We were in the mood for pizza and decided to check out Pizza Inn. Covid-19 response: you picked up a new spatula at the beginning of the line and dropped it off at the end of the line for the pizzas. The salad bar and pasta bar had its normal pre-COVID-19 setup. There was a sign to use gloves but no gloves in site. Tables were marked for use and non use. Very few guests wore masks. All staff did wear masks. We had a great time and the pizza was awesome. It was a Thursday night but my goodness they had quite the selection. Very unsatisfied i ordered from DoorDash and I only received my two salads. It clearly says on their 3. items and I ordered a pizza and did not receive my pizza which is fine. I did a refund through DoorDash, but I did also call pizza inn to let them know that I did not receive my pizza. We had driven past Pizza Inn a number of times and didn't really know what to expect. The night we went for our first time, there was a fundraiser going on and local band students were the waiters. She had no idea about the menu, how things worked, and neither did we. Thankfully we caught a waitress who explained that it was a buffet and we just needed to pay first, and told us how the buffet worked with the spatulas. We enjoyed all the options and while the pizza wasn't the best pizza ever, it was great having the variety and the price point was perfect for our large family. The buffalo chicken pizza was one of my favorites and I really liked the salad bar and the variety of options there. My kids liked the garlic knots and dessert options, especially the dessert pizza. The staff, though a little overwhelmed, was friendly and attentive. The place could have been cleaner, but I wasn't grossed out or anything. Mostly just thought they were short staffed and couldn't clean tables quickly enough. I was surprised at good the pizza was given my experience with pizza buffets in the 1990s. I would not imagine myself giving up five for a Pizza Inn until now. I had to say this pizza in was simple and clean. The salad bar was well stocked and items were rotated regularly. Worst pizza inn! I ordered a family meal deal right before close. Have not ordered to go in a long time because the last time I ordered it was not good. So of course when my son got home with it. The pan pizza was still doughy and the chip desert was so hard it was in eatable. They forgot the gallon of tea. So while my husband ate the beef and onion and me and the kids ate sandwiches because we don't eat onions. I called the next day the manager said he would replace the order. But then when I got there they charged me for the only pizza out of the whole order they didn't mess up which was a joke to me. You messed the whole thing up but one pizza and act like someone owes you 13.99 for that the entire order was only 30 dollars to begin with so really we only got half off. Boooo! I went on October 8th and the buffet was trash. I was there for a whole hour and only ONE pepperoni and ONE cheese pizza came out. Even put in a request for pepperoni and still no pizza came out. Unacceptable to have a pizza buffet without pepperoni/cheese on the table. Waitress was good but the readiness of the food was saddening. Don't know if I'll be back anytime soon due to the price and lack of pizza. read more
