0/5 stars would be my choice. Have frequented the restaurant many times over 5+ decades. In the last 18-24 months their service and food quality have declined. Many times to-go orders are wrong, with just an apology and no attempt to make it right. Most of the time you can't even get them on the phone to order. When asking about this the hostess just says "oh yeah the battery is dead on the phone." Recently tried calling for 20+ minutes and they would not take a full order because it was too close to closing time. Explained I had been trying to call and the person said "that's our policy and has been." They've lost a repeat customer. I'll go somewhere else now, even a national chain to avoid them. read more

We moved to this area a few months ago, and Paisanos has become a staple in our family choices! Let me just share our family favorites... Mine is the baked meatball casserole, my husband's is the super sub with extra crispy fries. Daughter is a chicken Parm fanatic, son number one is a pepperoni calzone fan, and son number two is a Philly steak and cheese fan. This is a wide and varied menu, something for everyone. I went to Pasianos not excepting wonderful food, but definitely left thinking that. Their dinner Greek salad with chicken was amazing. The blackened chicken was cooked to perfection and the dressing was incredible. In addition, our waitress was incredibly friendly and checked on us multiple times. Restaurant is clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Greek salad was fresh and the homemade Greek-Italian dressing is worth writing home about. The gyro plate was fantastic. We stopped here because it seemed like the best option off of exit 63. Meh at best. Ordered a gyro and only ate a 1/3 of it. I didn't enjoy it at all, and this girl loves a gyro. The side salad with the house Greek dressing was good. I asked for more romaine than iceberg, and the server was happy to oblige. There was no discount for adding a side salad to a meal. Went to dinner with my brother and other family from out of town. We arrived at 5:30 and asked for seating for 9 (my brother and our family from out of town hadn't arrived yet). The hostess went and got a gentleman who said he was the owner. He wasn't the friendliest guy I've ever come across in my lifetime, but I decided I would give him the benefit of the doubt. He then pointed to two tables and said that was all he could offer us. It was going to be a tight fit, and there were other empty tables close by that he could pull over, but he insisted that the 2 tables was all he had. I didn't want to make a scene or wait for other tables to clear out so we decided to take the tables. My brother and the rest of the family arrived and we squeezed into our seats. Our waitress came over, and my brother asked if we could get one of the other empty tables pulled over to give us more space. He said he had tried to call earlier in the day to make reservations for our party, which is something he has done in the past, but this time they told him they didn't take reservations. The waitress said she couldn't. Apparently the same gentleman (the owner) was close by and overheard my brother talking with the waitress and came over and rudely confronted my brother and essentially said take it or leave it. At this point, we probably should have left, but we decided to stay anyway. Our waitress was nice, and the idea of trying to find another restaurant that seats 9 without a long wait was not appealing - especially when kids are involved. We ordered our food. It came out pretty quickly. Nothing exceptional. My cheesesteak sandwich was super greasy. The mozzarella sticks were cold. The Italian sub didn't have much meat and was greasy too. The pizza looked pretty good, but it was soggy on the bottom - too greasy as well. The Calzone looked good. As our meal started to wind down, the table behind us cleared out and was cleaned by the waitress. She then started setting the table and placed a Reserved sign on the center of the table which was kind of interesting since the owner was adamant about the fact that they don't take reservations for large parties. My brother questioned the waitress who tried to play it off by saying it was for people that come every week and that we wouldn't understand. I quickly asked the waitress for the check because it was about to get ugly in short order. Needless to say, we won't be going back to this establishment. My brother lives closer than I do to Paisano's and eats there with his family quite often. I should say he used to eat their quite often. I think the idea of good customer service and treating customers like family is not a high priority for the owner. Instead it appears to be about turning tables and slinging greasy food. A restaurant with average food at best can only survive for so long when an owner treats his customers as poorly as we were treated this evening. read more

Paisanos was a disappointment for me, I must admit. The reviews are quite complementary but my experience was rather terrible in comparison. All of the things I am going to say are not bad by themselves but lumped together they can only award this restaurant a single star. To start, the menu has far to much going on, at least fifteen items need to be removed. The service, while somewhat friendly was a not what it should have been. The waitress almost never checked on me and it seemed to be a bother for her when she did. The Food: The salad was lettuce with a wedge of tomato and a small slice of cucumber with an italian dressing that was little short of bland. The garlic bread was supremely terrible as it was a piece of dry bread with a strip of butter that barely tasted of garlic at all. Finally the main course was the Spaghetti Combo which comes with a small link of "italian" sausage and a surprisingly good meatball. The sauce was bland and unexplanably boring. The crowning achievement and single greatest part of my meal was the mozzarella cheese on top of the spaghetti. It was baked on, robust, and awesome. The Verdict: As I said, none of these things if presented by themselves are horrible but combined they presented nothing but disaster. If you want Italian, look elsewhere. read more

Paisanos is a house hold favorite. We love ordering out and going for dine in. Some of our favorites are the Calzones, Stramboli, and their pizza's are just awesome. Their service is generally nice and helpful. The dinning room can sometimes be a little on the noisy and crowded side BUT generally it's a nice place to dine. My chicken Parmesan was so delicious! I love the sauce and the cheese. We always enjoy our meal here. The dairy and meat free options are pretty limited but marinara with veggies or a loaded veggie pizza without cheese are always good choices.
