I suppose pizza isn't that fresh, because I called immediately and they claimed there could be no adjustment as it was already placed in the oven. How could a fresh large pizza be in the oven 120 seconds after an online order is placed? They would not adjust and the store worker did not budge to help us at all. Not sure I would return based on not just an inability to edit the order, but the way the concern was handled. It tasted pre-prepared.

I called after 30 minutes after the tracker said it was on it's way. (Note we only live approximately 15-20 minutes from the store) I have tried giving as exact directions to where we stay but they seem to be taking longer and longer to get to make the delivery. Today I ordered again, but, I ordered it 4 hours in advance. We are now looking at over an hour from when it was supposed to be delivered. It is currently still not here. What do we need to do to get the food delivered on time? I did call the store after it was 45 minutes late, "oh it it will be there in 15 minutes", I asked why it is being so late? "We're busy" is what I'm told. When it was delivered it was COLD!!! If I'd have answered the door I would have declined the order since it was so late.

And she said yes yes yes etc. This time I called them and a manager answered the phone of course, it wasn't under my phone number, so I asked if the manager if she could just be called really quick to verify they avoided my question and said that she was off work, etc. etc. and I asked again I said OK you don't have her phone number like you can't just call her real quick to verify? The guy hung up on me. So I placed another order through the app and I pay for it. They were rude to me so I was rude to them when I went to the window and refused to move up so that people could be served out of line which I always find crazy anyway. They brought out more, disgusting tasting, still flat from their machine that still doesn't work. My guest ordered chicken Parmesan. Here is what was wrong with hers: 1.) Chicken parm is not supposed to be served chopped up as it loses all the heat, you're supposed to cut and eat like a steak. It's part of the experience. 2.) Sauce - bland. 3.) Pasta was overcooked. 4.) Cheese just rips apart, clear they don't shred their own and there's anti clumping ingredients in it. 5.) The spaghetti was cut up like a child's meal. The cardinal rule. Was absolutely falling apart I mean, literally my guest went to move one of the tables and the seats and the seat just came up looking around the entire restaurant you could just see cracked and chipped paint everywhere. They took zero pride on how everything looked. Also the bathrooms...I didn't use the bathrooms, but they even had a sign on them that said for guest use only. Completely rude!!! By posting signs like that you are saying to everyone that you think you are in business in a sleazy area and refuse to maintain cleanliness in the bathrooms. That's how it comes across. The entrance in, there are tacky hand drawn special taped ALL over the the door where you couldn't even see to the inside. I have to end it here, because I could keep going. Bottom line - I gave them one chance after opening - then another months later - never again. I would be 0/5 stars if I could. What keeps them in business and with decent ratings currently? To go orders, most don't go inside, and people have lower expectations when they get their food 20 minutes later already - a lot of senior folk in area and locals make it their go to because no other competition exists. So to anyone that knows my reviews, you'll know I am very blunt and honest. It's a chain pizza…read morerestaurant. That being said, they withhold the average rating for most. Half the time you'll likely have your food messed up cause it's a race to get orders out. The papa sizes from what I've seen always get skimped on the toppings and cheese just right before the crust. Sometimes they're cut properly, sometimes not. The wings are too small and mediocre. But let's be honest people - it's Papa John's. No one really "loves" their pizza. They love eating it so that they can get straight down to eating that bowl of garlic butter with the crust. I do not have a picture of their newer "Papadias". HOWEVER - those are baller status. $6 is just right for the price, they are decently sized and come with dipping sauce. Those are awesome. Their breadsticks are just cook bread, don't recommend. Ever so often, you WILL get someone that cares when making pizza and end up with an above average pizza. I would have to say their best pizzas are their Tuscan six cheese and their Hawaiian BBQ. I'd rate them four stars each. Everything else is average. This particular location gets one less star due to all the orders that have been messed up or missing items, the company itself gets the average chain pizza place rating of three stars. The rundown- Jalapeño Poppers - 0/5 stars Non existent "cream cheese" filling. Not a fluke, ordered them twice and was told that is how they are "portioned". The restaurant is small and with a standard theme, but it was neat and clean. The food was hot and fresh too. Right off the bat, I was excited to try the pizza. I'm tired of all the chain pizza places in the area, and Anthony's did not disappoint. The flavor was interesting, maybe an acquired taste with whatever ingredients they use, but I still enjoyed it! Especially the thin & crunchy crust, not doughy! The mozzarella sticks were also as expected. I have no complaints and would like to try an entree sometime.

This is a system that works, refined over years of Fridays, and I see no reason to disturb something that's already won. -- UPDATE: Wild Ace responded directly to address Henry's corn dog anxiety, confirming the mini corn dogs are staying and new kids' meal options are coming soon. It initially came with no basil, all the tomatoes were all in the center not scattered around, and the crust was burnt and hard. When I bit into the pizza, it crunched. Flatbreads aren't even cooked that much. We had to call in and get a new pizza. It had more tomatoes and this time it had basil, but the crust was still thin, overcooked and crunchy. Very disappointing. Refer to my video and of past photos. Whatever has changed, should be fixed sooner than later.
