    Southwest Steak Salad
    Alexandra H.

Came here for lunch with my mom on Saturday. It's located on Main Street in downtown Antioch and is close to a few shops. I had the Southwest Steak Salad, which was good. Good size portion and had a good amount of avocado. Came with corn, tomatoes, croutons, spring greens, and cotija. The steak was seasoned nicely. The cilantro-lime dressing worked well with all the salad components and wasn't too spicy. My mom had the Alice's Tea party, which was a steak blend burger, mushrooms, havarti cheese, truffle aioli, lettuce, and tomato. All on a brioche bun. The burger looked good and was a good size portion. It came with shoestring fries, which was seasoned nicely and were crispy. She gave me a few and they were tasty.

    Chili-Coffee Crusted Pork

My wife and I came here for dinner on Sunday during our short visit to Antioch. What a great find! The restaurant opened in May 2024 and the decor and general ambiance was clean and modern without being pretentious. Our server, Darren, was really excellent. Very knowledgeable about the menu. As the restaurant is a steakhouse I had intended to have a steak but, thanks to Darren's suggestion, I decided to go with the Chilean Sea Bass. So glad I did, it was absolutely delicious. My wife was also feeling adventurous and had the Chili-Coffee Crusted Pork which turned out to be another great choice. We finished off the meal with Creme Brulée which came with a couple of yummy raisin cookies. Overall, I'd highly recommend this restaurant and would certainly revisit next time we're in the area.

Alice's Tea Party Burger and a House Salad. Very tasty and very affordable.

We opted for the corn hummus and brussel sprouts and apple salad. Both were delicious! Next was the chicken kefta which was served with a small side of rice and tzatziki. Yum! Only a minor wait to get a table which was a plus since we were just in the area. Wheelchair accessible access in the front is perfect considering a good amount of geriatric population live in this area. Interior is very cute with the rattan wicker lights lining the ceiling. A modern Mediterranean feel with a classy bar just past the entrance. Staff were initially very attentive, but as time went on it did seem to disappear. I believe they were short staffed and currently training a new server which is alright on its own, but getting our food took about 30 minutes. Since we ordered they had time to fill another table besides us, given time for them to look at the menu, explain a minor issue about not having rice without dill available, so they would need to make a new batch, and they confirmed that it isn't a problem to the table being served their food at the same time as us. So they had a substantially less time and they were even able to get their check to leave before we got ours. Food wasn't brought by the servers who took our orders so I'm not sure what happened. Maybe they cook the food in batches or something. Despite the the service the food was good. The portion size for the lunch special is appropriate for the price and probably the best deal. The in-house made pita is exceptional but I feel as if they don't give you enough when you order the roasted eggplant (baba ghanoush). By the time we finished the pita we still had about half the order remaining. I would have loved to ask for more bread but no one came by and our server, I think, was in the back because we didn't see her for some time. I didn't see a patio so dogs are probably not going to be able to enjoy. They are part of Lettuce Entertain You so if you're a member you can get points. Reservations can be made online. So with items being on the expensive side and service slow I probably won't be going back unless I'm in the area during lunchtime. I won't be rushing to get back anytime soon, though.

Le P'tit was the first to pop up on my feed and immediately caught my attention due to its unique menu, historic building, and secluded outdoor oasis for the fair weather seasons. When asked where I wanted to have dinner on my birthday, the answer was easy, L'ptit! We were greeted by the Chef Chopra outside, who welcomed us and asked us to choose the seat that suited us best in or outdoors. We chose a seat outside as it seemed most guests were enjoying the nice weather in the garden. Chef Chopra introduced himself and explained the complimentary montadito, and presented the current specials. We loved that he took time to ask what brought us in, and when we said that we were building a new home in Bartlett only minutes away, he shared that although he has been all over the world he always misses good old Bartlett, IL. This is the kind of connection and service you won't find at franchise restaurants! We enjoyed cocktails, myself a dirty tini with bleu cheese stuffed olives, and my husband the traditional old fashioned and the P'tit old fashioned - both of which he enjoyed. We ordered the hummus for an appetizer - my husband never orders humus. Not a drop was left. It was so flavorful, and since I am intolerant to gluten we loved that it was served with cucumber "chips". We will definitely order this again! Our entrees were both specials - mine the steak and shrimp tower and my husband's the Birria. We could t decide whose was better. The shrimp and steak were so flavorful and beautifully cooked, and the beef and consommé of my husband's was out of this world. My takeaways from Le P'tit: We will be there - regularly, before we move into our home, and after! Have a cocktail, they are fabulous. Talk to Chef Chopra any chance you get. He has seen the world and loves to see his guests enjoying his menu and the atmosphere of his establishment. This is what supporting local is about! Enjoy your time at Le P'tit. Savor. Take a moment to slow down, disconnect from the outside and connect with the ones around you and enjoy the wonderfully and thoughtfully prepared dishes on the menu. We can't wait to be back!

I ordered the seafood paella and my husband ordered the chicken Indian paella and both were outstanding! The service was also exceptional, and our waitress, Mimi was very friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back, and likely often.!

I ordered the Tinto de Verano, and it was really good. It was a bit strong and reminded me of a sangria. For tapas, we got the #21 shrimp dish, which was packed with flavor. The combination of sauces and spices paired perfectly with the shrimp. We also ordered the #35 calamari, which was equally delicious. The calamari was light and airy, and the accompanying sauces added even more flavor. We also shared the patatas bravas, which were crispy and had a nice little kick to them. Overall, the food was excellent, the service was attentive, and the atmosphere was really enjoyable. I'd definitely come back to try more dishes!

So we came here on a random Friday night to test our luck to get a table at 7 o'clock for two people. We got lucky and got to sit inside because that's where we wanted to sit although they do have sidewalk or outdoor seating as well. I thought sitting inside would be cooler, but I was wrong as all the doors and windows were open and I don't believe the AC was on at all. Well, the menu is pretty extensive. I will say that a vegetarian could definitely eat here as well as anyone else. This is our first visit here and as you can tell from the photos ordered quite a bit of food. And typical top of style the portions are pretty small, but they are meant to be shared. It was actually too much food for two people who were already hungry. Some of the standouts were definitely the meatballs and the salad salads. The jamon iberico was absolutely incredible. Not pictured was the picture of sangria we ordered. We got the rosé and to be quite honest with all of the heat. It actually watered down way too quickly. And it also came in a plastic picture, which was a bit of a turn off. The shrimp with garlic was good, but the garlic was hard to taste because it was also covered or doused in a lot of tomato base or tomato sauce. I was really looking forward to a very clear buttery or olive oil sauce that was saturated with garlic. The mushrooms were OK as well, but again too much tomato in this dish that I'm not used to. The potatoes were also very tasty and well seasoned, and the sauce on it was just right. I think this is a good option for people who want top us in the suburbs however, I will say that I hope they do some tweaking to the recipes as well so that they have something that truly makes them stand out and unique.

She was amazing... super friendly, talkative in the best way, funny, and incredibly attentive. I ordered an iced caramel latte and I haven't stopped thinking about it since. It was seriously one of the best lattes I've ever had--not too sweet, rich, and so well balanced. I made that thing last because I didn't want it to end!
