come in to order for delivery, which I guess is not the norm. Anyways, it was a decent pizza but that's it. I love pagliacci's pizza and have been a long time customer. I frequent other locations but happened to be in the area because my dad was waiting to be seen in the emergency room at evergreen hospital. We had been there several hours so I ordered the pizza but couldn't get out of the hospital to get it for an hour. I got there 15-20 mins before their posted closing time. I arrived to find the door locked and the staff who I could see through the glass and who clearly saw me, pretended they didn't see me. I even knocked on the door and they kept up their pretense of not seeing me or hearing me knock. If I had been there past closing and asking for my pizza it would have been one thing, but I had ordered and paid and was just picking up my pizza before their posted closing time! I will not be returning to this franchise again. So disappointed! read more

After an extremely awkward experience at the Romio's around the corner, we decided to give Pagliacci a try. Immediately, we were given a genial welcome by a gentleman who gave the impression of being an owner or manager. We ordered two pies, paid (a not-small-but-not-unreasonable amount), and walked across the street to get donuts. When we came back, not only were our pies ready, but the gentleman who took our order brought them out to us because he saw us outside. Really top-notch service. Turns out the pizza is very good, as well! As a born-and-bred New Jerseyan, the pizza out on this coast is a strange and alien thing to me - the texture is usually all wrong and the flavor profiles are bizarre. Getting proper brooklyn-style pizza requires an hour and a half investment and a trip out to Brooklyn Bros. I find myself wishing I could get that type of crust closer. That said, none of this little tangent reflects badly on Pagliacci! The pizza, despite being different from what I grew up with, was a delicious example of why the local pizza can be good on its own! We will absolutely order from this location again. (Also, there's an extremely poor-taste criticism, further down in these reviews, of the employees' appearance. When it comes to quality pizza, Pagliacci delivers! Having been a long time fan at their other locations I was eager to order from here when up this way. Upon ordering online it would take one hour for delivery. Wow, I was shocked at the cook time and glad I planned ahead. 5 minutes after it was scheduled to arrive I get a call that the pizzas will be coming late. Another 15 minutes and the driver arrives and deducts what amounts to one medium pizza from the order. So it ended up being a buy one, get one free. Ok by me. All that aside, the pizza tasted as I expected, on par with other locations. The star being the Verde Primo which had a nice balance of goat cheese to pesto atop a tomato base and blend of vegetables. The Spinach and Chicken was a bit dry without a base, having just cheese and mushrooms. Pagliacci is miles above the national pizza chains so the higher prices are worth it if you're looking for a quality pizza. They could still perfect some of their dishes and perhaps cut back the menu to refine it overall. read more

We moved here last summer and we have been wanting to try Pagliacci! We finally got around to it! Wow! I wish we have tried sooner. We got the medium PSR pizza, absolutely delicious and fresh ingredients. We called in and ordered delivery. The man on the phone was so friendly, they did contactless delivery, because of pandemic. Food was estimated about 40 minutes, I was not fully tracking, but it definitely didn't take long. Food was hot and delivered safely. The delivery driver knocked and walked back to car slowly, I was able to thank him from the door. We will definitely be ordering again. read more

I just got The Rocket pizza and a small Pagliaccio salad delivered. I am so impressed. I haven't even finished my dinner and I've stopped to write a review. The guy that I spoke with to place my order was super nice. We discussed the (semi-) recent switch my address underwent to be incorporated into Kirkland. This often poses an issue for people trying to find the place. He took my order and told me they should be there in about 35 minutes. I checked my call time. It was 6:12 when I placed the call. At 6:47, the delivery guy rung my doorbell. I have *never* had anything delivered even close to the estimated time, so I jumped for joy all the way to answer the door. The delivery guy let me check out the pizza and he was on his way. I was left with a need-to-let-it-cool-down pizza and a cold and unwilted salad. I could not be more pleased! read more

This is our go-to for pizza, but when we discovered the calzones, we really fell in love! I get a calzone with ricotta, pepperoni and spinach and it's to die for! Always cooked perfectly and so decadent. We also get a calzone with mozzarella, jalapeño, and pepperoni, and when we feel like splurging, we add in the delicious Caesar salad. The only thing I'd say is that once in awhile the salad will be too soggy or have way too many croutons, (the croutons are delicious, just unnecessary with all the pizza carbs) but the other night the salad had tons of greens and we were really happy! I always order take out from this location and never check in so I forget to write a review. Pagliacci Pizza is by far the best delivery pizza around. They are always precise on the wait times when they think they can get it out to you and I mean by the minute. Last night I called and ordered our usual pizza and they said 35 minutes. They showed up at 33 minutes. They got it down. We always get 1/2 Chicken, Mushroom & Spinach and 1/2 "12TH Man" The 12th man is delicious and is there off the menu special but you can order it all year. I discovered this one last year during football season and continue to get it all year long. It has pepperoni, peppers, olives, salami & chicken on it - that side is for the BF but I like it too. The chicken, which is my side, is also delicious and even is a little on the spicy pepper side sometimes. I will admit, the pizza is not the cheapest but the quality is definitely there and same with the delivery punctuality. read more

We like going Pagliacci for there Pagliacci Salad! They do not serve slices at this location but you can order an 11 inch and probably finish it! Not to criticize but the guys who work there look like their Sasquatch T-shirts!!? Bearded guys who prepare your Pizza's and salad's and I wonder if any hair follicle's fall into the food!? But it's up to you to take that chance I guess! I was too hungry when I got home and devoured the 11" pie! But you know, like most pizza places.....it's your field of choice and taste! Let's be clear - super expensive compared to every other delivery pizza out there. That said, I've never seen Dominos offer Uli's chicken sausage and morel pizza. Really high quality toppings (the sausage and spicy pepperoni are standouts here) and super accurate (if somewhat longer than I'd like) delivery estimates. Normally I'd ding them for not having an online ordering system...but there's no wait for their (presumably centralized?) phone ordering system. The phone orders are taken in some very quiet call center - I've never had to repeat even ridiculously complicated orders - and they do things like remember that the last time I ordered a sausage and mushroom pizza I added spicy pepperoni, and would I like to do that again? (Yes. Yes I would.) Check the frequent pie-er - it's not always worth doing but sometimes it's great. There's also a perpetual special - buy one small pizza, get the second one for $6.99 (which is generally more than half off.) Great for two indecisive people. read more
