This place does a good job ... but more importantly, the owners are nice people. They go the extra mile for good customer service and care about their customers. When it comes to dry cleaners, quality is important to me ... but what keeps me coming back is customer service. They do same day service if you drop it off early and request it ... and their hours are good for businesspeople ... they open earlier and stay open later than some of their comptition. (Some dry cleaners close at 5 p.m. which does me no good because that is what time most people get out of work) I will keep coming back to this place because I feel welcome and appreciated as a customer. I loved my experience with Palace Cleaners! The owner was very welcoming and helpful, and my clothes never looked better! I had a nasty stain on my shirt I needed out, and a pair of pants that needed to be altered. They were able to do such a great job in a short period of time. I highly recommend! I took my 3 dresses here, one of them was in very poor condition. I went to them asked them to clean, the guy was petty rude and wasn't upfront about the rates. He gave me really high quote but I was in rush so I went for it anyway. The dresses were cleaned well I must say, but the customer support is not good and rates are very high. read more

I have this really long suede coat that I bought about four years ago that I didn't dry clean - EVER - until just recently. Yeah, I know. That's gross. But hey, give me a break. The coat cost $60 when I first bought it. When I brought it to the multiple dry cleaners located in Westwood for an estimate, they were quoting me costs around $70. Let's do the math on that one - $70 to clean a $60 jacket. Yeah...let's not and just keep wearing it until it becomes ridiculously dirty. Good thing I moved back home and went to Palace Cleaners. The guy working there couldn't quote a price but told me he'd give me a good deal on cleaning that suede jacket of mine. The end price was about $50 for that jacket PLUS a couple blazers for work. I couldn't post unless I chose a star and 1 star is one too many for Palace Cleaners. For a few years I have taken my parents clothing to Palace and for an equal amount of time my mother has argued that they were unfriendly and not that great. The icing on the cake came when I noticed that the pants to a suit were not hanging with the suit jacket that had been cleaned. Upon asking polietly, the man working there said that the pants were not brought in contrary to the receipt that stated a suit had been cleaned. He haphazardly searched for the missing pants and insinuated I was lying (receipt stated that a suit had been dropped off). I just wanted the suit pants back so I gave him a few more days to search for them. Upon returning to Palace Cleaners he told me that the pants had never been dropped off and that his Father and he decided that no compensation would be made. Frustrated I asked him if he really wanted me to write a reviw of my experience. He said "go ahead I already have one bad review so it doesnt matter and everyone uses more than one dry cleaner." Needless to say Palace Cleaner has lost our family business. Note: Only negative reviews since new ownership! read more

Palace Cleaners is a special business. Over the years, we have had mixed results with dry cleaners, but Palace Cleaners is truly the best! The service is excellent, the quality is second to none, prices are VERY reasonable and we are always greeted with a smile. Despite moving several miles away, we still go to Palace Cleaners. They know us by name and they are super friendly and accommodating. If you have had poor experiences with cleaners in the past you need to give Palace Cleaners a shot. When I first moved to La Crescenta in 2005, I had so much trouble finding a good, reasonsably priced dry cleaner. Then I discovered Palace Cleaners and I was so glad my search had ended! I actually don't even live in La Crescenta anymore, but I still make the trek over here because they have the best service and great prices. Never in your life will you have a more enjoyable experience at the dry cleaners than when you go here. Yoon and Stacy are the nicest people in the world. And they treat you like family. My family has gone here for 20 years with no end in sight. I go out of my way to drive out to La Canada and its worth it. Reasonable prices. Great service. They are the best. read more

Why oh why is it so hard to find a decent drycleaner nowadays? We've been coming here a few times without much fuss (with the exception of prices being a tad bit high, but probably the norm for this area) until recently where one of my shirts came back with a huge rip in the elbow. Let me back up a sec, I dropped my shirts off on a wednesday morning, they said they could get it to me by friday by 4 pm. Come friday at 4 pm, my shirts are done by not wrapped, so it was obvious they were behind or rushing. Whatever. Fastforward, the owner did not even mention the rip, and handed me the shirts as if there were no issues. I get home and see the rip, then return to complain about it. The owner claims that the rip was not his fault (ok), hes not liable for damage (great), that the shirt was OLD (wtf I bought this shirt 6 months ago), and that he would refund me the $3.50 (great customer service!). Did not get any apologetic sense whatsoever. Will not be coming back to this place. If I could give less than one star, equivalent to the amount of F's given by this place I would. read more

Zero star if I could. Dropped off a pair of suit pants on a Monday morning for a Saturday pick up. When I went in on Saturday, the owners son (after checking their hangers) simply stated "we don't have it". I ask for clarification. He says he wasn't the one who took in the order with me (his dad did) and says he needs to check on it. I remind him that it was promised to be ready for pick up that day which was needed for an event. No apologies were given. No sense of customer service. He says to come back "later". I request a phone call once my pants were found. I don't hear from them for the next 3 days, so I go back to check in. The dad (one who took my pants) checks on my ticket and says "we still don't have it". No apologies were given. Again. He says sometimes this happens and I should wait a month for the pants to show up. What? I ask that they compensate me and he says no. He says to wait and come back. It's been over 3 weeks now and I'm considering the pants lost at this point. If you expect to get your clothes back, I wouldn't recommend going to this place. read more

I've been going here for a few years now and I can't believe what ended up happening. They made some chemical stains on my expensive designer jeans that cost $250 and my expensive shirt $200. They claimed that I had done that when clearly it was a chemical stain. He explained that it was due to sweat...that made no sense what so ever. This has happened before but I let it go and gave them the benefit of the doubt but it kept happening. I literally thought that it was my fault this whole time but now realize it was theirs all along. I'm never going back here and they lost a valuable customer. I probably spent over $50 a month there. The younger owner there is so rude. The dad is a bit nicer but man... Such poor character. If he did make a mistake, all he had to say was I'm sorry and that would be the end of it but he decided to go with the blaming route and lost a customer. read more

I took in 3 items to be dry cleaned, and a coat to be tailored. Initially, I was told the coat would be an easy fix, about $7-8 to repair. On picking up my clothes, the man complained it had been difficult to repair and instead charged $47; they had also lost one of the tops that I brought in; and when I got home, I saw that the coat still had a hole in the exact same place--$47 for a slightly smaller rip? Very unpleasant experience, and I would not trust them again. read more

I use them as a shirt laundry and am overall very satisfied with the job they do. Some newer employees have come on in the last month who are not so good. But I say give them a chance to get up to speed. read more

They do a great job on your dry cleaning and combine that with great service. Definitely recommend if you are picky about the way your clothes are pressed. read more
