    Chicken Karahi Curry
    Imran S.

I had heard about Pakwan House through the radio so decided to check it out. we were there on a Friday evening but there was no one in the restaurant, which was an odd sign. we sat down and ordered beef samosas, chicken karahi, bihari beef and a variety of naan. the naan were excellent and delicious, the karahi was also good with good salan flavor, and the samosa was decent and tasted homemade. the bihari beef was the only disappointing aspect the customer service was good because when we said that the bihari beef wasn't good they offered complimentary dessert - a nice gesture the place was nicely decorated and decent food

Me and my BFF came here for dinner. We both were craving curry and grill, and she suggested Pakwan House. My family had recently hosted an event at their banquet hall and we liked the food that was catered. While the exterior may not be too appealing, and the interior ambiance was plain and simple, the restaurant itself was clean. We were greeted by person, who was the cashier, host and server at the same time. Later on, I did notice the owner come in as the restaurant had gotten busy. I believe he used to be a partial owner of Shahnai restaurant. My friend wanted samosas as appetizers, so we ordered a few of them. We also ordered daal (lentils), and a mixed grilled platter, which consisted of Chicken Tikka, Chicken boti, Seekh Kabobs with sautéed onions. Regardless of diet, one must order Naan with these items. Our samosas were hot n crispy. Daal was creamy and rich with flavor and the grilled items were very good. Naan came hot off the oven and was a perfect compliment to the meal. They had plenty of other grilled items and traditional dishes which are available on the menu. From what I hear, they also serve a buffet, which might be for lunch only. Inquire within. I do plan on visiting again soon.

I am obsessed with the malai chicken and beef bihari roll here. They put their heart and soul in everything they cook. I have tried quite a lot from their menu and keep coming back for more.

We had breakfast here. Per managment they recently took over the resturant. They were nice and friendly. We were there early and they accomadate us and got our order quickly. Halwa Puri is probably the best I had so far in Houston. Puri was soft, not too greasy and very authentic. Qeema partha tasted great fresh and home made feeling. Chai/tea was served in chainaak and pyalas. ( see pics) Great touch managment. If they maintain their food quality and standard they will be a hit breakfast spot.

Found this place very childish and amateur at customer service. I placed an order through Grub Hub using first-time order promotion and while their system even accepted my order, some guy called a few minutes later telling me that they will only process the order if I add more items and increase the minimum price. Now, I get it if a restaurant sets these conditions for business purposes but come on now, it's a complete no-no to go back on the acceptance of an order that your system already processed. Why fight over a few dollars when you can lose customer loyalty in the process? And we all know Pakwan House can use some customer loyalty because the food here is plain average, to be generous. Stay away fellas!

My food was delicious, the owner or person working there was extremely nice, and it's well priced. I loved this location overall and would definitely recommend.

A delicious serving of chicken biryani is perfect for my cheat day on my low carb eating plan.

Visited Aga's with my family on the 4th of July. had called earlier for a table reservation…read morereservations require a minimum of 10 people, so we decided to just walk in. Oh my gosh... the place was absolutely packed! There were people waiting outside. We scanned the QR code, entered our details n waited for about 30 minutes before getting a table. The interior isn't super fancy or highend but once you see the crowd inside, you immediately understand why this place is so popular. It was buzzing with people, and every table was full. We ordered Chicken Lollipop, Chicken Bihari Kababs, Kali Mirch Chicken Curry, naan, rice and lassi. Everything was fresh, flavorful & absolutely delicious. The Chicken Bihari Kababs n Kali Mirch Chicken Curry were the stars of the meal. Despite the huge crowd the service was quick, organized, and very professional. That's something really appreciated. I've honestly never seen this kind of rush at any restaurant in the Dallas area. The food definitely lives up to the hype and now understand why people are willing to wait just to get in. Later found out their chops are one of the signature dishes, so that's definitely on my list for the next visit. Overall, great food, great service and a great family dining experience. just hope they open a branch in Dallas someday it would be a huge hit!

Ok and now the burger story, and so many other good things to eat here for the palate. Although the inspiration for the Pac-Man character was the image of a pizza with a slice removed I would say the Pak-Man burger was the perfect Puck-(in a burger)-Man. The Pak sauce is for real and just the right taste to go with the seasoning. The brioche buns held tight together even with the dripping sauce and flavors coming out of this fantastic meal. I love Samosas too and the truck says it all. Next time I'll get some of the Nutella samosa and or kulfi ice cream if they have it. Glad I stopped in to try this truck out and the staff was supper friendly and efficient.

We had the family garlic naan I forgot which karahi but the chicken breast with a cream based sauce, mango lassi, chole (chickpeas), lahori fish. It took me this long to go because I kept looking at their prices and couldn't justify, but don't be like me and let it scare you away. The portions are definitely more than enough for 2. They are not stingy with their portion size. Looks like their weekday lunch prices are pretty decent so I'm going to have to go back for that for sure. Pretty much everything we had was great. I will say next time I want to try a more traditional tomato based Karahi. Family size Naan was $10 it's probably like 3 regular naan super fluffy not dense so it's easy to eat. Chole was perfect great flavor all around chickpeas were soft. Mango lassi was good but I think it was too heavy for me so I may pass on it next time and leave more room for food. Not sure what kind of fish they use for the lahori fish but the flavors were great, I feel like it should come with fries and I wish it was another type of fish but otherwise on point. The Karahi was chicken breast, really good flavor if you are introducing someone to Pakistani food,it's cream based so it's milder but still has great flavor. My bill was around $87 and I definitely had leftovers. I suggest not going alone if you are getting off the regular menu and not weekday lunch.
