My first online ordering went smoothly. I ordered two days prior. I originally wanted the bundt carrot cake but Alex told me that more time was needed to order this item. I used to be a loyal customer, Spent soooo much money here but recently there's some shady stuff going on.... First of all some of the desserts were extremely sweet, also some of the packaging like some pie slices and cookies I bought were not showing the ingredients or calories, no label at all. Then something that happened here left me not wanting to come back. They were asking all their customers to write a good review to get $25 per review I thought that was interesting but then I was like sure I'll do one and my HB too so when coming back here I didn't like how she was trying to go back and forth saying it was only $25 per household and then no only $25 for 4 reviews? Google and yelp? Again I've been a loyal customer and I know the owner here is changing things trying to be shady not sure. I know for sure is not the wonderful staff that's doing that shady stuff they're probably just following directions from the owners and for that reason I won't be coming back. After seeing their items for years in stores like Mother's Market, Erewhon, and Thrive Juice Lab, I recently started going directly to the source. Huge fan! I really appreciate the variety of goods they offer, from indulgent cake slices to a keto-friendly brownie, their use of alternative flours (e.g. almond), and no refined sugars. The vanilla and strawberry cake slices are probably my favorites, as well as the brownie. They're super friendly at the store and have kindly offered me commentary items around special occasions, such as my first visit or birthday. I love Giselle's peanut butter and caramel cups that I find on trips to Mothers Market or the Water Brewery. When I found out the actual kitchen is next to my massage spot, I knew I had to pop in! Upon entering, I noticed a case of cakes and a stand up cooler with all their goodies. I was promptly acknowledged by Alex. There were 3 other people in there picking up cakes (which only needs a 1-day advance notice if you want one!) Alex gave me a rundown of all their values and the fact that they only use the best ingredients (so important to me) and I got to making decisions. I decided on the keto brownie, coconut cheesecake and their limited time Valentine's donuts. Alex was very friendly and even gave me a saffron rice pudding for free! They also ship nationwide if you want to send anything to family or friends not local. The saffron rice pudding was delightful with almonds and cinnamon on top- perfect for breakfast or a snack. Their keto brownie was unreal and beyond fudgey AAAAND it's made out of organic peas! Wow, who knew peas could be so yummy? The Valentine's donuts were not too sweet-not my favorite flavors but cute! Bought two chocolate dot cakes, a vanilla dot cake, and the brownie recently from here. The chocolate and vanilla dot cakes were good, but I froze the second chocolate cake for later. Thought this would be fine as they did come frozen from the bakery. Went to eat this one the other day (a few days after buying) and it had an extremely off putting, almost rubbing alcohol-like taste. My boyfriend said he could even smell what seemed like rubbing alcohol. I have no idea what ingredient could've caused this, as there are no ingredients listed. I literally could not swallow the bite. Messaged the business about this and haven't received any response. The brownie was okay, but it definitely tastes like puréed green peas with some chocolate. Very odd texture and aftertaste. Sadly I will not be coming back here after the suspicious chocolate cake, especially for the price tag that comes with it read more

After my fiance proposed we went to a surprise engagement dinner he planned. One of his best friends wasn't able to make it, but had another family member pick up the Cosmic Love Chocolate Cake as a surprise dessert for us to enjoy. 1, the cake was gorgeous with the chocolate frosting, chocolate drizzle, an fresh berries. 2, it was quite yummy (I loved the frosting). 3) it was very rich & moist. 4) I'm vegan so that was why she selected Giselle's but it was so impressive that in addition to vegan it was a gluten free, refined sugar free, soy free, and corn free cake.
