My boyfriend's family has a Paisano's calendar hanging on their refrigerator, and October showcases a picture of the Paisano's chicken parmesan sub. So, almost every day for a week, I've walked by that picture, yearning to try that sub. I was a Paisano's virgin, so I had no idea if the sub would be good - all I knew was it sure did LOOK good. Today, I'd had enough. I needed to try that sub. We ordered online, which is an option I always appreciate. I was surprised by how large the menu is. There are salads, a kids' menu, pizzas, calzones, gyros (I hear they're amazing), pastas, hot and cold subs, desserts (cannolis, tiramisu, brownies!), so much to choose from. But we knew what we wanted! We got two orders of the chicken parmesan sub. It's normally priced at $7.99. Adding fries is $1.00 extra. They have a coupon right now for a sub combo with fries and a 20oz soda for $8.99, but we're not big soda drinkers. Great deal though! They deliver, but we opted for pickup. The order was ready in 20 minutes, which is great time. The location is kind of tucked away but not by a lot. Plenty of parking. The inside of the restaurant is small and seating is limited and close together, but everything looked clean and there are 3 TV's! Nice ones, too. Flatscreens. And one of those high-tech soda machines like the ones at Rio. Fancy. Customer service leaves a little to be desired as the cashier I paid was not very friendly and didn't smile, but the food really made up for it. When we got home and ate, we were blown away. The platter was not only packaged well and presented beautifully (like an open-faced sub almost) but it tasted so incredible. They were VERY generous with the melted parmesan, the marinara sauce was perfect, and the chicken was cooked well and very flavorful. Even the bread was fresh, soft, and delicious. So good. For the price and the amount of food you get, this sub platter is a steal. We couldn't finish it. Half is enough and we saved our other halves for later. I can't wait to try more of the menu here. I love Paisano's so much!! It is my go to for pizza. The sauce is everything. Toppings are delicious and well seasoned. I usually get the thin crust. The garlic sauce that comes with it really compliments the pizza. One time a couple months ago one of our orders was incorrect and they immediately sent us the correct pizza free of charge so we had pizza for days! This was my first try of Paisano's and I think my last. The pizza was smaller than advertised and their tomato sauce was far too sweet(practically inedible). They give a good distribution of toppings and the pizza was well cooked. The chicken wings were burnt, disgusting and had barely any sauce on them. The calzone was ok, but the stromboli was not. The dipping sauce was just the chunky sugary pizza sauce, not easy to coat with or scoop up. None of the modifiers I entered were paid any mind. read more

We ordered 2 subs and an order of fries. The order of fries was small portion wasn't a lot of fries at all, I don't recommend buying them. 2 subs and an order of fries were over 20$ so expensive. They charge like 78 cents for hot sauce in a container not worth it. Pizza is good though. Giving it 3 stars for that reason. read more

Got the Gyro. $8.49, $1.99 for fries, which I didn't get. Thought is was overpriced. Pita was chewy, everything else was good. Feta was SO delicious. Pizza crust was chewy too. Update... 8/31/19 I have updated my review Omar called me this evening after I went back and ordered 3 pizza's. He was kind enough to explain the pricing and I understand now that the price is correct for the changes in the pizza sizes. He also understood that I was upset because when I ordered the Redskins special I wasn't aware of the size changing until I pick up the pizza and he apologized for that. I really appreciate the phone call and the food is always great. He addressed the issue with the Parmesan cheese and told me that he would make sure that we received the proper amount for the amount of pizzas we order. Thank you Omar for contacting me. That is awesome customer service Their new large pizza sucks. We usually order the special when the redskins play, this time we ordered like usually only to find out after I pick it up that it is significantly smaller. The guy says this is our new large, I'm like what!! It would have been nice to be told that over the phone. So your telling me I'm paying the same amount for a smaller pizza that's ridiculous. So now there XL is the old large size and there new large looks like a medium pizza! But the price didn't change you pay the same for a smaller pizza and now more for the pizza you always paid less for. That was a stupid decision by corporate. I will no longer purchase their pizza!!! It's been a while since we moved here. I tried Paisano's Pizza out of curiosity and it was the best decision I've ever made. I ordered for delivery and I received the pizza way earlier than I expected and it was really hot. Not to forget, the customer service is really great. We are visiting the area for a soccer tournament and this was a great reprieve from the usual Subway sandwich type lunches that are usually available. Even though it was a very busy time the staff was incredibly attentive and courteous and tried to meet the needs of all. My wife put me on to this pizza place. The pizzas are pretty good, not too expensive, and usually they have a BOGO deal, which costs about 20 bucks for two pizzas. The delivery is fairly quick about 20 - 30 minutes for us, but we live about 2 miles away from it. Your mileage may vary. All in all a quick fix for your pizza cravings. The quick delivery time ensures that the pizza is always fresh and hot. Definitely beats papa johns and the few other nearby pizza places. read more

I cannot stress how hard it is to find a pizza place that has good service, cleanliness and quality ingredients. We live close to the outlets and we weren't sure if they delivered to us as their online ordering said they did not. We called and were surprised to find out they would deliver. (Have ordered a few times now but we call every time (just in case) before we order to make sure they are available to deliver. This place was pretty amazing both times we came here. My travel soccer team came to Germantown 2 consecutive weekends, and each time, my family ate here once. The pizza is pretty good. Not too much sauce, like other restaurants. The garlic knots weren't too filling, but very tasty, making them a very good appetizer. Fountain drink system was fine, but one time they were all out of half of the contents and none of the employees did nothing about it. Another time, an employee was working on the register machine. I assume she messed up, because she said, I kid you not, "Sh-t!" out loud. But, it was still a fine place to eat both times. Very tasty. read more

I saw Washington Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon do commercials on the TV for Paisano's, so that got my attention. So its true that commercials really do influence people to buy stuff once they see it advertised LOL. A deliver driver must have left a few menus in my apartment building, so I figured I would pick one up and place an order for the first time. Anyone close to me who knows that I love a good tuna sub. Paisano's tuna sub is excellent!!! They have one of the best tuna subs I have ever had and I rarely give that compliment about anyone's tuna sub. I got it loaded with lettuce, tomatoes, and mayo. I'm not sure what they prepare the tuna with, but I won't have to look any further because Paisano's will be my new go-to-spot for a tuna sub. As far as the pizza goes, I took one bite into a slice and there was no turning back for me. The pizza was VERY GOOD!!! It's kinda difficult to explain the taste because your taste buds will jump around, but now I see why Paisano's was easily voted Top 5 pizza places in Gaithersburg. It must be a collection of good dough, good tomato sauce, and good cheese. As far as this location goes, it's tucked away in a rather small, but clean shopping center. They have a large screen TV mounted on the wall and it's always tuned into the games on Sundays, so if you're more inclined to eat while you're at the restaurant and catch the game, feel free to knock yourself out. The seating area was very clean when I first arrived to pick up my order. If you're looking for something good to eat, do yourself a favor and swing pass Paisano's. I have been to Paisanos a bunch of times while working the Germantown area, the biggest thing is consistency, there pizza is the same everytime I go , its good pizza makes me remember home when I am out here. The pizza is crispy its fresh, the pepperoni is awesome. I love my pizza crispy, most places burn it , Paisano's makes a cripsy pizza without burning. Everyone was friendly, made me feel comfortable , never felt rushed or even like I wanted to get out of there. If you are in Germantown, this is the place for real pizza. read more

Ordered a gyro and fries. Food seems overpriced for the amount you get. Fries were bomb but the gyro was not good at all. Bread was hard as a rock.
