Coffee was great, sweetness is just right for me. We ordered the Biscoff cookie coffee with oat milk and cold foam. It has bits of the biscoff cookie in the coffee. Service is quick and they have these small thingies that buzz off when your coffee is ready. It kinda ruins the vibes of the place (a little bit but no big deal) because it's so loud! Hahaha But overall the vibe of the place is cute, modern and clean and I love it.
September 28, 2026 -- 8:30 AM Tried Karak House Coffee for the first time this Monday morning instead of going to Starbucks because I wanted to give this place a shot. Unfortunately, the experience was not pleasant. The customer service felt very unwelcoming, and there wasn't much friendliness from the staff. Maybe I'm just used to the welcoming and friendly service I usually get at Starbucks, but first impressions matter, and this one definitely didn't leave a good impression. I ordered the iced latte with pumpkin cold foam. The coffee was just meh nothing that made me want to come back for another one. I don't usually leave one-star reviews, but I felt this experience deserved an honest review. Will I be going back? Absolutely not.
This is such a cute spot to grab a quick coffee or spend a morning with your friends at! There are so many options for drinks, pastries, and sweets! I ordered the cardamom latte with pumpkin cold foam and it was delicious. if you're looking for sweet this drink is pretty sweet but the coffee taste is still there. Our order was made pretty quickly but you can tell it was made with a lot of care and attention to detail.
Excellent vibe and great tea! We went as a big group, and they had plenty of comfortable seating outdoors. I tried their Moroccan tea and pistachio milk cake and loved both. The ambiance was calm and relaxing, with no loud music or anything. I also loved their crockery and the colors!
The house chai is so good! They offered a sample and I had to get it. Super friendly staff and plenty of seating inside and out. They mistakenly gave me the dirty chai latte so they corrected it for me. The Chai is premade with milk and sweetener already fyi!
I visited Karak on a Thursday mid-afternoon for a work excursion. There is a large lot with plenty of spots by the cafe so parking was no hassle. There weren't too many other customers present when we arrived. I ordered the mango mint refresher, but asked for the lemonade to be excluded from the drink. We had also shared a slice of their famous Basque cheesecake, which was very delicious. This wasn't my first visit at Karak, & it certainly won't be my last!
I stopped in for a quick beverage and was surprised by how disruptive the atmosphere became. A customer came in speaking on speakerphone at full volume and continued for about five minutes. The staff were clearly aware of it and even made direct eye contact with the person, but did nothing. Since no one on staff addressed it, I politely asked the customer to lower the volume or take the call normally. They ignored me and continued speaking on speakerphone until they left. While this was happening, one of the staff members was looking at her own phone. She was not on speakerphone, but was browsing or using an app while the disruption continued. After the first customer left, another person came in with a laptop and began conducting a video conference at full volume. Again, the staff said nothing. At that point, I left. Apparently, speakerphone calls and loud video conferences are considered acceptable here. The drink itself was fine, but the atmosphere and the staff's unwillingness to address disruptive behavior left a poor impression. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this place.
The 3 things I found positive about Karak House Coffee was free parking, pretty looking but grubby decor, and fragrant coffee that tasted bad. Oh wait. I guess the only positives I recall technically is the free parking part. The negatives? Slow, curt, and condescending customer service. No half caff or decaf option for coffee drinks. Or any other alternatives suggested if one wants anything to drink that's not caffeinated. Cake was soggy and gross. Overpriced for something that crappy all around. $20 for a drink and a slice of cake with a side of long wait and bad attitude. Definitely overhyped for what it is and I won't be returning.

I'm staying down the street from Karak House Coffee and I have really enjoyed coming here. The workers had awesome energy from the moment I walked in. The first time I came I a rose cardamom hot latte- it was excellent. Perfect amount of flavor. I love when you can actually taste the flavors of a syrup. Really great size of coffee for the price. The second time I came I got the pistachio latte. Wow! I think it was the best pistachio latte I've ever had. The first time I came to Karak to get some work done and it worked nicely. Calm, relaxing atmosphere. Spots to sit. I didn't notice any wall chargers- so that was a bit of an issue for sitting and working for long periods, but I made it work. Maybe there are some there and I just didn't find them. If you love unique flavors- this is a great spot to try!

I love their Burnt Basque Cheesecake it was so creamy and their coffees are always delicious. They are also opened later than most cafes which is a plus!!
I've been following this shop on IG for a while for the matcha, signature chai and unique lattes. So many cool drinks to choose from. We went with the Golden Saffron latte since I didn't want any espresso in it. It has turmeric, saffron, cardamom in it which I love. It is not on the posted menu but the barista recommended it. Glad he did cuz it's good!! Non-dairy options are oat, almond and pistachop milk. (Sadly they don't offer soy milk). Cool decor and late hours makes this place a must visit!
Really chill place to have a relaxing nightcap. Good coffee with some bites. They also have a couple of heaters outside. For their outside seats and a number inside also.... Service wise, they're pretty on point .... Free ice water on the side.... And was even able to ask for hot water. I got an Americano and it's pretty smooth. I like it. Like everywhere else it's pricey but yeah worth it. Ow and their toilet is out of order
This cafe is a fusion of South Asian and Arabian gulf cultural roots and flavors, hence their Karak Chai. The iced Karak tea with saffron cold foam is quite unique, not as strong as coffee but spicier than your usual black tea. This spot is quite busy, but it has wifi, several small tables and a few outlets. read more
Pros: large selection of drinks and baked goods, friendly staff, clean location Cons: the drinks were a tad underwhelming for me. The cheesecake was fine but that chocolate sauce/syrup just tasted like Hershey syrup or some random generic stuff. My drink was the iced spanish latte read more

I was in the area and needed a little caffeine pick me up, so I stopped by Karak House. The store itself is cozy and aesthetic with plenty of seats indoors. Service was also friendly and we got our drinks pretty quickly. They had a variety of different beverages and baked goods available. I ordered an iced latte and my husband ordered an Americano and we both really enjoyed our drinks. The coffee flavor in both were strong, which we appreciated. I'd say prices here are kind of on the steep end though. Overall, I'd recommend coming here! read more
Really clean and modern coffee shop. They have great options, I tried a date cardamom latte they had on offer for their ramadan menu and it was amazing!! Super super sweet though, which made me wish they offered a smaller size. I couldn't finish it. The price also ran a bit high but they were fast and the coffee was pretty great. read more

4/5 for the Karak Chai 5/5 for the lavender mint lemonade I love a great space where Arabs and Desis can gather and hang out. The fact that they're open until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays is a big plus. The tiramisu was just okay. It lacked flavor, and the wooden fork honestly overpowered the taste with that strong stick-like flavor. I didn't have much interaction with the staff, but no complaints on service. The dessert options seem pretty standard. Nothing stood out as unique since most Yemeni coffee shops offer the same things. Still, we had a really nice time. My husband and I brought our Lego set and a board game, and it ended up being such a cozy little date night. Would come back for the vibes and drinks. read more

I love their OG Karak chai. They only make it sweet but it's perfect. Their lattes have an amazing blend as well. The ambiance has a royal feel with all the emerald. The desserts are great as well but need to share it. Some of the best chai in OC read more

I wanted to try a new coffee shop and found this one. It's very cozy inside and was pretty busy. I went in around 10am and they were already sold out of their seasonal pumpkin cardamom latte (which I def want to go back and try). I ordered the iced biscoff latte and it was so good! At first I drank it with a straw and it wasn't sweet at all but then I started sipping from the cup and the foam on top is sweet so it's perfectly balanced with the coffee when you drink it that way. read more

This place is solid for drinks (Various lattes and teas) and enjoying a pastry! Their coffee here is really good, I also tried their Dubai chocolate bar ($18) and Dubai cookie ($10). I tried their signature karak chai and it was pretty decent, it has a strong smooth chai flavor, but comes unsweetened not the spices as is typical with other chai lattes at other cafes. I did take a star off due to the chai not being my cup of tea, I recommend their other drinks like the pistachio latte or cardamom latte! the Dubai cookie came really cold, once I was home I was able to heat it up and it was delicious! The knefeh and pistachio filling instead was soft chewy and delicious! Although the chocolate was really good, $18 is a little bit on the pricey side. read more

What a cute spot! Love the interior and all the little touches (branded sample cup, napkins, light sign, etc.) Loved the Signature Karak Chai. I ordered a medium but it was so good that I wish I had ordered a large of a share pot! My husband enjoyed his vanilla latte and chocolate croissant. I was craving something savory and didn't see the chicken panini so I had the spinach pastry. Was craving something heavier so I'll try again next time or will eat something savory before so that I can try out one of the sweet cake options or the Dubai chocolate cookie! I also love that this spot is open late (10pm-12am depending on the day) which is a nice alternative if you're not in the mood for a bar but still want to go out for a nice beverage or sweet treat. read more

Karak House is a coffee shop where you can relax and enjoy a cup of its signature coffees and teas. My husband and I were pleasantly impressed with the service. We shared the Karak Special set in a beautiful tray. It consisted of a pot of the signature Karak Chai and Ras Malai Milk Cake. We totally immersed ourselves in the full flavor of the chai and delicate milk cake. There's a wide selection of coffee and tea beverages in their menu to enjoy as well along with delicious milk cakes and delectable pastries. We will come back for more fun beverages and pastries again! read more
Small little cozy coffee in laguna hills, good place to stop by to hang out with friends or get some quick work done. It is pretty loud inside though. My buddy Ara recommended this spot. Very impressed by this place. Light and bright, modern interior. Pastries and drinks were fantastic. The chai was worth the hype and the biscotti cake was next level. They also carry the viral Dubai chocolate. $18 is steep but worth it. Milky chocolate on the outside and crispy pistachio flavor on the inside. The basque cheesecake was excellent as well. Ara don't miss! Will be back. read more
Good coffee! What I liked about this place is their unique selection of drinks. For example, I got the Gold Saffron Latte--the first thing I noticed was that it actually had gold in it, which I've never tried before! I ordered it iced, and while the flavor was a little unusual (there were some chunks in it--probably saffron?), the drink itself was super refreshing and I ended up really enjoying it. The service was good, and the place has a very modern vibe. read more
Today with family members we went to Karak Chai - a family owned coffee shop. The kayak chai. Drink was very delicious. There was a barista named Graan that was very helpful and made the experience so much better. I would defiantly recommend this very nice experience. read more

Wow I'm so impressed with this cafe. I'm a big fan of the honey lavender latte with almond milk. The latte was the perfect temperature, smoothness, body and taste. It's probably the best latte I've had recently. I also enjoyed their pastries- the spinach and cheese was my fave and the almond croissant was delicious too. Everything is beautifully displayed in what looks to appear like a classy, high end coffee shop. I'll definitely stop on again very soon. read more
We really enjoyed the our lattes. We were helped by a nice young man and were given recommendations as to what we were looking for. I really love the taste of cardamom and ordered the cardamom and latte and it Delivered! We also tried a slice of the basque burnt cheesecake. It comes with a chocolate sauce on the side. It was all right. It's was during the evening so it was more quiet and chill and could be a great place to study or have a meeting with somebody during the evening compared to when I went during the day. read more
