Loved our paint party with Edith. She was professional throughout booking and the event. She was timely, set up quickly and made us laugh during our paint session. I will definitely book her again.

    Good time painting

Edith was AWESOME!!! We didn't know we could paint LOL She brought the inner artist out in all US What a wonderful time we had. Edith took her time and helped those of us who needed a little extra help. I would highly recommend her for your next event. I know we will be scheduling another event soon All Our attendees left talking about what a great time they had. So easy to book and communicate with. 10 out 10

Great teacher artist. If you're looking to host a small or large gathering I highly recommend Edith's company. She brings all of the essential art supply's, she's punctual, accommodating, affordable, has a great selection of paintings based on skill level, and most importantly she knows how to guide individuals throughout the paint session. I've attended paint courses before and unfortunately have gotten let down, but this instructor can accommodate to any needs weather that is a beginner lever or advanced. Her prices a great considering she supplies all materials, comes to your residence or place of business, and is a professional guiding a group of individuals to paint a selected art piece.

    Awesome time!

This was our first time getting an instructor to help us paint and it was a great experience. I've done Wine and Paint in the past but this was more personal and a lot more fun. "I will be there every step of the way, ensuring that everyone leaves with a masterpiece they will be proud of!" this quote on her profile is exactly what happened. At some point i gave up on the painting and thought it was all done for. Edith to the rescue! With a little help and some encouragement I was able to salvage my painting and make something amazing. Will definitely run this back! Fun Fun Fun!

I am so glad I found her on Instagram. The class was so much fun. Everyone at the party had soooo much fun. We will definitely hire again! Edita is so nice and an amazing teacher.

She shared interesting stories about the neighborhood and the restaurants, which made it feel more like exploring the area with a knowledgeable friend rather than a typical tour. The food was delicious and plentiful, and we even met some really nice new friends along the way. Our very first Six Taste tour was actually the Arts District tour back in 2016, so it was special to return ten years later and experience it again. Over the years we've also enjoyed their tours in Downtown Los Angeles, Hollywood, Santa Monica, Thai Town, Koreatown, and Little Tokyo. Every tour has been a fun way to discover great food and learn more about the neighborhoods of Los Angeles. Highly recommend!

Six Taste Food Tours is a family-owned, LA-born-and-raised business, and you can feel the love, pride, and intention in every part of the tour. We did the Little Tokyo food tour and it was incredible from start to finish. Sally, the owner and our guide, is an absolute force. She is warm, knowledgeable, fun, and has the best energy. She doesn't just show you where to eat, she teaches you the history, culture, and stories behind the neighborhood while making sure everyone feels welcomed and taken care of. And the FOOD. Wow. You will not leave hungry. Sally feeds you like family and thoughtfully curates each stop so you're getting a true taste of the neighborhood, not tourist filler. Every bite was delicious and meaningful. This is not just a food tour, it's an experience. You're learning, laughing, vibing, and eating extremely well. If you live in LA or are visiting, this is a must. They offer tours in so many different neighborhoods, and after this one, I want to do them all. Do yourself a favor and book it. You will not regret it.

This place was super nice inside of a plaza in Little Tokyo. It's located on the 3rd floor and there is parking in the structure which can be validated by the staff in X Lanes. I was very pleased with our time there - we made a 9 pm reservation and was able to add more time later. We ordered food - some hits some misses but everything was decent. Our party ordered mocktails and cocktails - the verdict on the drinks was half and half. I thought my mango mule was just okay. It was lacking the mango flavor. When we asked for an accommodation, the security guard was rude and told us that if my son wanted water, he could walk all the way to the entrance every time, despite the distance from the bowling area. Hoping to resolve the issue, I spoke with the manager, Luis Gonzalez, but unfortunately he was just as dismissive and uninformed about autism and disabilities. Rather than listening and showing compassion, he was rude and unwilling to understand my son's needs. Businesses that serve families should make an effort to educate their staff about disabilities and neurodiversity. With autism becoming more widely recognized, basic awareness, empathy, and reasonable accommodations should not be too much to ask. This experience left us feeling unwelcome and unsupported. I will also be reaching out to upper management, including Cynthia Torres, to make her aware of this situation and to see whether changes can be made. As an autism mom, it is my responsibility to advocate not only for my son but for other individuals with autism and disabilities as well. No family should have to experience being dismissed or treated without understanding when simply requesting reasonable accommodations. My hope is that this feedback leads to better education, awareness, and compassion from staff so that all guests feel welcomed and respected.

(I admittedly went with a fairly traditional spoon design as I have never really carved before, but some of the folks here gave their spoons handles that were zig-zagged or had wild faves in them.) The instructor was very helpful, attentive, and fun, engaging us all in conversation as we whittled/carved. All the tools provided were of great quality, and they offer a ton of other classes that also seemed really interesting, with one of the people in the class talking up having taken stain glass earlier. I went solo, as did several other folks at my table, so it was a good mix of individuals, couples, and groups all coming together for spoons! It was really fun and I'll likely be back, either to make another spoon or to check out another class.

Restaurants which used to be filled with families every weekend now slowly find themselves closing earlier and earlier. The strong community that once was is slowly starting to age out and be pushed out. Luckily, there are new businesses finding roots in this part of Los Angeles and Element Art Center is a great example of how arts and crafts can bring life back to a community. After making a reservation for one of their classes and being let into the building you can look around and see how much of this space is made for building, crafting, and designing. With classes spanning from ceramics to stained glass it is a safe space to let your creativity run wild or be instructed. The instructors are young and teach in a way that welcomes questions without judgment. They encourage your creativity but also provide gentle direction along the way. With supplies provided if you are a novice learning a craft it is an artistic adventure without the cliff falls of expenses weighing you down. If you take their classes that last a few weeks or a month it also gives you access to come and go to create at your own pace. Element Art Center is a wonderful time whether you're doing a solo trip or being social with others. This is the kind of business that bring traffic to a neighborhood and help sustain it. Hopefully, more spaces for art will pop down the line in Chinatown but for now, it's fantastic we have Element Art Center to hold it down.

Marlene was a delight, really funny and fun to be around, and she taught us a lot of fun, easy things to make! We chose her sushi menu, and that included veggie spring rolls with a dipping sauce, edamame, miso soup (so yummy! I want to make more RIGHT NOW!), a ton of different rolls and nigiri (with albacore, salmon and ahi, I believe), diablo sauce (the guys had fun trying to out spice each other), and a really, really delicious sake-based sangria. Everything we made was really yummy, all the ingredients were fresh, and Marlene made every really easy and fun. Also, it was very unexpected, but Marlene even washed the serving plates and glasses we had used during the class! I totally did not expect that, but was very appreciative that she went that extra mile to try to make everything (even the clean up) easier for us. It's that kind of service and attention to detail that makes me want to be a repeat customer. If the five of us had gone out for sushi and drinks, I guarantee that we would have spent a heck of a lot more, and not had as much fun or learned anything. Maiden Kitchen cooking parties are SO much fun, and I can't wait until I have an excuse to have Marlene back again and to try a different menu (she has so many awesome menus to try!). I am not one you will find in the kitchen but under the supervision of Marlene (our Maiden Kitchen chef), everything turned out amazing! We made hummus, pita bread, salad and salad dressing, rice, chicken, baklava. The best part was that we were each provided with the menu, ingredients, and recipe so that we could recreate the meal on our own! Marlene has such great energy that only added to the fun my group of friends was already having. She did not hesitate to jump in or answer a question anytime one of us shouted her name. It was really a pleasure working with her. Oh, and the best part....Maiden Kitchen brought everything we needed and used to my house! Marlene brought all the ingredients, cooking bowls, etc, and dishes! Clean up was a piece of cake!!!! I would highly recommend Maiden Kitchen to others.
