This was the second time I had come to this location. The first time was for my SIL bachelorette's party and then again for Valentine's Day. I love when you walk in you see all the other paintings they did on display. I definitely want to go back and do a fall/halloween painting. The people who work there are very friendly and very knowledgable, however they clearly have a talent that I do not have! Or maybe its just more practice or patience. If you have never gone to one, technically you find a painting you want to do and sign up for that day. You can also book a private painting and pick what one you want to do. I love that you can bring in food and drinks. Just remember to bring cups, plates. They only supply you with complimentary water. I love that everyone there is very helpful and willing to give you tips to make your painting the best it can. If you check in on YELP they will give you a little something, this time they gave you a credit card holder for the back of your phone. Its a fun afternoon or night out. Just remember to schedule it in advance.

Had my daughters 13th birthday party here and it was so much fun. We had great instructors (shout out to Q and Jade). They were so friendly and helpful with EVERYTHING! I love that the atmosphere there is very homey and extremely comfortable.

I attended the 4 year anniversary party for painting with a twist. Instead of the usual $35 pp price tag they were offering a special deal 2 people for $35 which included a champagne toast. The room features seating for approximately 20 people. You are given an assigned seat with your group where you will have an easel set up with your canvas, paints and paint brushes. The class lasts about 2 hours and you paint along to the staff members instructions. If you are seated towards the back of the room away from the instructor you can watch the tv that is mounted on the wall for a better view. Two staff members would occasionally walk around the room to offer hands on help and instructions. It was very easy to follow along and they were happy and eager to help need be. Music plays throughout the class to keep the energy levels high. The music was a mix of karaoke type songs and dance music. The main instructor was funny and highly entertaining. I really enjoyed myself and would definitely visit again.

Visited this place twice. March 2016, enjoyed the activity, the facilitator was excellent. She had high energy, very personable. Parking was free on Sunday in lot directly across street. BYOB I had a not so nice experience booking my birthday party in October, 2015. Manager a little rude regarding sending my contract and following through with sending me emails. She rushed me off the phone when trying to ask questions. Eventually my event was scheduled.

Evy (sp) helped me fix my other dog's painting that was done at PWAT Ambler. I really hated the legs and background and as you can tell, it looks so much better now. I always leave satisfied at PWAT Jenkintown. They're great! (Note: the background isn't that dark in the second picture, the room was dark)

Took my wife here for Valentine's Day and she had a great time. The instructors were fun and friendly and walk you through the painting. Parking is a little rough as you need to feed the meters but it's only 25 cents/hour. If you're drinking there you technically shouldn't be driving there anyway. The idea of a BYOB painting place doesn't sound like anything special or super fun but then once you do it you realize how awesome it is. I don't see how you can't have fun here. We will definitely come back again.

I love painting with a twist! Great instructors, great fun. BYOB is a plus+++ You don't have to be an artist to turn out with a wonderful painting. The instructor will show you step by step how to recreate the selected painting, but with your own "twist"!

Painting with a twist was an absolute blast for my friend's birthday. The online reservation/payment system was easy. Pick a location, painting date and time and you're good to go. We arrived 30 minutes prior to the 7pm session and were ready to start our GNO. We reserved seating with a friendly hostess, grabbed our smocks and set up our refreshments. Our paint instructor, Alex, was hilarious and easy to follow. His assistant was very helpful with paint supplies and general direction. Definitely worth the $35, we had a great time and didn't feel that the room was cramped at all. It was a fun loving and friendly crowd of about 50 folks. Park in the lot across the street for only .25 an hour and parking in Jenkintown is free after 8. Evening sessions are great for a date or GNO. Afternoon sessions would be a fun time for kids to paint. 5/5.

Lucky for me, my boyfriend kindly surprised me with tickets to a Sunday night Paint Nite at St. Declan's Well where we were to paint a sunset scene with two dolphins and a palm tree. The night started at 7 PM, and they suggested you arrive 15 minutes early to set up. We were promptly greeted by Jess, our instructor for the night. The Paint Nite crew had taken over the back half of the bar with a blank canvas set up on a green table cloth for everyone. We selected two seats in the back, facing the opposite direction of the instructor- this wasn't a beg deal as we just turned our seats during instruction. Additionally Jess used a microphone and speaker so everyone could hear- this worked well, but I think it's time for Paint Nite to upgrade to a bit nicer of equipment. If you are coming with a bigger group- get there early so you can get seats together. I wish that Paint Nite would have done assigned seating. Some tables were overly crowded while others had room to share. After getting our cups of water and pumps of paint, we put on our aprons and started the class. At first we were a little nervous, but Jess led us through the entire thing and made it easy for anyone to participate. Jess took pictures throughout the night and later posted them on the company's facebook page which was nice. The bar was cool, but the service was horrible. The bar staff was rude and took way to long to fill orders. I don't think I would come back to this location for a Paint Nite. Overall this is a super unique activity and overall a great time sure to be filled with smiles, painted hands, and laughter. I can't wait to pick another painting and come again.

When I originally bought the deal from Living Social, it was quickly cancelled, which was a disappointment. However, a few days later I noticed the deal on Groupon, so I bought it again - clearly there are some technical/promotional issues, but thankfully, this time it was on! We did a Sunday paint nite at Head House Crab & Oyster Co, on 2nd and South. The space was huge and the restaurant and bar were pretty dead on Sunday at 7pm, so I can understand why they'd welcome a crowd of 30 painters - especially when those painters are being encouraged to drink throughout the entire class. I understand the reciprocal relationship of Paint Nite using the space and encouraging people to buy drinks from the bar, but the pushiness was obvious and got a bit annoying after 2 hours. As for the class itself, we painted "Fireflies" - an abstract sort of image that is evidently their most popular piece. Although the instructions were vague at time, it was an "Easy" level painting, and so they came out fairly well. Perhaps the most interesting and fun part was to walk around and see how 30 different people could interpret the same scene so many different ways - although I have to admit, it inspired some artist envy! Overall, the novelty of painting your own masterpiece, while being able to sip drinks, makes for a fun night out, especially if you gather up a group to go. At $50 a person, I wouldn't pay full price, but there seems to be no shortage of half-price deals floating around on the inter webs. Not sure if I'll be a repeat customer, because really, what do you do with a bunch of giant hand painted canvases? Nevertheless, check it out yourself, eager to see more reviews up here!

I progressed to Salsa 2 and the passion for the dance exudes from Maestro Flaco. I definitely advocate to take a few private lessons, after 3 I noticed a huge difference in balance and execution. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS! I wish I could leave zero stars…read more The emails I've shared should be enough to make you disgusted of Flaco and his business, but I'm going to leave a review anyway! I initially spoke with Flaco over the phone to arrange a dance appointment for my partner and I who were supposed to be married this June. He told me to Venmo him payment for the class ($125) so I did. The worst then happened -- I was suddenly hospitalized and given a Leukemia cancer diagnosis. I wish I was making this up, but when I emailed Flaco for a refund as it was impossible due to a medical emergency for me to attend, he told me I had until March 31, 2022 to use it. I cancelled on Feb. 11 for our Feb. 19, 2022 appointment, what I thought was plenty of notice. I never received ANYTHING verbally or written about their cancellation policy. Of course attending a dance class prior to March 31 was impossible for me because I have a long road ahead, I don't know what the future holds, and I also could just use the money  now that I'm facing a lot of medical bills. I then wrote back deciding to elaborate on my mentioned medical emergency and disclosed my Leukemia cancer diagnosis, sure that would be enough to receive a refund. I was shocked when he didn't reply to my email at all after I mentioned having leukemia, so I called him to discuss. I spoke to him briefly on the phone where he said he was still "debating this with his business partner," and proceeded to hang up on me when I asked him to do the right thing. All I want was a refund, but especially for him to do the RIGHT THING. I then receive an email (see images) where he mentions my "abrupt cancellation" (remember, I gave a week's notice and had NO idea there was a cancellation policy to begin with because Flaco never told me) and that his priority is his teachers. Please note that it was FLACO who was to be our dance instructor on Feb. 19, NOT one of his dance instructors. PLEASE have a heart, Flaco, and refund me for the class. It's beyond classless how you have treated another human being. Why is it so hard to do the right thing?
