I need to eat gluten free and the waitress was very knowledgeable about it. She answered all my questions and I felt reassured my food would be prepared with caution that is needed with a gluten allergy. I had a side salad and spaghetti with meat sauce. First time visitors and we had a table outside. The town is small, so even though traffic went by it was not overwhelming with noise. But of course, this was a Sunday night at 5 o'clock The drinks were really good and we started our meal with a sangria and a Moscato. The sangria was appropriately sweet as was the Moscato. The pre-meal bread with oil and Parmesan was fine, but nothing spectacular. The chicken tomato soup was very typical of a supper club as was the salad. Not much to talk about there. But the meal themselves were wonderful. The mostaccioli with meat sauce was abundant and really delicious. The Alfredo with blackened chicken was delicious but on the higher seasoning side and rather spicy. I think we'll go with the regular chicken next time. Service was very nice. Both the server Madeline and the busser Asher did a great job. I think we will come back. Delafield is a nice town and we enjoy honoring the small businesses here. read more

Went last night for our 20 year anniversary and I had the linguine with one pound of real clams and it was delicious. My wife and mother in law both had lobster ravioli with Rosa sauce. They could have split the order because each one received 9 raviolis, unfortunately they didn't like the Rosa sauce but they don't like any red sauce in general but I thought that it was good. The chicken soup was delicious with tiny pasta that looked like tapioca, can't remember the name, sorry. Then I had a cannoli and you get 2 per order, while my wife and mother in law shared a tiramisu, both were excellent. We recently celebrated my wife's birthday there and everyone from Angelina to the waitstaff did everything to make it special. We started with two appetizers, the calamari and the steamed mussels and both were excellent, in fact the calamari was some of the best we have ever had. We each had the eggplant, mine with meat sauce and hers with the house sauce. I am a big eater and even I couldn't finish the 4 patties of eggplant so they kindly boxed up 2 of the patties each to take home. Their Italian dressing for salad is also really good. I love any Italian place that gives you oil and bread. We had a large party of 8 and they accommodated us well. We did have a reservation. In our group we had the fettuccini Alfredo, chicken Marsala, and spaghetti with meatball. It was fantastic. The meatballs were huge! Very tender and fall apart. I had been looking for a restaurant that would host a party of 20 and most restaurants were not very accommodating even with advance notice. Most were not very responsive either. I called Angelina's and they took our reservation on a Saturday at 6:00 without hesitation. The day of our reservation our party had increased and without hesitation, they accepted. The dinner was a special dinner for a good friend and they made our dinner very nice. They were prompt and professional. Nobody in our party needed to wait for a drink, the food was timely even with such a large group. The most important part was that everyone enjoyed their meals. I personally had the fettuccine Alfredo and thought it was delicious. Other entrees our table ordered included the lasagna, filet, gnocchi and all of which got great reviews. The eggplant parmesan was massive! In fact, all of our entrees were very generous. I have to give my biggest props to Emma our server. She was on point in every way, very nice, patient and attentive. In a nutshell: huge portions, a complete Italian menu, competent service. I visited Angelina's on a Tuesday night as part of a group of three. We each had an entree - spaghetti with meat sauce and sausage, chicken parm and chicken marsala. We also had the toasted ravioli appetizer. We all left full and have enough for 4-5 additional meals later! On the whole the food is solid but unspectacular. The meat sauce on the spaghetti was a bit bland and the marsala sauce was on the sweet side. Our server was attentive and the foil trays for the leftovers were nice, especially since they were packed for us in the kitchen. The large portions extended to the bar. I ordered a negroni as a pre dinner cocktail. However it lasted through dinner as it was served in a pint glass! For a meal that keeps on giving Angelina's is a good choice and the leftovers help make it a value. read more

You cannot go wrong with a visit to Angelina's. We had a larger group for a birthday celebration on a busy Saturday and everything from the food, the service, and the atmosphere was perfect. A number of people in our group had one of the specials that evening, lobster ravioli, and all of them raved at how delicious it was. A few others had spaghetti with meatball. Yes, singular. One large meatball with the pasta. I was able to have a taste and it was well seasoned, the texture was perfect, and complemented the pasta and sauce well. I ordered the baked mostaccioli which was divine. The pasta was prepared a perfect al dente, their tangy red sauce paired perfectly with the salty mozzarella baked on top. Everything about the dish was perfect. How many times can I stress it was perfect? Our server, Sarah, was the best! She was able to list off the specials perfectly from memory, knew all the items on the menu so could answer any questions we had, and she was regularly checking in to see if there was anything else she could do for us during our visit. Separate from the overall rating here, Sarah gets five stars as well. The dining room was perfect. Even with our large group it didn't feel cramped. It felt like we were at home. Small enough to be cozy, large enough that we were not on top of other tables. Plus, the decoration made it feel like a quintessential family Italian restaurant.
