Lahd Na (Thai Gravy Noodles) -vegan and Tofu Triangles -
    Molly K.

I am in love with Sabai Sabai! The service is fantastic, they can easily make vegan meals, they have a nice beer selection, and the price point is so reasonable! My most recent visit I ordered the Drunken Noodles with tofu and asked for no fish sauce or animal products. The server replied back to me saying, "Vegan. Got it." I was so relieved they understood I wanted a vegan meal and I felt so at ease that I would be given an entree that was completely plant-based. I also ordered a beer with my meal for only $6! The beer came in a can however they gave me a glass as well. At that price I didn't mind the beer was not on tap. The food came out quickly despite their dining area being fairly packed. I was so impressed with how attentive the servers were while monitoring many tables. My drunken noodles were so flavorful with a little spice. I loved how well the vegetables were cooked and they were generous with the portion of tofu as well. I will certainly come back for more meals here and will continue to explore all the vegan options. I thank Sabai Sabai for a great experience!

Amazing! Always on point here. The staff are thoughtful and attentive. The food is consistently delicious and the presentation makes you pause and appreciate the care that comes from the kitchen hen. We have never had a disappointing dish. Always amazing always worth the drive always worth the trip. So glad they are back with an open dining room and are doing more than carry out. Hands down the best MoCo has to offer!

Friday 8/2/2024 I wanted to try some new Thai food in the area so I made a delivery order through Postmates/Uber eats and got the drunken noodles with chicken (medium spicy), Penang curry with chicken (mild spicy), and crispy duck with basil (mild spicy). All the items arrived secured and safe thanks to the smart packaging. - The drunken noodles was alright but you can definitely taste the KICK of that medium spice level. The spice was like the only thing I tasted, which isn't a good thing. I don't know if the spice was too strong for me or if it was the lack of flavor from the drunken noodles but either way I won't get the same exact thing for next time. - The Penang curry with chicken was my second favorite item as it was flavorful and tasty but the portion itself was definitely smaller than what I was expecting (especially when you consider the price tag). - The crispy duck was easily the best dish I had. It was crispy, juicy, moist, flavorful, and just all around very good. Also the glaze/sauce that was cooked with it complimented the dish very well. All in all, sabai sabai was a pretty good Thai food experience: I really enjoyed the crispy duck & Penang curry and I would certainly recommend it. The only reason I can't give it a 5 star is due to the fact that the chicken isn't free (it's $3 extra) and that's my first time dealing with that at a Thai restaurant and I ain't rocking with it.

Craving Thai food and enjoy some spice? Consider heading to Sabai Sabai Thai to satisfy your craving. When you ask for Thai spicy, they really give you Thai spicy! I enjoyed the chicken dumpling soup (packed with flavor and came with a decent amount of dumplings stuffed with chicken, drunken noodles with beef (Thai spicy- definitely packed a good amount of heat, but was bearable), and Thai iced tea. Order at the counter, but your meal is brought to the table when ready. Plenty of street parking or parking in the lot behind the set of shops. Friendly service.

The restaurant has remodeled since they closed their dining area during COVID. It's very modern inside with plenty of tables for seating. We came during lunch on a weekday and it wasn't crowded. I ordered the Drunken Noodles. It was so so. Not the best Drunken Noodles I've had before. It was a bit on the drier side - not enough sauce to coat the noodles. My brother ordered the Crispy Duck with Basil and that dish was actually very delicious and came out with plenty of meat! I highly recommend this dish for anyone who likes duck. My mom ordered the Floating Market Noodle Soup and it was also filled with lots of meat. It reminded us of the Vietnamese beef noodle soup.

Was looking for a different Thai restaurant to try so came here, after read the almost 5 star reviews. I did read some of the reviews mentioned the dishes were no flavor & was hoping that's not an frequent occurrence, unfortunately it happened to us Interior atmosphere : plain, clean, nothing fancy. Price: $ Location: convenient, off street parking Alcohol service: they don't have the liquor license anymore, only have some can cocktails. Service: very good , friendly and efficient Food: corn cakes blend, not much taste if you don't dip in the cucumber sweet and sour sauce , the mixing batter tasted too much starch; chicken skewers were ok, has to eat with the peanut sauce otherwise the chicken only has curry powder flavor; chives dumplings, don't order it, not much chives stuffed and the skin was thick and heavy ; drunken noodles with shrimp was good, tasty; floating market beef noodles flavor was ok, beef slices were chunky like beef stew & very difficult to eat, beef ball weren't even sliced in half never had a rice noodle served with such huge pieces of beef. Definitely recommend the owner to update kitchen staff and find a finer chef.

Ask the Community - Sabai Sabai Simply Thai

When will you have in door dining. November has come and gone?

Hi George, thank you for your interest! We ran into a setback for renovations due to our November hood equipment malfunction. We were required to close all during that time which ended up being two weeks - this meant any painting and redecorating…

Are you guys open for indoor dining now?

Hi Ashley, thank you for inquiring! We're still wrapping up some minor renovations and hope to be open by the end of the month if all goes as planned. Please check our website for updates: www.sabaisimplythai.com

When do you plan to open the dining room?

Hi George, thanks for getting in touch! We are planning to open our dining room back up in November, after a few minor touch ups and renovations :-)

On our last visit, a few Sunday nights ago, we popped in at dinner time on impulse and were seated immediately, though it's not a big space and it gets a lot of traffic. We walked through the little bar to the interesting and well-appointed dining room. I ordered a Singha beer and my wife got her standard Thai iced tea, very well made here. We split an appetizer of delicious crispy firecracker shrimp. She got her favorite, Pad Thai with shrimp, and I got mine, creamy green curry with chicken (I chose a 3 out of 4 on spiciness, which was close to my limit!). Both were terrific, As always, the service was efficient and polite. We haven't tried this place for carryout yet, because I think we just like sitting there so much. If you like the unique flavors of Thai food served cheerfully in a pleasant atmosphere, I think you'll like Thai Meric.

Service was fast and friendly - we were surprised by how quickly our meals arrived. The food was seriously flavorful and plentifully portioned. I was able to request the curry without fish sauce, which isn't an option everywhere. The cry baby noodles were similar to drunken noodles. Sauce has sweet and savory combination. Finally for dessert, we had an assortment which were all delectable.
