Place is amazing. Recommend the restaurant highly. Good food, steady service and restrooms are alright. Had a great family time. We certainly will be back.

$51 weekend all you can eat! Located in a very food filled complex, and the environment was quite nice - not too smoky since they had the vents. Had to flag down some waiters but they were understandably busy manning all the tables. We asked for pineapples on the side to grill and they were very accommodating. Meat was very worth it, and quality is consistent with that of an AYCE KBBQ. Ribeye steak is 1 piece per person and that is probably one of my favorite cuts.

This place is great for AYCE kbbq! They have a vast menu with a ton of items, so you can try a bunch of things. I would stick with the pork and beef, and some of the sides. We came without a reservation and only had to wait around 15 minutes for a table, which was really convenient. My favorite items were the spicy beef brisket, garlic pork belly, and marinated rib finger - all of them were so flavorful and juicy. I also enjoyed the ribeye, which I'd definitely recommend taking advantage of the one per person limit. Their steamed egg was also one of the best I've had, and their banchan were great too! Service was super attentive and came to check on us for a grill change / next round of orders very often. I appreciated how friendly they were too. Highly recommend!

This place had a rocky start when it opened (and a rocky, delayed road to opening), but now that it's been here for over a year, it's a decent place. They've tuned some things and made improvements, and that's good. THE GOOD The food is great. The incredible variety of meats and side dishes was fantastic, and the quality was top-notch. All very good. They have overhead venting (that's the dark shadow you see in every grill photo on this listing), and it works very well. They aldo change out the grill grate for you as you cook, which is a particularly nice touch. Temp was just right, and they provide plenty of utensils. THE BAD The place is louder than it needs to be, mainly because the music is blasting at too great a volume in this kind of space. The space is pretty in an industrial, concrete, and metal kind of way. Seating is comfortable--with one big exception. If you sit along the wall, all is good. If you sit in the middle, you will be C-O-L-D in the winter. They leave the back door fully open, creating a wind through the restaurant. A cold and fairly strong wind. Ask them to close the door (because everyone at your table is wearing coats and is still uncomfortably cold), and they will begrudgingly comply. But the door will get propped back open (not fully), which still creates a cold wind, just not the hurricane-force wind from before. This is unacceptable in a restaurant like this. I get that the kitchen gets hot, but that's expected. Don't punish your guests for it. The service to get seated is not great. No reservations. Understaffed. A wait for a table when there does not need to be a wait. During mealtime, the service improved markedly and was great, but getting to the point of ordering was not pleasant. Great after that. That low health department score (only Okay). Ugh. It's been that way since they opened. They really need to address that and improve their score. This issue kept us away for a long time, and it's definitely a yellow flag that needs to be cleared by the management. Loved this place overall, and we will return. But the freezing wind and the only Okay health score both need to be fixed.

Food: 5/5 Love love love this place! If you want an AYCE kbbq experience for a fair price and quality meats, this is where you want to go! The side dishes were pretty good too! Service: 5/5 They are tentative and were accommodating to my odd requests (I was the person in your math tests getting an odd amount of things, in this case the sweet potato slices). They were really kind and recommended me meat options that were "bang for your buck". Ambiance: 5/5 Typical KBBQ place, high ceilings, loud, large tables, nothing you won't see at a kbbq place. Overall: 5/5 I'd go again. Great place for large gatherings or a solo day

The quality is very nice with lots of seating! There's also staff is very friendly and they are quick with getting you meats and changing the grill. However, for 2 people it was about $140 (including tip) so definitely expensive for kbbq.

I came here on a Saturday around 5pm for dinner with my group of 7 and our wait time ended up being about an hour. With this being said, it's best to come early here since there's always a ton of people waiting to eat here on a weekend. Thankfully, you can put your name on a waitlist and wait for a text saying your table's ready, all while walking around the Totem Lake area where you can check out Cinemark, Trader Joe's and other places around the area. To get here, parking in the parking garages nearby is suggested. It's bustling like hell here with tons of noise from patrons, servers walking back and forth around the area, and K-pop music blasting from the speakers and on TV sets around the restaurant. There's a combination of indoor and outdoor seating, where outdoor seating has some heat lamps. Regardless, be prepared to smell like grilled meat by the time you're done here. Service was very rushed among many of the servers we asked for certain utensils like extra plates, water and napkins. One server also accidentally knocked over my chopsticks, and it took a little while to flag down another server to ask for a new pair and - at one point - even a plate for sharing. Our food was still solid though, especially with the meats we got from their all-day premium deal. My favorites were the marinated pineapple steak and the top blade steak, and my table - which was mostly split between a 3- and 4-person group but still together - got those two meats multiple times. Both had a nice marinated flavor that we kept coming back for. Our sides were also pretty good; they have soft tofu soup here, and they don't skimp on the spice on it. Truffle fries were one of my friends' favorite.

Very fast service, before the waiter left our table, our request came out as he was taking our order. Meat quality is pretty good. The grill has a hood so you don't smell too much like KBBQ afterwards like other places. Has a decent amount of variety of sides. Love that they have steam eggs and soups! Always a nice treat if you want to spend a bit more and get good quality and value.

Good and solid KBBQ spot with a modern, clean atmosphere. The quality of the meat feels good and well prepared, and everything looks fresh. The staff is friendly and fast. The space is nice and updated. That said, it is kind of expensive, and for the price, it doesn't feel as worth it compared to some other KBBQ places that offer similar or better options for less. Still, if you're looking for a modern vibe and decent-quality meat, it's a solid choice.

My friend and I decided get KBBQ and she said this was her go-to. I decided to invite some friends and they were all raving about it, so I was intrigued. I had no idea this place existed and I often came to this area for other things. This restaurant is kind of hidden but not. You can easily miss it if you aren't paying attention. We arrived around 4:30pm on a Sunday and only half the place was full. The place seemed newer and more modern for most KBBQ restaurants I've been to. This place was very minimalistic and vibes were more fitting for people in their 20-30s. We were seated fairly quickly and served almost immediately. Not long after we started eating, they were SLAMMED. All the seats were taken up and there was a huge line out the door. It looked like people were lined up for a club. We showed up at the PERFECT time. Surprisingly, the service did not slow down at all! If anything, I felt like the servers picked up the pace! I was thoroughly impressed with the service. The food was good! They had the largest variety of pork belly I've ever seen. Definitely heaven for pork belly lovers. And the cuts were thick, scored, and wrapped beautifully when they bring it to you. I was so hungry that I forgot to take a picture of it. Everything else was pretty standard. The brisket, beef belly, and kalbi were good but nothing stood out. The pork belly was definitely the star, but the thing that was missing was ssamjang. The banchan was solid. I really enjoyed the kimchi and the pickled daikon. One thing I'd note is that the servings were small. I normally would complain about that, but the service was so quick that it didn't matter. In fact we were able to control the portions better and the meat was always fresh. It was a great first experience and I'll have to come here again to get a picture of that pork belly.

This was my first ever Korean BBQ. I have nothing to compare to so take my review with a big grain of salt! I'm not really a fan of all you can eat places. And this restaurant was super noisy and HOT! It was a hot day as well but it seemed like there was zero ventilation inside. The servers were super friendly and helpful! 5 stars! All the meat I tried and sides were delicious. There was nothing that I didn't like. Truffle pork belly and beef bulgogi stood out in flavor for me. If you're a meat lover, this is the place to be! If you enjoy talking over dinner, this isn't it haha.

Big upgrade to the service and quality of meats and dishes offered since their soft opening. It seems like they've really trained their staff and they have everything dialed in now. Restaurant gets pretty busy on a regular weekday evening, seems like no reservations needed unless you have a large party of 8+. I got the premium set and I'd recommend this one because it comes with the big bone short rib (the asado). Comes out to about $70 for premium course with tax and tip per person. Ambiance is a little loud with the high ceilings and the sound of grilling everywhere but overall a great time to go with friends.

Ask the Community - Seoul Meat Co

Can I get on the waitlist when I'm on the way?

First come, first served. No reservations.

Are children counted as "per person" and charged the same as adults?

No they do not charge the same as an adult- they charge children by height. You can find that information at the bottom of the menu. Check out the photos of the menu on yelp to see what height is what price.

Does this place have a phone that works? I found two numbers for them. Neither get answered and both say mailbox full. Just trying to find out if they have tables for 9 people or not. No website, no phone, seems a bit weird?

You are right that they don't do a good job of answering the phone, but occasionally at low times they will answer. They can make large tables together for you, yes, we have sat 12 before.

When does lunchtime end?

3pm

Do they take reservations?

Not that I know of. You have to show up and put your name down on their virtual waitlist then they text you when your table is ready.

Do they only offer AYCE? Or is there any option for regular dining?

I believe they only have AYCE

Is this an all you can eat? 40 dollar for the table or per person?

This price appears to only be during their soft opening and it's per person.

Do they take reservations?

Yes

For a group of four adults with a normal hungry, we ordered a small beef set and fried chicken, which was plenty. The banchan was fantastic, especially the Myungranjut. Call me old fashioned, but I initially questioned the caesar salad served instead of the more traditional ssam or Korean-dressed salad. I enjoyed it, but I still think I would have preferred the more traditional vegetable offering to bring a bit more freshness and levity to the meal overall. Caesar was good and interesting, but definitely richer than the traditional option. The meat quality was even more excellent than we anticipated, and much to my delight, the banchan was very authentic. The kimchi definitely packs a punch and it really made me happy to see a nicer Korean restaurant stay true to authentic flavors instead of trying to appeal to the American masses. Service was SO attentive, I'm more accustomed to beloved strip mall restaurants with curt ahjummas so it was definitely a noticeable difference. We will definitely be back to explore more of the menus!

My first time, we came with another couple and ordered 6 dishes. My favorite part about this place is the rotating banchan that is unique and house made - different each time we came. My favorite dish both times were the cold noodles - refreshing and really tasty. They had solid seafood pancake and I really liked the soondobu also. Kalbi was OK and portion was pretty small. The second time we came also early on a weeknight and had a very long wait because they seem to be understaffed even though there was plenty of seating. Besides the wait (understandable, they did warn us), I would say the biggest disappointment was getting one of the combos. It seemed like a "good" deal (seems like it's meant for 3 people) but turns out, the dishes are even smaller than the already small dishes; for example, the stir fried squid was 90% vegetables, and they only provided 2 fried dumplings even though the portion does come with 3 bowls of rice so it is difficult to split. I would stick with just ordering what we want on the menu next time. A splurge, but decent place to take guests/entertain overall.

My family and I often come in for lunch; we're big fans of the lunch sets where you can choose 3 meats, salad, and miso soup for about $20! Our personal favorites were the sweet soy toro beef and the spicy pork. I think compared to other people's experiences, I thought the staff were kind, attentive, and really improved our experience this time around! They told us how long to grill the meat for, what sauces they thought paired best with each cut, and even fixed our grill when it wasn't working properly. I was already a big fan of gyu kaku cause of their food, but the staff here were an added bonus as well. We'll definitely be coming back!

On top of that, when we politely asked a server about a dish that never arrived, his response was extremely rude. He told us, "We know what we're doing," instead of offering an apology or solution. To make matters worse, we noticed cockroaches on the walls, which is completely unacceptable and very concerning from a hygiene standpoint. Between the long wait times, poor customer service, and serious cleanliness issues, this is not a place I would recommend. We expected much better.
