We moved to the area and stopped inside the pastries are gorgeous and the woman behind the counter was so helpful, her name is Mitra. Thank you for the yummy pastries! I'd recommend them to make any event special or if you're craving something delicious for yourself!

    Baklava

Palace Bakery, an establishment with a two-decade history of crafting delectable pastries, cookies, breads, cakes, baklava, and other confections, unfortunately falls short in terms of transparency regarding its pricing structure. While the quality of certain offerings is undeniably exceptional, the overall value proposition is undermined by the enigmatic cost of individual items. Particular commendation is due to the baklava, a masterpiece of balance and texture. The phyllo, crisp and ethereal, is generously adorned with crushed pistachios, and the sweetness is restrained, a welcome departure from the often saccharine renditions. The Persian cookies, too, were a delightful surprise. Among the pastries, the pistachio variety stands out as a paragon of its kind. The pistachio cream filling is rich and indulgent, elevating it above its peers. The cheesecake, with its homemade character, is likewise commendable. While the remaining pastries were satisfactory, they did not achieve the same heights. The pricing, however, presents a significant challenge. Pastries and cake slices are a hefty $20 per pound for purchases exceeding six items, while cookies command $18 per pound. Baklava, a premium offering, is priced at $23 per pound. This pricing scheme is both unconventional and exorbitant. It is regrettable that patrons are compelled to inquire about the cost of individual items rather than finding this information readily displayed. In conclusion, while Palace Bakery undoubtedly possesses the culinary acumen to produce exceptional pastries, its pricing strategy detracts from the overall experience.

They have variety of desserts, I usually go for the prepacked cookies and they have other sweet cakes! Lots of choices to pick from, place is always kept clean and tidy, cashier is friendly too. I'd recommend if you're craving for some good sweets

    MOLD

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE -- MOLD IN FOOD & EXTREMELY AGGRESSIVE MANAGER!!! I had shopped here a month earlier and loved it -- great service, great tiramisu. So on October 24th, 2025, I came back to get pastries for my daughter's 4-month celebration. I bought a cake, a cookie, and a cannoli. While eating the cannoli in my car, I turned on the light and saw thick mold growing inside the cream. I was disgusted and panicked -- I had already eaten part of it. I immediately turned around to return the items. When I showed the cashier, she said only the manager could handle refunds, so I left the items and my info. When the manager called, I calmly explained what happened -- but before I could even finish, she cut me off, yelled at me, claimed it was "just pistachio," and threatened not to refund me. She was beyond rude, talked over me the entire time, and acted like I was the problem for finding mold in my food. That night, I got horribly sick -- cramps, nausea, couldn't eat without feeling worse. I've since contacted the health department because this is unacceptable. DISGUSTING food, DISGUSTING service. The manager's attitude was appalling. Do yourself a favor and go to a bakery that actually cares about their customers' safety and respect.

I think I have a new favorite bakery. Sweetest lady behind the counter and it was nice to learn about the history of the place. The pastries were so fresh and simply delicious Can't wait to go back and try the baklava too.

When you walk into this Persian/Iranian small bakery, you're delighted with all the bakery options. So many to choose from. However, the customer service is very lacking. She was very impatient when you're trying to make choices. She asked me why I was taking pictures. She looked irritated that I was, even though it's to review the bakery?? There was a group of my friends and I who bought an assortment of bakery items, cookies and baklava. When we went back to get some Turkish coffee, it was a little busy. While we waited, she pointed to the sign that says they have the right to refuse service. We couldn't believe she was actually telling us to leave. It was obvious that she gave preferential treatment to the regulars. We had already purchased many bakery items so we were shocked that she didn't want to serve us 15 min later. In my opinion, very bad business practice. When I got home and tried the bakery goodies with my family, they were okay but didn't wow me. Some didn't taste fresh and tasted stale. The cream puff wasn't too sweet but I've had better. The coffee cookie tasted too bitter. They looked better than they tasted. We won't be back...

We tried it for the first time and it was definitely worth checking out, despite the construction going on in the shopping center. The woman helping us was so kind, friendly and helpful. The mocha cake and the raspberry chocolate mousse cake were so fresh, moist and delicious. Wow! It was the perfect way to celebrate a special Birthday!

The quality of of Ponni's (the owner) product is always an incredibly high-quality, creative, great variety of full size party items, as well as single portion items, which makes eating dessert that much more fun. Instead of buying one big cake or pie, you can choose a dozen different things. But why I chose to write my review today is because of what happened yesterday, Thanksgiving. I wanted some additional desserts. Also, I wanted to have eggnog. None of my dessert selections had whipped cream on top of the desserts. Costco and Sprouts didn't have a whipped cream without various additives. I wanted real whipped cream. While I could make it at home, that means I have to do the research on finding the right cream to the shopping, as well as actually making the whipped cream and cleaning up the mess. That is a lot of time and work to have a little whipped cream with dessert for two people. I called Ponnie the owner and asked her if I could just buy a container of whipped cream. I know she makes it because she uses it in many of the dozens of desserts she already makes so all she would have to do is scoop some of it into a container that would fit the number of ounces I wanted. She said she'd be happy to do it for me. We even figured out a way on DoorDash to order something that was the same price as what she would charge to get around the limitations of the program, but in the end, it turned out that she has her own driver because she does catering for things like weddings and parties and so we agreed I'd pay a reasonable delivery fee and I would get fresh basically homemade whipped cream delivered to me Thursday morning on Thanksgiving. The whipped cream was truly divine. I could have not made it better or found one at any restaurant that I've ever been to that would have offered whipped cream better than hers. The flavor profile, the consistency, the density, and weight of the whipped cream was absolutely perfect, and it took all the desserts that we had to choose from as well as the eggnog from being wonderful to being absolutely incredible. Quite frankly, I would've been thrilled just to have some fresh fruit with my whipped cream as my dessert and now I know that if I would like to keep some fresh whipped cream in the house so that I can have my fresh fruit bowl in the morning with a little dollop of whipped cream without having to go through a production to do that, I can. I want to thank Ponni for being so kind, professional, patient on the phone to understand what I was looking for, willing to be attentive to my specific needs, even though it was not on her standard menu or even her menu of things you can order in advance, and, on what is most likely one of the three busiest days of her year. In my opinion, that is the epitome of exceptional customer service, which is a true rarity in today's world. When you call most businesses because you want to actually buy something, it is far more common to feel like you are an interruption to that person's day as opposed to the reason for it. Ponni clearly understands her job is the ladder even though technically I am interrupting her day because she has many many other tasks even beyond making all of these baked goods that she has to address to keep her business open. So keeping her composure the way she did, especially on that day speaks volumes and reinforces my loyalty. I have to supporting her business. She understands that every customer is important to her business not just because of what they can buy that moment, but because of their lifetime value, as well as all the value they can bring by writing reviews like this that many people will read before they make their decision on where to make their purchases as well as all the people that I will tell about her little store that you would never notice on your own unless you happen to be looking very hard while you were inside that shopping plaza and willing to take a chance to walk in there, when the majority of the time you're not looking for someone to make you some large baked good, which is what is implied by the name of her store the Palace Bakery. From the outside, you'd never know just how many single portion desserts she has to offer. When I walked in there for the first time and was quite frankly overwhelmed at all the choices she actually put about a half a dozen things into a bag for me in addition to the cookies I did buy and gave them to me on the house so that I could just try them. I doubt she even remembers this interaction, but I remember it vividly. That is how a business like hers survives something like Covid.I am genuinely grateful to Ponni for doing this for me. It's amazing that something so small could mean so much, but it did. 1 last thing. Ponni makes a special walnut cookie that is wheat free, just walnuts, egg whites, and a touch of brown sugar. So if you're looking for one small treat I totally recommend trying this cookie.

It was such a delicious twist on a breakfast item to have a hot pastrami sandwich with egg, cheese, hash brown, and extra Dijon. Being pregnant, this was perfect. I tried my husband's eggs Benedict and it was delicious, as well. The bun was so soft and fluffy and created a great base for the dish.
