Super quick and the veggie pizza is awesome. This place is a hidden gem. They also have a good buy one, get one deal.

I called and ordered a chicken Parmesan sub. My expectation was for slices of breaded chicken cutlets (perhaps deep-fried or oven baked) with cheese on a toasted grinder roll. I was asked if I wanted cheese peppers and onions and sauce. I thought it was odd about the option of peppers and onions, but of course I wanted sauce and cheese. When I opened the sandwich, there was no breading on the chicken. It was just chicken, sauce and cheese. The bread was soggy and the chicken was slipping out of the roll. And the cheese was waxy. When i called to inquire if I received someone else's order, I was told that that was how their chicken Parmesan comes. I'm just absolutely confused because nowhere have I ever heard chicken Parmesan is without breading. I was also told that if I wanted a chicken parm there "would be an up-charge". At that point I was even more confused because I had never been given that as an option nor it listed in the menu. There was also no offer by the staff rectify the situation. Needless to say, the grinder went uneaten. Tonights experience ($15 soggy slippery grinder) coupled with my husband's opinion of a very unsatisfying pizza (the last time we ordered from Paisano's) is enough yo seek out other places. A very classic American Italian restaurant. The staff is very welcoming. Most of the food is made to order and you can taste it. The consistency of the sauce and texture of the pasta were amazing. I have eaten here so many times, I cannot believe I have not written a review yet! This is actually a favorite of my boyfriend's kids, and it has become a family favorite of mine. They always have great table service and are super efficient even when they are at full capacity. Not that this a great time to discuss this, but they have an amazing side room if you have a family event. Although grim, this seems to be the place of choice for post-funeral gatherings. It is pretty much agreed by everyone in the house that they have a fantastic sauce. They have gluten-free pizza, and great options for kids meals. We ordered here for Yelp! Big Night Out, And everyone in the family got something good to eat. By chance, it was buy one large pizza get one large pizza with one topping free. Unfortunately, we did not need another pizza and they gave us the breadsticks at no charge. Thank you thank you. Treated another couple last Sunday afternoon - I chose this place bc I remember it being very good ten years ago. Firstly the waitress took our order, brought out the soups and salads, less than 5 minutes into it- I wasn't even half way through the soup and out comes our meals-- I guess no one taught her about spacing out the meal. By the time I took my first bite my entire meal was cold. It pisses me off the way she tried to push us through bc the restaurant was not at all busy. When you spend $150+tip you usually like a relaxed meal, visiting with company. The food was just mediocre, I remember it to be better. We normally love Paisanos but had a horrible experience tonight, treated like garbage, and will never go again. Ordered 2 pizzas and salad for delivery at 6pm. By 730pm nothing so we called to see what was up, knowing it's a Friday and being patient. We were told they would be here shortly. 8pm still nothing so we called again and was told it was delivered to a "woman in a yellow shirt smoking a cigarette" which does not describe anyone here. We told them as such and we're basically told we were liars. We went in person to address the situation and ensure we get refunded to be told again it was delivered and not their fault. We were given our money back but no offers to remake or rectify the fact that it's 2+ hours later and we still haven't eaten. No recognition that they made a mistake. The customer service was horrid and a joke. We frequently order/patronize Paisanos and were made to feel like we are liars and trying to scheme them out of something, which is the farthest from the truth. So terribly disappointed. read more

Pizza at this place is excellent, they brown the cheese to perfection, something a lot of pizza joints fail to do, they also give a free large cheese pizza if you buy any other large, only catch is you have to order to go, that deal doesn't apply if you eat there, which makes no sense at all, because you actually will spend more if you eat inside, drinks etc. read more

I am a long-time customer of Paisano's, having eaten at this restaurant off and on for over 20 years. Recently, my wife, daughter, and I visited Paisano's for a sit-down lunch. I ordered the roast beef grinder and a side of fries, despite a hefty upcharge of $1.50 for adding American cheese to the sandwich. When my meal arrived, I told my wife that I was surprised by how few fries were on my plate. At the same time, I overheard another customer speaking to the owner, who was standing several tables away behind the cash register. She was complaining to the owner about how few fries came with her takeout order. As I turned around to look at the customer and owner, the owner stared at me and blurted out loud, "Do you have a problem?" So I said, "Yes! I have the same problem as this customer. There are hardly any fries on my plate." The owner proceeded to walk over to my table and entered into a heated discussion with me as my wife and daughter looked on dumbfounded. In an elevated voice with the entire restaurant overhearing, he proceeded to educate me on how higher food prices forced him to shrink meal portions. I told him that as a customer, this is no concern of mine and that he should raise prices if necessary. I then asked him, "Do you really think that after speaking to me in this manner that I will ever return to Paisano's?" I usually like going here but whomever worked takeout on Sept 10 2021 was awful. I ordered a simple wedge salad with chicken and a lobster ravioli dinner. I picked up the order and came home to eat with my wife. The salad had no chicken. I called to let them know and the person on the phone told me in a completely fake apologetic tone "oh no, can you come back and get a chicken? Or should I credit you $2.95 for the chicken?" Such a fun local joint. The staff is hilarious, warm, friendly and helpful. They work hard so treat them right! Their pizza is just 'eh.' They use what tastes like spaghetti sauce instead of pizza sauce. The crust is pretty barf, too. And they put way too much cheese on my cheese pizza! But it was served nice and hot. My go-to is the greek salad which is SO GOOD! the dressing is unparalleled and the salad serving is huge! Only bad part is that it's iceberg lettuce. We each ordered a cocktail and the price was outlandish!! The food was dry and overcooked with little to no flavor. We ordered stuffed mushrooms for an appetizer and they were slightly cold on the inside. My seafood combo platter was awful. We had fried mozzarella sticks that tasted like they came from a box. My wife ordered the chicken marsala and we had to return it. The sauce tasted like flour and butter, it was slimy thick. The mash were definitely from a box. She ordered a burger instead and it tasted old and frozen. I ordered the chicken parm from the house specialties, it was not much better. The sauce was watered down and bland, the chicken was rubbery, and they covered it with a pound of mozzerella. I am not fond of chain restaurants, but I have had better meals at OG. Ok first of all, WHY are there 3 different places to check in for the SAME RESTAURANT?? Dammit Yelp, get it together! I went here last night for my birthday dinner. Our server suggested the spicy calamari and as far as I understood, the only difference was that it came with jalapenos. But still I wanted to try it. We put in our dinner orders at the same time and both came with either a soup or salad. I ordered salad, he ordered soup. Here's where I got a little annoyed. Our calamari came out at exactly the same time as our soup and salad. I would have appreciated maybe 10 minutes in between to enjoy the salad then the app. I ordered the house greek balsamic dressing and it was excellent. Feta is a welcome addition to anything I'm about to eat. Calamari was good. Not too greasy, lots of garlic (yay!) and the jalapenos, while unconventional, were a nice addition. Again we hadn't even finished our appetizer when our entrees were brought out by the food runner who didn't even offer a smile, hello, drop dead, NOTHING. Just put the plates down and walked away. Slightly rude but he was young. He will learn I hope. I ordered the chicken vodka rigatoni and the boy had chicken neptuno. His was good, creamy like an alfredo. Mine was good but significantly lacking in the vodka sauce realm. I'm a vodka sauce aficionado. I've had some of the best penne vodka in Jersey and had high hopes for here. Unfortunately, I found a more tomato based sauce than cream. No prosciutto and no peas. I liked the sauce. It was sweet with a nice flavor but it wasn't vodka in my opinion. Absolutely the nastiest order of boneless wings ever. Burned to a char, allllll day old if not older and served fresh out of the microwave within 4 minutes. Couldn't cut any of them with a knife they were so dry and chewy like bad jerkey they pulled apart like week old pork butt. We have been coming here for years. I thought in the past that I had put a review up for this place. In the past, the review would have been very positive. Tonight however, we are disappointed. The past 3 or so times we have ordered delivery the food has gotten worse and worse. The first time we noticed a difference, there was little vegetables and cheese on my pizza and the crust was very skimpy. The next time the fries were cold, half cooked, and beyond greasy. We had to put them in the toaster oven for them to be edible which shouldn't be the case as this isnt a TV dinner factory. Tonight, I ordered fettuccine alfredo with light sauce. But light sauce does not mean zero cheese and literally all grease and butter. I swear there is no cheese in this "alfredo" sauce tonight. It is so bland and dripping in its oil. I am a vegetarian and the fettuccine alfredo meal on the menu says it comes with broccoli and chicken. Usually we just say no Chicken. But there was no broccoli. Although my mom said that it comes without anything and you have to add. But from what I remember it is different unless they changed their menu. But either way, we ordered grinders and fries as well. The fries were just as bad as last time and this time I didnt try any because they looked the same and were described the same. They made my stomach hurt last time due to the amount of grease soaked up. I didnt even finish my pasta because of how much grease. I've only been there once so my only judge of their food is the one Italian sub I had and the interaction I had with their staff. The Italian sub is, in my estimation, the litmus test of an Italian restaurant: screw it up and I'm done. They didn't. I came in looking for something delicious and that's exactly what I left with. I was so impressed with my sub, I felt the need to take a picture of it. Just the right amount of meat and veggies, toasted to perfection. And you want to go to Subway?
