    Smoked Old Fashioned

Big City Quality, Small Town Charm We were blown away by our experience at 15 Lakes. It offers a Michelin-level food quality experience right here in Antioch. To start, the Smoked Bourbon Old Fashioneds are outstanding--perfectly balanced and some of the best we've had. While the steaks are delicious, the rest of the menu is equally impressive; the meatloaf, salmon, and pork chops were all standouts. The wait staff is incredibly attentive without being overbearing. For High-end dining with a welcoming, local feel give 15 Lakes Steakhouse a try!

    Southwest Steak Salad

Came here for lunch with my mom on Saturday. It's located on Main Street in downtown Antioch and is close to a few shops. I had the Southwest Steak Salad, which was good. Good size portion and had a good amount of avocado. Came with corn, tomatoes, croutons, spring greens, and cotija. The steak was seasoned nicely. The cilantro-lime dressing worked well with all the salad components and wasn't too spicy. My mom had the Alice's Tea party, which was a steak blend burger, mushrooms, havarti cheese, truffle aioli, lettuce, and tomato. All on a brioche bun. The burger looked good and was a good size portion. It came with shoestring fries, which was seasoned nicely and were crispy. She gave me a few and they were tasty.

    Chili-Coffee Crusted Pork

My wife and I came here for dinner on Sunday during our short visit to Antioch. What a great find! The restaurant opened in May 2024 and the decor and general ambiance was clean and modern without being pretentious. Our server, Darren, was really excellent. Very knowledgeable about the menu. As the restaurant is a steakhouse I had intended to have a steak but, thanks to Darren's suggestion, I decided to go with the Chilean Sea Bass. So glad I did, it was absolutely delicious. My wife was also feeling adventurous and had the Chili-Coffee Crusted Pork which turned out to be another great choice. We finished off the meal with Creme Brulée which came with a couple of yummy raisin cookies. Overall, I'd highly recommend this restaurant and would certainly revisit next time we're in the area.

Alice's Tea Party Burger and a House Salad. Very tasty and very affordable.

Loved loved loved this restaurant!…read more The cheese curds were absolutely delicious, as well as the station bacon. The Caesar salad was massive but could've used a better dressing. Our waitress was phenomenal and I absolutely loved the decor!

Ordered carryout from Station 51 in Antioch (Hackney's loaf/large thin onion rings and half order…read morechicken nachos) and the whole experience was frustrating. First, the pickup situation was ridiculous. I walked in, no one at the counter, no staff in sight--just two customers sitting at the bar eating. It's a typical local bar vibe. My order was just sitting there in a bag on the counter with zero name, ticket, or anything to identify it. I had to open the bag to even check if it was mine. No one came out the whole time I was there. Felt sketchy and unprofessional--like they just tossed it out and disappeared. I grabbed it and left without ever seeing an employee. As for the food: the Hackney's loaf (their big pile of thin onion rings) came without the ranch or maple chipotle BBQ sauces that are supposed to be included. I've been to Hackney's and it doesn't come close to the original. On top of that, the onions tasted sour and off--like they weren't fresh or the fryer oil was old. Greasy, sour, and barely edible. I threw it away. The half order chicken nachos were mediocre at best. Very little chicken, chips were good, but they absolutely drowned everything in BBQ sauce. Way too much--it overpowered everything. Just a sloppy, one-dimensional mess. I ate dinner off the chips and threw the rest of that away too. Between the abandoned pickup, missing sauces, sour-tasting onion rings, and over-sauced nachos, this was a total letdown, $32 wasted. For the prices they charge, there's no excuse for such poor execution and zero customer service at pickup. I won't be back to Station 51--there are way better options. Avoid if you value fresh food and competent service.

First time here - love the fish!…read more We were staying in the area for a few days with family and we wanted to go out for a Friday Night Fish Fry. Our cousin knew of the Blue Goose and assumed they had fish. He was right. As we walked in (around 4:30 pm on the 4th of July), it was loud. This was due to a large group standing about, about to leave. Once they were gone and we were seated at a low 4-top table in a corner by the arcade games, the noise level was great. A server was by within a few minutes of us sitting down. We' looked over the menu already, so we placed our drink and dinner order with her. She was very pleasant. We ordered: - Fried Cod with Fries and Coleslaw - Fried Walleye with Fries and Coleslaw - Fried Catfish Tacos with Potato Pancakes and Apple Sauce - We had beers too: Summer Shandy x 2 and Spotted Cow The beer was cold and refreshing. The food came maybe 10 minutes later. I had the 2-pc Fried Walleye and it was fabulous! Two large filets, lightly breaded and fried to perfection. And so tasty. Our cousin had the Cod and enjoyed it as well. My wife had the Fried Walleye Tacos and enjoyed them too. As this was her first time here, she didn't know the tacos would come completely dressed with the coleslaw on the tacos already or she would have ordered the coleslaw on the side. Her potato pancakes were very good. And while the rustic, hand-cut fries were good, I liked the potato pancakes more and will get them next time. My wife and I each took half our meals home and will enjoy them for lunch tomorrow. We had a few questions about the area and asked random staff who passed by and they always knew the answers. Can't say enough for how friendly the team here was today. We can recommend the Blue Goose for drinks and food - especially the Fried Walleye! I hope we make it back here on our next visit to the area.
